In early August we ordered 10 windows from the Galesburg store and we were told they would be in in 2 weeks. At week 3 the windows still were not in, but our contractor removed our siding & started installing the new siding up to the windows because we were promised that they would be in the next week, 2 weeks after the initial delivery date. The windows didn't come in after a month and now our house has been without siding because the windows were supposed to be in over 2 months ago. We have been in frequent contact with our salesperson and been given multiple excuses as to why they are taking so long. We contacted him again last Thursday and finally heard back today (almost a full week later) stating the windows would be shipped on October 26...but they didn't know where they were being shipped from or when they could expect them to arrive at the Galesburg store. When we ask about a partial refund due to our contractor having to switch around his jobs as well as the additional stress on our HVAC system due to no siding for the past 6+ weeks we were told to "chalk it up to Covid" and nothing was going to be done to compensate us. To say this has been a frustrating situation is putting it mildly. I would NOT recommend RP Lumber to any of my friends or family due to the run-around we have got from them.
