the manager is a literal crackhead and she yelled at customers last night. Their was a promotion sale buy 1 pillow get 1 free. She ran around the whole store saying "if there's no purple sticker you ain't getting it" even though that isn't specified in her original poster that's hanging up on the wall. She then proceeded to take the pillows and not allow us to buy them or offer the sale that's posted, she said she didn't like how we talked so she wouldn't give us the sale, when all we were doing was asking for clarification on the sale, i will never be doing business here again and i suggest someone let the manager get high because she was feining last night for a bag and taking it all out on your customers!!!

Good for a quick run-in and much cheaper than the nearby alternatives; however, most of the staff are relatively lacking in common courtesy, they leave the register often because they're either too understaffed or simply oblivious to the customers, and the store either needs to expand or they need to seriously close the store for a day to put all of the stuff away, there's racks of clothes and bins of goods that often get in the way of the aisles and other products. Like I said, good for a quick in and out though, just hope that the cashier is back at the register by the time you're ready to buy your stuff and go.

Like any other Dollar Store. This one as of 08/12/20 does not have fresh produce like some others. They generally have a low, as well as, limited stock of icecream. That few times I went in they were VERY low on all cleaning supplies except for dish soap. Couple of the younger girls are very friendly and welcoming.

The workers at the Dollar General in Gardner, IL have been nothing but top notch, but I as a customer am about fed up of the store situation. I'm a disabled parent and with the way the store is always looking with carts of merchandise in aisles really makes me wonder how someone more disabled than I am is able to navigate the store. Seriously corporate Dollar General should be ashamed.

Used to be a good store now it’s a store that employees that like to close 30 minutes before closing time you can literally see them checking out other customers at the register bagging up stuff and yet the front door is locked with no sign knock on the door and they clearly turn their head to acknowledge you and then just ignore you.

Place is small and trying to put a lot if things in it makes it cluttered. Has great prices for kids clothes. This week is gray dots. If you purchase something with a gray dot on the tag it us 50% off.

The store constantly has stock within the aisles, which is a huge safety concern. The floors look like they haven't been mopped in weeks.

It seems as though every time I go in there everyone is stalking and the aisles are constantly blocked with racks and you can't get through anywhere it's very crowded compared to other Dollar Generals that I've been to
