If I could give it negative 5 stars I would. I walked in and there was 5 employees standing around the very front of the store. I walked past and went to the firearm desk to purchase a handgun and rifle for myself. I waited 15 to be helped to even see an employee from that section. Nothing....waited and waited the. Just walked out. I walked by the same 5 employees on the way out and was not greeted or asked to come back and thanks for shopping. Don't waste your time.....farm king/galesburg guns and ammo is literally right down the road. They really missed out. I was preparing to spend around $2000 in their store!

Bought a bycicle here. Paid over 200 dollars and I've already had to replace the seat, the handlebars, the chain and 1 tire. I've had the bike 2 weeks. I haven't been able to get ahold of the store to enquire about returning it. I'll not spend anymore money here.

Went shoe shopping here. Great selection on shoes. Prices good if you can find them on sale. Very friendly and helpful employees too! Have come here before and found some clearance items with unbeatable prices!

I have been to this store twice, attempting to spend $200 on a kayak. Apparently they don't need my money. I just about had to beg someone to help me. But even the salesperson who came over didn't know much about kayaks. They had no idea what was in stock, how to order one or make any effort to help us buy a kayak. I left and went to Farm King and immediately had 3 people helping us. They even tied my newly purchased kayak to the roof of my car. Don't even bother stopping by. No one will help you and no one will care.

It's not that I hated the store; rather, I disliked how I was never approached or even spoken to the entire time I was in the store. I walked out without buying a kayak, paddle, J hooks and a life vest...would have been about a $400 order. Guess they didn't need my money.

Since it's the only sporting goods store in town I have been in quite a bit. The store is in need of some repairs and the parking lot you can loose a small child in. The shelves can be a mess and sometimes the selection can be terrible depending on what your looking for. The shoe people are clueless. But the staff is friendly, the prices are usually pretty good and they do their best to help.

Not a bad looking store. But I have been trying to buy a co2 pistol and I cant buy one because I have not seen a single employee Both times I have been there. They need more employees on the floor.

CO2 fillIf there was a lower star I would choose that rating. When they came to town all shiny and new. In time the local stores quit supplying. So for about 2 yrs now the only place in town that supplies the service hasn't. Dunham says there machine is broken. Really? Major chain get it fixed! Or maybe there to lazy to train someone to operate the machine. Why sell product if you don't have the accessories.... so the 200.00 worth of equipment bought will be returned. ☹

Spoke to a young man about jr. golf clubs and he was extremely informative and polite! Super impressed how he explained bow I should possibly try a intermediate set for my boy rather than waste the money on the Jr set! Quite refreshing!

Great store. Great selection of camping gear. Fair weapon selection. Fantastic apparel. Great customer service. DO NOT BUY CATERPILLARS BOOTS from here as they are cheaply made.

It’s not by no means what I call a “go to store” for me. I’ve been there a few times and came out with nothing. The customer service is polite when you get their attention. It’s clean and organized.

Not a bad store but I do wish they carried more womens shorts in different lengths instead of all short shorts because not everyone where's them. They need to fix the 100 ceiling leaks throughout the store. Its a pain to have to go find an employee every time you want to try on clothes because they keep dressing rooms locked and even the restrooms omg thats a huge pain. The last time i used the women's restroom was about 2 weeks ago and it smelled like a disgusting gas station restroom, it was so strong smelling of urine I could hardly breath..totally unacceptable! It was the worst! Obviously the female employees there don't care because otherwise it wouldn't be that way. There's buckets all over the store catching all the stops from the ceiling and their signs even have rust on them from the water dripping as well as some merchandise is getting ruined from the rust. They reall need give the women's restroom a deep cleaning it's really bad.

We had a really great experience in the Galesburg store. The salesperson named Tino I believe, was soooo awesome. He helped us to find my son, who has extremely large feet a pair of football cleats at an amazing price and he did not stop until he found what we needed. He really went above and beyond and even gave my son an inspirational speech about football! This is very rare with salespersons nowadays and it really just touched my heart. Also the lady at the checkout counter, Susie was very sweet and pleasant as well. It was an overall perfect experience and we will definitely shop there again. I called the manager Frank later to tell him that he has amazing employees and he was also very pleasant and appreciative! Big ups to the Galesburg store for amazing service. Thanks again guys ♥️

I will NEVER purchase anything from Dunhams again.My husband and son went to their store and found some shoes my son liked.When they walked up to the registers about five girls were standing there chatting and my husband held up my sons shoes they wanted to purchase. They looked at him and continued their conversation. My husband walked out leaving the shoes in the store.He called me and told me the story and me being who I am called the store and asked to speak to a manager. I explained to her what happend and she said she would " look into it." In other words...she didn't care. So I told her I always buy my kids shoes from there but after this poor conversation on the phone and poor customer service we will NEVER shop there again. She goes..." well I'm sorry" I just hung up on her before I blew up.The appropriate response would have been..." I will look into it and if your husband would like to come back I will personally make sure you get the items that you wanted to purchase, I am sincerely sorry." But obviously the manager and the employees of the store have no idea what customer service is. What a disappointment.

Dunham's is a "sports" store that moves into bigger towns but not big enough for a Dick's Sporting Goods. Great if you're looking for college team apparel for the majority of teams. Yeah, they sell other stuff but nothing is really is priced well enough to keep me coming back.

It was terrible called last night asked if they had pro boxing gloves not pro training gloves there is a difference. He told me yes we definitely have them I asked twice to make sure and he said yes . Went there today they only had pro training gloves not pro boxing gloves.
