Order critical medicine each month through app. Never have medicine ready on time without constant follow up. Insurance restricts medicine to so many doses per month so delays leave me without critical medicine based on pharmacy delays. Called today to ensure medicine would be filled in time. Told in stock and pick up. Went to pick it up and told out of stock. I did not speak to general CS, I confirmed with dispensing pharmacy directly. Female pharmacist was rude, offered no apologyAnd gave the don’t bother me attitude. Not surprised by low ratings as this is a reoccurring theme where they cause delays and I cannot get critical medicine unless I pay out of pocket. Has happed to me at least 10 times with this pharmacy.

They had what we needed but some of the stuff in the store was a bit off. They have their liquor locked up but its just like a gate that you can easily move aside and take some from. Its not really locked up.... Also I took a coupon book while we left and saw that the coupon book was for 2/26/17-3/25/17 and were in November of 2017. This could lead to a bunch of complains and them having to deal with this. I dont think theyve changed it since then...

Totally useless. They judge, they make you jump through hoops to get a prescription filled, they have an attitude, they make up ridiculous policies, they are ignorant and extremely rude. I would avoid this pharmacy like the plague. They told me I had to have a prescription sent over before they could tell me if they had the medication I was calling about.It is ridiculous and completely absurd to expect doctors to just write prescriptions all over the place to find out if you have a medication in stock. I will never go here again. Goodbye Walgreens!! Thanks but no thanks.By far the worst pharmacy I have interact with in the Saint Charles, Batavia, Geneva area. I wouldn’t ever recommend them to anybody I care about. SMH.

Today the pharmacy tech @ the window was extremely rude. After calling to fill my rx earlier (there is ALWAYS some sort of confusion on their end BTW) and the pharm tech telling me it would be ready by this afternoon…I naturally went to retrieve it and the tech at the window said it won’t be ready until the 17th and then proceeded on trying to school me on my medication and why it cannot be filled today (not recognizing that I spoke w someone else earlier and they specifically told me to pick it up this afternoon and also not allowing me enough time to speak to tell her the 17th was ok)- totally felt judged & per usual frustrated as hell. It was ridiculous and unnecessary for the tech to speak over me repeating the philosophy on controlled substances- when I specially called and spoke with someone this morning and not to mention I’ve been on this rx for YEARS and understand / respect the importance the term “controlled substance” SO RUDE!!!!!I would however like to give the male pharmacist w the accent a 5 star review as he has helped me significantly in the past! Appreciate you!

Their pharmacy is a complete rip off. My medication is $15 at every pharmacy but then Walgreens wants to charge me $150, trying to blame it on my insurance. I called my insurance and they said it should be $15 for the same medication at every pharmacy.

(NOTE***This rating is for the Walgreens corporation in general, not the Geneva store. 5 stars to my Geneva Pharmacy, I love you guys. I'm sorry this 1 star review will reflect on your store but hopefully it will open some eyes.)Walgreens is pathetic for caving to Republicans and removing abortion pills in some states. I live in Illinois, I'm fine (for now) but that's not the point. Walgreens should take the word of doctors and pharmaceuticals, not threats from religious politicians. Walgreens is my main pharmacy, I have no issues with My pharmacy. But I have lost all respect for Walgreens now. I hope the Walgreens' pharmacists and techs nationwide, who actually care about their clients' wellbeing, do not accept this decision laying down.

I received a PCR Covid test here on January 21, 2023 and was told I would get my results via email in 48-72 hours. It's been 5 days now and I still haven't received the results. Not impressed with this Walgreens.

Live all the way in South Elgin but I come to the Geneva Walgreens because the service is phenomenal I can’t say enough about Dave the assistant store manager help me in the media department. Got some pictures printed on a new metal canvas when I went to pick up I was not happy with the results so I went ahead and got different ones done on bamboo which came out much much better to Dave’s suggestion.. he was patient with me with my 101 questions and had an answer for every question I had. Again can’t say enough for the staff and Dave you rock

The staff are rude and clearly lacking in customer service training. I was shocked when I dealt with an employee named Annabelle that represented herself as a supervisor. If she is suppose to be “supervising” then by her own admission she is not educated enough to handle customer service issues and was trained to be rude and unhelpful. I’ve never encountered a Walgreens with such a rough group of employees. I was extremely surprised that the Geneva store was unable to find competent employees.

I've dealt with this place for a while because its location is convenient. It's usually crowded and understaffed. Despite having 2 drive up lanes, they never have more than one person working the drive through, so you have to wait just as long as if there were only one lane. Over half the time I call, I am on hold for a substantial period of time, and often end up transferred back out to the front desk. One of the pharmacists is rude and condescending (tall guy, dark hair).UPDATE: things seem to be improving. I'll reserve judgment for a while, but increasing from 1 to 3 starsCalled before 9:00 a.m on Sunday morning and woke me up.

I’ve been a loyal Walgreens customer for my prescriptions for 10 plus years. I will be pulling my scripts and going elsewhere due to the new young lady in pharmacist. She is extremely rude and has no customer service skills at all. Would not even answer simple questions about a disease I have for life.

Good Pharmacy that will help you with getting your medications if you are having trouble with approvals or refills and if you need help figuring out details of your medication or side effects they are helpful and knowledgeable. While you are waiting for your prescription you can do shopping for some groceries or beauty products they have a good selection of candy and snacks or get your pictures printed out in many different sizes and options for you to choose from.

Incompetent staff, slower than a snail. I waited so long in the drive thru for my medication I grew a complete beard and also ran out of gas. My car had to be towed and my illness repaired itself I didn't even need the medication after the year I waited in line . Avoid this place , I had better service at the vets hospital or cook county hospital.

This place is absolutely ridiculous. As far as I'm concerned Walgreen's should do a complete pharmacy staff reboot here. Almost everyone there is COMPLETELY rude. If you walk up to the consultation counter when you should be going to the drop off counter (which really doesn't seem that different to me) they will snidely say "Down here!" or "You have to come down here!" sometimes without even looking at you, instead of politely walking down to meet you and redirecting you. I understand that it is clearly a busy location but even the head pharmacists are rude and VERY UNHELPFUL. Everyone seems stressed overworked irritated and annoyed with simple questions. They need to wake up. I know you have a lot of rules and regulations and stress to deal with, but in the end it's still a customer service job and everyone waiting can hear and see you dealing with other customers.

This place is a joke! My whole family used to gets their meds here but not anymore. The employees are rude especially a blonde middle aged woman behind the pharmacy. My medicines have been given to me wrong on many occasions, talk about a law suite waiting to happen. I ask every single time for them to give me the right type of medicine and every time they get it wrong, and I have been getting this medicine from them every 30 days for the last 4 years! They have caused problems with my insurance company bc of medicines being double charged. Rude, understaffed, inconsiderate, and extremely unprofessional! I've been trying to call all afternoon to fill my meds and the phone must be off the hook bc it just makes a dial tone and hangs up. I'm switching to cvs.

These people complaining about rude employees are probably the rude customers these employees probably deal with everyday!I for one have never had an issue with any employee at this Walgreens. They are all so amazing and helpful!Definitely my go to Walgreens of choice!!

New pharmacist attitude is disgusting! I have been customer to walgreens for 18 years and that is over. I have used this specific walgreens for about 3 years now with not one issue. I will be removing the numerous prescriptions I fill and the $1,000s of dollars Iv spent as a bonus rewards member. This is due too one reason and that is the poor service of the new young lady who has been hired as the pharmacists. She will let you know that even tho they are YOUR scripts and she is NO doctor she will alter them in anyway she see fit to charge me more co pay and my insurance (that I pay for blue cross at that) less.. charging me for random 50 day supplies because it was not specified as a 30 day to get 2 co pays at once for a random amount and tell you she dose not owe you a thing.. gross lady where are your manners??!?

Got an order for curbside pickup. Order was picked within minutes of me ordering. On arrival the email had a direct link to notify the store and the staff was fast and very friendly. Probably the best curbside experience I've had.

Very convient location and this location offers electric vehicle charging stations but I am going to start going to the cvs across the street because of the poor customer service. I know no one wants to be at work but every time I’ve gone here it’s been unpleasant experience.

Do yourself a favor and find another location for the pharmacy. It's consistently the absolute worst pharmacy experience I've ever had. The attendants are rude and it always takes at least 30 min in the drive through.

Ordered from the photo department and it said I could pick it up later that night. However, my order remains in the processing state telling me that it isn't ready yet. 2 days later and they email that they can't process the order.

Sort of convenient location. I have had to wait quite awhile for prescriptions here, but other shopping is normal. The parking entrance is off of Bricher.
