Basically just a junk store selling for higher prices then the items originally go for. Things are always much more expensive then they need to be for a thrift store as they advertise to be. A bowl set should not be $20, when it came from Walmart for $15... That being said, there are always neat little nicknacks and stuff at these places, so I can't be toooo stingy with my star review

Very cramped in the clothes isles. It's just one huge row. The carts barely made it through. Very well maintained and clean. Funny it smells like all the others that I have been to. Fall and Halloween stuff they got lots of it a bit pricey but all brand new. Will be going again.

Horrible customer service. Cashier was MIA. Waited for 10 minutes for her to wander over. She was immediately rude, making sure I knew was bothering her. She answered the phone then had a conversation with a coworker all while continuing to ignore me. Oh... and you better already know they don't have bags or you will be treated like an idiot by a high school drop out. 4/20/23 7pm-ish

Excellent items meeting numerous needs priced well.More recently managers and newer personnel have rearrange d the venue's layout. It is very organized; showcasing many different types of items in such a way that they can more readily be found to purchase!

The store is ok, and the employees are friendly and do a good job. A LOT of closeout stuff though that's priced pretty high for goodwill (not bad if it were hobby lobby or something, but I went to goodwill for a reason) and the big carts are GREAT but the isles too narrow to fit through.

Goodwill is my favorite thrift store in Galesburg!! Great buys on really nice, brand name clothes! Lots of unique items, always. Plus they have 50% off on a color of tag every week and I get rewards as well as senior discount on my purchases! Very friendly staff to top it off😀

Goodwill is nice but the lady that checked me out was very disrespectful. She is an older white lady that had her mask on until I came up, and then seemed to pull hers off just because I had mine on. She then kept coughing and blowing and her noice while glaring at me and being very short. She only said a few words but almost shouted them every time. If she is there the next time I go, i will just leave.

Nice variety and I like that the clothing is sorted by size and color. Some is a little pricey for being donated, but i realize they need to make money. But i DO NOT like being asked to "round up" my total. I have a budget. That's why I am shopping there in the first place, to save money!

Just what we needed. The clothing section is the largest part of the store, but that is what we were looking for. Maybe a little smaller that other GWs I have visited, but no less useful. Store was well staffed and there is plenty of parking.

Been there many times and always enjoy browsing through the niknaks section and the electronics section. Sometimes the prices are high but other times it's a steal! Found a full leather jacket, name brand, for $20 (easily $200) and looked brand new! But like everything in life...wrong size!! (Be okay if I had to lose weight but grow taller?lol) Just God's way saying someone else needed it more! ;)The staff is okay, always moving and tending to the customers. I think it's funny that while I'm perusing the isles and isles of clothes I sometimes get a worker quietly following me readjusting the racks I've moved the hangers on to look perfect!lol More power to them!Good selection of books and dvds, their furniture section is limited but a good find is always possible.If you're into yardsales and finding unwanted treasures this is your kind of place!

Prices are high for used clothes. Things are packed in too tight to look at. Burlington Iowa store is a lot better and they have a clearance rack for. 88 in addition to the half price color code .

The staff is always nice. But they jack up the prices of every thing, so the color of the day doesn't mean much. I travel for work and browse different GW and this one is lacking.

I have stopped shopping at Goodwill for the fact they are OVER PRICED on many specialty, seasonal items.Example: a small feather boa is $1.99 at Goodwill and the exact boa is at Dollar Tree for $1.00.It is MIND BOGGLING that a company can over charge the poor as they pay their works minimum wage and keep them too poor to even shop at Goodwill.Goodbye Goodwill, I would rather pay a true price than an inflated price.

Galesburg Illinois. I live next to the store. After the store closes I see ppl taking things out of the donation box. I call the cops but they don't get here in time. Plz help Goodwill get a camera on the boxes.Thank you

Been to a lot of Goodwill stores but this was not a great experience. The store is very unkept and the isles are just crammed full of stuff and very messy/dirty.

Nice surprises, but the word on the street is a little too pricey, in general, for a thrift store.I Do dig the round up option at the cashier to benefit Veterans!
