I asked B&B to sharpen the blades on my push mower. They had my mower for approximately one month. Not once did they call me over that time period to give me an update when I might expect the mower. I called them at least a couple times to inquire when the mower would be done. Finally, one of the their employees informed me it would be done within the week and they would call. Once they got around to working on the mower the work was good and they fixed my throttle cable as well (much appreciated). I also had a flat rear tire on my bicycle and thought I would give them another chance. This was after they worked on my mower. After about a week and a half of receiving my bike, I called to inquire about progress on the bike. They said I would receive a call when the tire is repaired. After about another week, I sent an email asking when the flat tire would be repaired or replaced - no reply was given. I finally called at the end of the 3rd week and told them I would pick up the bike on Monday whether the bike was done or not. Thankfully, they were able to patch the tire and I was able to pick it up the following week- I think I was out of town and picked it up on Tuesday or Wednesday. I didn’t appreciate the lack of communication. I could have been told, when I dropped off the mower or the bike, that they were swamped and it might be a while to fix them. They do good work, but communication is nonexistent. I won’t say that I won’t be back, but I will definitely look elsewhere before I must return to B&B.

Purchased a MokWheel Basalt E-Bike from BB Lawn Care. Excellent customer service. Mr Schnaufner went out of his way to assist me with questions I had on the bike even after the business had closed for the day and he was home for the day. Bike was well taken care of and ready for pick up when I went to get. Staff also assisted in making sure the bike was safely secure in the back of my pickup with straps to ensure it made the ride home 60+ miles safely.I cannot say thank you enough to Mr. Schnaufer for his excellent customer service.Anyone looking for an e-bike please take the time to check them out. There are funding options out as well to help assist with your purchase

First time customer and now I’m a lifetime customer! You don’t find service like this anymore! Well I run my company this way too and maybe that’s why i appreciate it so much! It’s rare to find old school service these days! Bought a zero turn and had it delivered same day. Everything they are doing for us is above and beyond! Have to have some pieces ordered in for it and they’re even going to come get it when they come in and bring it back free of charge! This is the sort of thing I do for clients as well. You just don’t find this level of care anymore! Good job guys!

Hands down best place to buy a bike, grill or lawn equipment!!!! I've bought all of the above from them, and have never been disappointed. Service after the sale that can't be beat, and friendly owner and staff who truly care about getting you exactly what you want. If you don't understand something, they will patiently walk you through it. Worth the drive from the Quad Cities!

I first discovered this shop after Covid disrupted supply chains, and chainsaws were harder to find. We called all the Stihl dealers and found B and B. They had what we needed! I didn’t even think about using them for servicing saws, since our tree service is based in Davenport and we’ve used some closer shops. I mentioned to Mark that I was disappointed with every shop we have used because of the turn- around time and multi comebacks to get problems fixed. Mark simply asked for our business, and assured me they would take care of us. He said most repairs would be done within a week. I have brought dozens of Chainsaws here for repair over the past year, and have never been disappointed. I have never had to bring a saw back for the same problem- they fix it right! Tim, Mark, and Scott are always helpful, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable about what they sell/ service. Their Stihl tech is the best you will find anywhere. I highly recommend B and B!

Great place. They bend over backwards to make sure you are happy with your purchase. They actually sent two guys to my house to see first hand the problem I was having then took my garden tractor to their shop and fixed all needed things.

I took my bike in 30 minutes before close on a Saturday, and Scott was able to fix the problem in less than 5 minutes! Would highly recommend them to anyone, especially if you’re needing a bicycle or just a repair!

I took a tiller to them to be serviced a month later I called they had not looked at it yet.i get a letter a week later saying it needs new carb new fuel lines this unit is not repairable but heres a new one for 700.00 dollars when I get my old one home I see they have not even looked at it nothing has been touched spark plug still has diet all over nothing was cleaned off so i know they did not bother to even touch it just wanted to sell me a new one. I get my old one home and a guy said shoot it with some starter fluid I did it fired right up.i will never go to this shop again not even for a bicycle tube.

I took my weed eater to be fixed, and will not go there again.. I explained what it was doing to the guy. He didnt write anything I said. When I got the call it was done and picked it up it still didnt work. I went back saying it still doesn't work, the same guy from the first time said when it was dropped off I didn't tell them what it was doing so they had to guess what was wrong with it. He was very rude. We have done business there before, have been treated right till this time.
