So many options for kitty 🐈‍⬛ supplies food trinkets and furniture. Not just for cats but other common pets as well. The employees were super friendly. Thank you Eddie for ringing out our items and it was a pleasure speaking to you. 😊 also I would like to mention I was super surprised to see actual cat nip that looked full and rich at this store. Side note….I fell in love with the kitty charms and gave me a great idea 💡🤓😺Thank you.

I have been taking my dog here to grooming for years and when I picked my dog up today the groomer said next time get the knots out of your dogs ears before he comes in. I thought that was somewhat rude, I think they are the groomers. Unhappy that I called a few times and was unable to get a hold of anyone. I also never complained when I paid for a service of teeth brushing which was never done ✅ but I didn’t say anything. Definitely time to find a new groomer! It’s a shame because I really liked the way he was groomed.

First time coming to this location in over a decade and was plenty surprised about the amount of animals yall had here to look at. Our son is obsessed with reptiles so he had plenty to look at. The staff was stocked up and plenty helpful here which was nice. We will definitely be back in the near future.

The groomer tried to scam me into paying more. They claimed my dog needed an express groomer that is only done during the work week so you have to take off work and it is $15 more. They claimed my dog was scratching the cage more than normal today and they are worried he will break his nails. If that was the case why did they not record it? Also I told them he had his shots yesterday so he might be a little wound up and sore. From my understanding all dogs can scratch a bit at the cage. The staff told me they don't care and they won't see my dog anymore unless I take off work and pay extra. I told them I will never be back. If he's that upset in the cage just let him out and put his leash to something. I see them do it with other dogs all the time. They keep them out of the cadge and just get a towel for them to lay on. It's all inclosed anyway. Also my service includes a excreasion but they refuse to do it. I am paying for it but they won't do it. My dog needs it too and they just refuse because they don't want to do it and I still have to pay full price. On top of all of that my dogs ears are not clean after I paid them to clean them and his teeth do not look and smell like they brushed them. I feel like they just rub the soap on then wash it off then do the bare minimum with everything else not even finishing half of it. Adult women who act like little kids and management doesn't care to correct it.

Came in to get a fish for my little brother. Mind you I’ve owned beta fishes before I know the basics and all. A male employee decided to give me a rundown on how to care for the fish and I respectfully listened and just agreed. 2 Employees proceeded to not sell me the fish because I didn’t buy a tank, heater, water purifier, etc. They said and I quote “I do not feel comfortable selling this to you knowing they don’t have a tank yet” They only want your money… I had to go to a different store just to get another fish. Mind you I have a tank at home, but what good was arguing going to do? Unless you are willing to drop the hundreds that man was trying to sell me… don’t waste your time here.

We had a return that we did not have a receipt for and they were very nice doing the return. They were able to take our phone number and find the purchase but it was over 30 days so we had to get a gift card which is fine

While my experience with this store's staff is five stars, the fact that with every visit, I have to look up every item on their website to have them price match is absurd and should be an illegal practice. Be warned when visiting the store most items are anywhere between 25 and 70% cheaper online on the Petco website. The kind and informative staff will price match, but you must do the leg work.

The Geneva store’s fish section, specifically the variety and quality of fish and cleanliness of tanks. The person in charge of that area is so knowledgeable and friendly. Best aquatic section in the area (comparing to other pet stores)

We went in to pick up some things for our pup and we were greeted by Danielle. She is phenomenal and made our day. We were able to get everything we needed for our pup. We were supposed to stop at another pet store, but Danielle was so nice we ended up just grabbing everything we needed. Very knowledgeable and personable! First off my dog was terrified from the car ride. Didn't realize couch potatoes had a fear of car rides. So don't mind the look of distress. She was back to herself by the end of the cut because she was in great hands. The service was fast. The attention and care of my pup was excellent. And the price beats the heck out of going to the vet for a nail trim. Will be going back.

We've used 3 Petco stores in the area for grooming our large dog (Great Pyrenees) and been happy with each location. It's easy to book the appointments online or on the phone and they groomers do a fantastic job.But Holly gave our pup extra care and the best looking haircut of his life. He looks show-ready!Staff inside the store is also friendly and helpful, giving you space to shop or they will provide recommendations when you want them. This is the furthest location for us to visit, but we'll be happy to return soon.

I visited this store. As soon as I walked in I was greeted and asked if I needed help with anything. I told the employee helping me that I was looking for Guinea Pig food . The employees name was Danielle. She immediately said I will show you where that is located and helped me pick the food for my guinea pig that she recommended! She was very knowledgeable and gave me tips and tricks on how to care for my piggie! She was very professional. Thank you Danielle for making my experience at Petco great! This was my first time at this location! I will be back thanks to the professionalism and help of Danielle!

Very helpful. The employees are very knowledgeable and this store takes very good care of their fish in particular. These employees care about your pets. I have been here many times now, and they have never let me down. Beat the heck out of Petsmart and most other Petco locations. Management is very nice as well and it is a laid-back friendly environment without being pressured into buying… although I do buy anyways- a lot… lol 😆
