I love the Henry County Humane SocietyThis is Cool Whip, and Aureanna, Cool Whip, was so scared when we first met the lady at the counter was so helpful and kind and even gave us food and a blanket to keep her calm. Cool Whip is opening up and I'm so happy she is in my life now

Had to walk through the place when I lost my cat recently. Although I didn't find him there, I could feel the concern from the staff who helped me and a genuine want for me to find him soon.

I adopted a thirteen year old cat. He was free. You have to step in these tubs with some solution on them to enter each cat room. Very clean. Staff very informativeThey know their animalsYou have to fill out an adoption application before hand. I have a ten year old cat at home. He lost his buddy. They helped me pick out a cat that would work. 5 days later they were kissing.

What a wonderful experience! Hannah and her staff are fabtastic! The facility was immaculate. Hannah was incredibly knowledgeable and so dedicated! We adopted Lacy today. She's a 1 year old calico and we couldn't be happier!!

The hours kind of threw me off at first, but it really is a great place.We adopted our youngest cat from Henry County Humane Society and everything went well.I was able to go see most of the cats, animals seemed happy, healthy, and cared for, the facility was clean, and the staff was very friendly and helpful.I would definitely recommend this shelter to anyone in the area

Someone dumped a pregnant cat in our neighborhood she had kittens , called them and they said they couldn't help, we helped with donations and items when they were building the new facility. Now when we need help they are not there. I pay enenough taxes in this County they'll just have to be satisfied with that

Got a beautiful cat. She's a bit of a bully. Feel they should have explained her stomach issues before we agreed to take her. She is fitting in well now. Think stomach issues have improved.

Place is managed poorly, and they have ridiculous rules for adoption. The animal shelter is full, and they make it difficult to adopt.

They take very good care of the pets. It is very clean. They don't just let you walk in and visit so the pets are not socialised with people, but the pets are still friendly enough. The hours are 4 to 6 everyday so odd hours.
