Clean and organized well. Staff was friendly. Not super big, but still a good selection. Found an awesome vintage dress, but disappointed there were a few tiny holes I didn't notice at the store. Was able to fix them, just wish it wasn't the price I had paid, especially since I had to repair 4 holes. At the same time tho,I think I'm glad they didn't notice, or they might not have put it out... 😅

Doesn't care about the health of their employees, is a iowa based store in a illinois state that is why their prices are higher...and i mean really high,sells all their good finds online and keeps them in the back...non profit...that's a joke sure u might take 88 cents on the dollar but who prices a used couch $107 dollars..you should change your name from goodwill to good god..u pocket alot of profit quit kidding yourselves.you guys are joke..your prices are a joke at least the iowa side is..I would give zero stars if I could.u throw away alot of good thing that can be sold trust me I've seen it.the rest goes to 3rd world countries just to be thrown on beaches into piles of trash..in conclusion...do better geneseo goodwill I know u can🤦‍♂️

My friends and I are frequent shoppers at this particular Goodwill. Although on the pricey side the clothes are usually great. Today was like any other day until we started trying on our clothes. One of my friends and I shared a dressing room while another one was in the dressing room next to us. Our friend called us out to look at her outfit so we opened our door and went to take a look. As we did a couple of the employees looked at our dressing room and made a remark to us. It was one lady with dyed hair and a tattoo on her neck (named Jen) and another short older lady with what looked to be a messed up eye. Basically they belittled our character and said we better be cleaning up our mess when we were done because they had to clean up “our” previous mess that we had left. Not only did they accuse us of leaving that mess but they talked to us with such attitude that left us all in shock. We confronted both of them and said that it actually wasn’t our mess because it was our first time trying on our stuff during the time we were there and we would never leave a mess anyways. Not only did they take out their frustration on us, but they also apparently lacked attentiveness to who is using the dressing rooms. It didn’t stop there. For the rest of our time there, Jen wouldn’t stop staring and giving us dirty looks, which we didn’t appreciate and made us uncomfortable. I hope that those two employees will learn how to correctly handle a situation like the one I experienced today and to not take out their frustrations on other customers.

Had to wait in line outside for over 25 minutes. People were leaving slowly, but the person with the people counter would not come outside and allow anyone to enter because her checkout line was backed up. She was very rude. Will never return to Geneseo, illinois goodwill again. Left their store and went to salvation army in moline. Workers were friendly and not making customers stand outside waiting to go in. Employee's were very quick to check you out. I highly recommend going to salvation Army. Employees will treat you very good.

One of my favorite places to look for gently used, high quality items! Everything from clothes for work, toys for my kids, seasonal decorations, and pet toys!

The store is a nice, and the staff are great, super nice, but I honestly think they charge way to much for things. Goodwill is suppose to be cheaper than going to retail stores like walmart, target, etc...but, there not. I have bought things at walmart that were cheaper there than at goodwill...its rediculious.

Best Goodwill in the state of Illinois! We visit this location 2 or 3 times a year while visiting friends or the Quad Cities. Excellent selection and very very friendly staff. Keep up the great work Geneseo Goodwill!

The store is very clean and very well maintained. They have almost everything. There is always 1-2 employees working on the floor to assist you if you need help.

Lived in this town all my life homegrown here and been a frequent shopper to Goodwill everything from shoes to hats and odds and ends but today I entered the store looking at the tool section toy surprise soon as I got there an employee (Jacob Dennis ) confronted me and asked me to refrain from using any harsh language my fiancee asked what did we say and he said curseing we had not been tho within minutes of him leaving us other people walkednuptous just to talk and all used that kind of language but didn't receive anything from him ? I don't agree with using that language but it is freedom of speech and equality and store employee shouldn't assume such things or provoke costumers in such away very unsatisfying

prices are outrageous given the fact this stuff is donated for free. They even upcharge on stuff that’s not in good quality

One of the better local Goodwills. If you are into refurbishing furniture or doing crafts, it's best to go right when they open for a better selection.
