We took our dog here for less than a month and our dog got seriously injured by another dog, with her ear being bit in half. It required stitches and she had to wear a cone for six weeks after. They downplayed it in the moment and then didn't so much as call or send an email to check on her and see how she was doing afterwards. They didn’t even apologize until we emailed them after the fact, and when they did email us back they said we’d hear from their GM as a followup and we never did.Our dog had previously gone to another doggy daycare for 3 years without any issues.Ultimate, I wouldn’t recommend sending your dogs here.

Cannot say enough great things about DEPAW. We have done one on one training with Grace, who is so knowledgeable and a really sweet person. We've done pack walks led by Deb, who really knows her stuff and makes dog training fun. Additionally, we have trusted our pup to board with DePAW countless times over the last year and have really enjoyed getting to know the staff and they take such great care of the dogs.Highly recommend this facility for ANYTHING per related!

They did a good job grooming my dog but. The prices doubled in the past year. Used to be $80 for grooming and went up to $155. I will definitely be looking at other dog grooming services.

If you take your pup here, and drive around the building down commerce drive, you will see this kennel they put dogs in all the time. No greenery for them to even pee on. The first time I witnessed it, it was a short haired pitty in the snow and 17 degrees absolutely shouting and barking to get let in. I had to physically walk in to the business and tell them to let that poor baby inside. This place charges way too much to be putting your dog in an empty kennel in the cold and rain and when they jump on the doors to come in and bark for 10 minutes or more at a time, they come out and yell at your dog. I have complained many times because I work on the same street, and they’re always rude. Then they always let the dog in RIGHT AWAY. Don’t take your dog here, I wouldn’t. Not for the price! This is just one of the times I witnessed this!Side note in this video this poor guy had already been barking for 10+minutes, and it was raining/sleeting outside. Then the worker finally came out after I called and complained, and she started screaming at him and intimidated him to back away from the door. I wish I would have kept recording but I HAD TO CALL

DePAW remains my favorite for training and boarding my dog. You can tell the love and passion they put into taking care of their client dogs and doing little things to make their services outstanding. Recently they had the adorable opportunity to take a free picture of your dog with Santa Claus!

When i called DePaw about boarding our dog for 2 weeks spring of 2023, i asked about the daily fee. I was told about 3 levels of boarding fee, 2 of them with 2 "play periods" a day. I chose the middle one which was at that time, $24.95 per day. At no time during the phone call, did the DePaw employee mention any other boarding fees. (We did get nails and a bath during the stay and those charges were fine). No fees at that time were listed on their website. So, I was expecting a total amount due, per the information provided at the time i made the reservation, of approximately in the $300 - $400 range. When picking our our dog, I was shocked to be given a bill for over $1,000.00. I told the woman taking payment that this was not what i was quoted. She replied that there is an overnight fee as well. This was NOT told to me at the time i placed the reservation, it was not provided to me via any means, and it was not on the website at this time. I noted this in my survey thinking, ok they'll get back to me but no one did. I would like to add that my dog seemed to get very good care. I like DePaw from the standpoint of those who took care of my dog, they seem to love and take good care of dogs. My thought is when boarding with them, make darn sure you get something in writing as to the total of your boarding fee up front.

I've been bringing my puppy for lessons and daycare for a few months now and she loves it! We also decided to take some of their other available classes and she is a model pup! Everyone is so nice and clearly cares about my dog. Highly recommend!

Love! Love! Love it!! My pup (Parker) goes her for daycare, boarding, spa treatment, and school. We've done pack walks and I plan to do agility with him soon.I'm always comfortable leaving my fur baby here and know he will come home sleepy after a day of play 💕I even get a report card on his behavior and sometimes photos.

Such a great place to bring your dog for daycare, training or grooming. They have a lot of fun activities you can do with your dog to encourage training outside of the basic classes, etc. Our dog loves going here for daycare and always comes home happy!

Can't say enough about DePAW! We have a rescue dog that needs a little extra TLC and they've been there every step of the way! Trainer Emily is patient, (with our pup AND me), gentle and confident. She is able to "read" your dog in a way you might not be able to do as a parent. This different perspective enabled me to see where I, the parent, was selling my dog short. What a blessing!!! The facilities are clean and the front desk staff is warm and friendly. Their service from start to finish has been outstanding. I shared my experience with my own staff during a customer service training session. They're that good. Many thanks to DePaw for helping my Millie reach her true potential!

I can not recommend this place highly enough. We were going away on vacation for 2 weeks and had to board 2 senior dogs, one of which had a couple of pretty severe medical conditions. They were so accommodating and had no problem taking them in. We were worried about our seniors having issues with daycare and over exerting themselves and they made the right call with their care and adapted their care to what was their best fit. They made all the right calls with our pups and took the best possible care of them. They even put up with me calling pretty often asking after the dogs and gave us updates as we needed them. If you're a pet obsessed parent like me, I definitely recommend DePAW.

If I could give this place a zero I would. I left my puppy who is 8 months old there for the holiday weekend for the very first time. I only asked for boarding and not for any playtime because he's a boy and hasn't been neutered so I thought that was more appropriate. When I picked him up they told me he had a scratch on his nose from rubbing in his cage. His eyes were soaking wet like he was crying uncontrollably. When I got home I noticed he had two puncture wounds one on top of his neck and one below and they were both scabbed over. When I called to ask about this they immediately said that I was wrong and that it never happened, and was very defensive instead of asking questions about my dog. My puppy sat there without medical attention after being attacked by a big dog and cried and cried. This place is more interested in your money than the well being of your dog. I would be more understanding if I received a call about the situation and they offered to seek medical attention for my dog. They made my 8 month old puppy suffer in pain for hours or even days to where he is now afraid to go pee outside by himself. I would find a new place and not use this negligent service if you want a safe place for your pet.

We have never boarded our two small dogs, ages 12 and 7. Needless to say we were extremely apprehensive and nervous. The staff made us feel at ease encouraging us to call at any time, which we did, receiving daily updates. Dogs came back in excellent condition, emotionally and physically. Thank you DePaw staff!

If I could give DePaw 10 stars, I would. I am somewhat unnecessarily picky about who I leave our precious baby in the care of, and I have zero reservations of dropping him off here for a week. He had a rough go in the first few months we had him, was very sick and had a weekly standing appointment at the vet with numerous medications. Since then, I am hesitant to leave him with anyone short of the dog whisperer. We have had him in daycare, boarding with daycare during the day, and they have given him a bath, and I am incredibly happy with all services. Our dog is a 2 year old beagle mix, and is very energetic. He LOVES playing with other dogs. We tried a daycare type place when he was younger and they were very rude and said that he could not come back because he was “too rough”. This surprised me a bit, because he does not have a mean bone in his body. I desperately wanted a day-care place to work out for him, because when we go on vacation or to visit out of state family, he is way too energetic to sit in a kennel by himself and get 20 minutes of playtime a day like most facilities. I was nervous trying out DePaw, and told them upfront that we were told he plays very rough, and they assured me it would not be a problem. After the first two daycare visits, I began to feel very reassured. They assured me each time that his play is very standard, and he found several puppy friends with just as much energy who played with him all day, every day. They take excellent care, follow all “special” instructions, and keep track of how well he eats each meal, and how well he did each individual day. The people who work here truly know what they are doing, giving dogs “time-outs” to calm down when warranted, but allowing them to play to their heart’s content when behaving. Every single time we go to drop him off, he knows where we are as soon as we’re in the parking lot. He starts doing a little dance in the car, anxious to get inside. As soon as we are inside, he makes a beeline straight to the door that leads to the back where the dogs play. My husband and I no longer exist, and he is SO excited to get going. This most recent time, as soon as we brought him home, he kept going toward our garage door, and even figured out how to open it, wanting to go in the car to go back. There are very few things, if anything, that our dog loves more than DePaw, and as a neurotic, super-picky dog mom, I can’t recommend them highly enough.

Love this place the people are knowlegable and know their stuff. They are friendly. And my dogs love to go here, we pulled up to the place and both started whining, I've seen other dogs do this when entering this place. My dog are well cared for and they care for all breeds including Pitts. 5 stars!

Friendly and Caring. Over the past 20 years we've used all the area kennels within 15+ miles of the tri cities. Our first choice is always DePaw. Not just because it's close and convenient, but our pets have had better experiences there. The flexibility in playtime and daycare is huge. Gone are the calls during vacation of a dog bite needing vet care (which has happened a few times at other local kennels. Not that those are bad facilities, it's just never happened at DePaw). We we've used DePaw over the years since they first opened. They are and will remain our 1st choice boarding option.

My dog is temperamental and suffers from diabetes. She's aloof with other dogs and prefers watching to playing. The staff has done an excellent job managing her condition while we traveled and we were surprised to see a picture of her on the DePAW Facebook page visibly enjoying herself watching the other dogs. We can't recommend DePAW enough!

Paid $300 for basic obedience classes, was told it was a for life program, we had to stop going mid-class because of work and school. We had planned on going back, but they have changed all of the classes and have recommended we do board an train which is extremely costly. We were also told that if obedience classes didn't work for our dogs we could put the money paid towards board and train, but then told us when we came back that they wouldn't do that. Really wish we would have gone somewhere else as we have wasted $300 here and have gotten zero training

They offer daycare training and Grooming. The daycare is a little bit more expensive than other places but they seem to always have room. Grooming is a fair price. They can usually get you in same day.

Went in for a training evaluation and I was told I wasn’t on the schedule that I made 3 weeks ago. The staff member at the desk claim they called and left a voicemail saying they had to cancel the appointment. However no voicemail was ever received. They Should have tried to call again and follow up if they have to leave a voicemail to make sure the client got the message.They didn’t bother to offer to squeeze us in since we traveled 40 minutes to get there.. would not reccomend this place to anyone. Only way I would consider going back is if waived a training session fee.

My dog has anxiety issues, it's hard to find a place willing to address her needs. Depaw has been immensely helpful with her needs and mine. They are helpful and very willing to answer my questions this has been an amazing experience working with them.
