Great New Dollar General just opened here! They still have a hard time keeping up stocking shelves & they have a smaller space to work with.. BUT this store is located close to our home 🏡!! So convenient, Great Location, Staff always Friendly & AWESOME Low prices!

The employees here are nice and always happy to help. There is a range of products, including medicine, food, home goods, clothing, cleaning supplies, etc. They also accept tender as high as $100 bills. The line is always fast and the carts and baskets make shopping a breeze.

No room but if you don't know they moved to the old video store across from Family dollar and McDonald's on main St. Plenty of room now but watch out for those items on top shelf,,they will fall and hit your head....happened a couple days days ago I was with my husband...bottle of car tire shine. Heads up there.

They do have a lot of items to choose from, a variety of groceries aisles are not made for 2 carts. Someone that's handicapped with a wheel chair would have a hard time getting around in the store, like they almost have to much merchandise not enough aisle room. A little uptown dollar general. Convenient for up town follks.

I have yet to find a Dollar General where you couldn't easily get down each aisle for all of the boxes, messes, merchandise, etc. on the floor and this was certainly no different! I go very INfrequently hoping they will change, but not. So, back to Big Lots and Dollar Tree! One star...just because I'm feeling generous.

The cashier Anna was incredibly helpful as always. She has gone out of her way I'll be finding a new store and always has a smile every time I come in there I will return even though it's not my neighborhood store just because of her

It is a good place to get the things you need for a low price. My only complaint here is that they have a limited selection on some important items. Though you definitely can get some worthwhile deals on alot of everyday items. From trashbags to soap and all manner of Healthcare products.

I was hoping that since this is a bigger building it would be easier for me to get around in. I'm in a wheelchair and the aisle's are still cluttered. There is always stock left in the middle of the aisle and is difficult to maneuver around at times.

No public restrooms, the store its self is a conjumbled mess and i do not think ive ever seen a smile on an employees face. How ever their gatorades and other drinks are very cold!

General Dollar downtown Galesburg Illinois does not have too much of anything as any other General Dollar store would have and I think that is so wrong because they need to have the same thing as everybody else when you go in there and you want thousand island dressing they don't have it go in there you want to to find something that you want and they don't have it means you got to go someplace else so they're not helping a consumer that's a customer they don't ask the customer what would you like us to get

The staff do not wear masks, even though there are signs saying everyone must wear a mask. This makes me uncomfortable and I won't shop here again.

Good downtown location for getting basic hygiene, pharmacy and household items at a low cost. I find it to be a convenient alternative to driving to Walmart or Henderson St. for basic needs.

Needs updated, front door area is a complete mess. Beverage vendor and employee receiving right inside front area, which is already a tight, cluttered mess

Lousey place to shop-The one on west fremont-Thier staff are lousey and watch you like a hawk and they are rude-Wont shop there again-Will shop family dollar-
