I just wanted to take a moment and give a shout-out to the closing crew on 5/7. They could have grumbled or even refused to make my order as I got to the order screen right at 9:59, and I would have completely understood, but instead they made my 4 items with a smile. This simple act of kindness was more appreciated than normal because my family had gone through a terrible loss just that morning when a family member passed. She loved her sweets especially ice cream so it felt fittingto make a stop and grab treats for the family, butbwith thw stressful events of the day time completely got away from us. This may not be your typical review, but I just really wanted to thank the crew and point out an act of kindness that won't soon be forgotten

It's one of the cleanest and finest places in town. I love DQ since my childhood. Their Ice-cream and Ice cream cakes are delicious and amazing. They are very hygienic. The food I get is hot all time.

You have to wait until they make every car in drive thrus orders before they will take an order from the long line of people in the lobby. Gave them another chance and got this banana in my banana split. Still went back tonight. Daughter wanted ice cream at the last minute. They close at 9:30 got there at 9:10, two cars there and menu board on yet no one would answer.

We had a great time! The ice cream cakes were plentiful. One Oreo cookie cake was purchased for the Fourth of July festivities. Of course we had to have twist cones and a sundae. The 3 of us enjoyed our time together.

This is the absolute worst Dairy Queen I've ever experienced. It is definitely worth driving across town to go to the other DQ. My order is never right, the ice cream is always runny and they are inevitably out of something I want to order. Today I ordered two blizzards, one was completely wrong and runny. Their menu is outdated which leads to a lot of last minute order switching only confusing them further. Completely not worth waiting in line twenty minutes for.

Ordered and it was very hard to understand the gentleman taking orders. Drive around to pay and get order another guy hard to understand anything he was saying at all.Need to speak English cause I don't speak Islam.

Horrible service!! The parking lot was covered in ice, with only a few clear spots here and there. It was so bad, the car started sliding after I put it in Park and let go of the brakes. I almost fell getting out of the car. When I told the kid inside, (yes, he was just a kid) all he said was "yeah" and nodded his head. He looked pretty young, so maybe it was his first job and nobody explained to him about customer service, but this is just common sense, public safety stuff. It doesn't take a genius to figure it out. The next guy I talked to said he'd get somebody on it, so I went to the bathroom and came back to get my food. When I went back outside, it hadn't been touched. I guess they really don't care. And the first kid I talked to put fries on my order, AFTER I asked for cheese curds.

Drive thru was backed up so my great nephew asked if we could go in and order. He was celebrating last day of school with treating himself and me to DQ with his birthday gift card. We went in to an empty lobby. We stood at the counter for about 8 minutes. Finally someone looked at us and said "just a minute". It took several more minutes to come over to the counter and take our order. By that time 3 more small groups came in behind us. She took their orders before making our ice cream order. When we were finally handed our ice cream without a word to either of us she turned his blizzard up side down and then shoved it at him. I did not know they were supposed to do that but it upset me thinking it would get spilled, as rushed as she did it and not saying a word as she did it, upset me, and it barely had any topping on it because the top of the blizzard was just plain ice cream. I ordered a crunch cone. It was AGAIN handed to me hurriedly, and barely any crunch topping on it. I was very upset that what was to be a happy experience for my great nephew and me turned out to be a sad and unpleasant experience. After all he was quarantined at home for his birthday. He was looking forward to an enjoyable time, with his birthday money gift card. And to top it all off, after we got back in the car, his blizzard got knocked upside down and spilled all over his back pack, the car floor and him. It made me angry. In a time when we all need to be good to each other, this is just one more time when people are being rude and im tired of being the nice one.

Wonderful and thoughtful staff! I'd accidentally left my purse behind and drove 180 miles away before realizing it. I called and these lovely young ppl rescued my bag until we could drive the2.5 hrs back to get it. We walked in and they were all so kind, funny, helpful, and made my very bad situation feel much better. If I owned the store, this would definitely be the staff I'd want to employ! Thanks young ppl for your kindness and professionalism.

Needs a deep cleaning! Sticky bathrooms. hot food is not a priority. I'd understand if it was busy or a large order, but getting ice cream that isn't melted would be a great treat. Not worth stopping.

A 20 minute wait for a to go meal. Very few other customers coming and going. Work flow speed extremely slow. Simple order of 2 burgers, 2 fries and snack wrap. Food was warm not hot off the press for a 20 minute wait. I don't think this is an isolated incident judging from the crew's lack of urgency.

The quart vanilla soft serve i ordered was gritty, not smooth. When it melted, it was like water. Service is very slow at this location for the number of employees they had on duty and wasnt busy.

Ok so these guys seemed to ne on top of thier game. They were quick and friendly. But most importantly,(to me anyway), they allowed me to access the drive thru on my bicycle, where as other fast food places about 300' away would not, which can be a real inconvenience when most of them close thier lobbies due to the virus. And folks like myself who depend on our bicycles for transportation, we really appreciate the businesses that do allow us to do so!Thanks Galesburg DQ!

Great service and the food was delicious! Had lunch and all the food was hot and fresh. The fries were perfect and the blizzard was tasty. Definitely my favorite Dairy Queen. Reagen was very friendly.

We ordered two banana split. The forgot to tell us that they were out of banana until after we paid for our food. We asked for a credit and they said they couldn't. Not a good business practice to charge for something that you don't include.

When you first walk my family and I got hit with smoke from the grease from the fryer.almost twenty minutes later I had to go see where my family's food was at. One of the employees served the blizzard to me. The other employee asked her if she turned it up side down. The server just laughed and said nope. So when I asked another employee about getting a free blizzard for not turning the cup up side down, she stood there smiled and said yup but did not move at all. My son went to get soda but he found black flak's in his cup. I will never go here on main Street dq.

Poor service. Our bill was 8.01. Gave the boy 10.01. Did not give us change. My husband had to honk the horn to get his attention. We told him he did not give us our change. He shut the window and walked away. Later come back and handed us 2.00. He did not say a word. Just glared at us.

The Dairy Queens in Galesburg il were recently sold to new owners. They immediately went down hill. I have tried them a few times hoping it was a fluke but the ice cream is an off white/yellowish color and has no flavor! So disgusting!

Inside completely remodeled and looks great. Food is good plenty of options. Stay away from the pulled beef sandwich though. I ordered that and it was very chewy, actually threw it away after two bites. They should have stayed with the pulled pork. That's the only bad food purchase I've made here.
