Great Service!! 20% Sell Friends and Family! Thank You Big Lot's and the kind staff. Update: I was over charged for a vinegar but they/ he said that they can't do anything about it. So definitely check your receipt 's before leaving the parking lot or store. Also no Premium Water as nothing was on the shelves. Sad situation today. That's one reason I have not been there in a long time.

This store is a delight if you enjoy searching for things like you're in an Iowa fleamarket. There's a whole lotta no if you're searching for specific things, but if your up for browsing.... you're in for a treat. We always find interesting food items. This day, I was on the hunt for a very large bag of himilayan pink salt for husband. The forces aligned and it was there. Prices are good on most of the randomness. Little shocked to see Christmas displays in Sept. Pretty soon the new Christmas season will start on Dec 26th! 😆

The aisles were crowded with boxes of merchandise and carts. Terrible ! Good selection of grocery products. Mostly friendly people working there, some not so much!

Dean was very helpful with taking care of a transaction I had, with a rather large purchase. He went above and beyond to explain the stores policies and made sure I got the best price. Very helpful store. This is the 2nd couch purchase I had here and very happy with both transactions and my purchases. Would highly recommend them!

Found a few microwaves on the bottom shelf at the back wall and they were decent price so we carried it all the way up front to the counter. And for some reason there was ink all over it and my daughter skin was Staind blue. It rang up different so they they went and checked on the price and they said all the boxes of microwaves were in the wrong area and that was not the price. So I'm still looking for a good holiday price for a microwave now

They offer large variety of food. They have vegan items at reasonable prices I cant find anywhere else. In the past years they seem to have decreased selling more household items which I liked them for.

This store has changed so much for the better I think most of it is because they have good management but they also have pleasant employees whenever I'm in there. Other stores could take lessons from them. The women's restroom has always been clean since they remodeled store. Nice place to shop!

Look for the clearance priced items. Off season you'll get great deals. Better quality than $1 store on most things but not as much as name brand. Furniture, houseware, patio, toys, and shelf stable food are all appropriately priced. I am surprised at how reasonable some things are in comparison to other stores

Rob a worker there was extremely rude at checkout the people I was there there with used a voucher from the state and I was waiting to pay for my items .he sent everyone eto the other line to checkout and when I asked if I should go to the other line he told me I don't care what you do I'm trying to run this through the system I said ok I just wanted to checkout like everyone else he was Soo rude very dissatisfied. I gave it two stars because some of the items and prices were good .

Big Lots has a little bit of everything. I like the selection and shopping there. Some things are not the best quality but you get what you pay for. Love their extra 20% off almost everything in the store several times a year.

The store is getting more items everyday it seems, bad part is it takes up more room so the isles are really thin and hard to navigate, good deals if your lucky😉

Some item pricing comparable to Target & Wal-Mart, most pricing in all reasonable. Check on out-dates for perishables though, sometimes have short out-dates. But then, they do specialize in "store closing" buy-outs.

Just walked out of big lots in galesburg. I had a cart full of items after spending about 30 minutes in there shopping. They only had 1 cashier with a needy and difficult customer. I was the only other person in line. Cashier kept calling for help with customer's questions. The other salesperson would come up, answer question and go back to stocking shelves. I finally left when no one could open another register. I shop there all the time and has continually declining with untrained cashiers. Will probably not go back

I have always liked Big Lots! They have an amazing assortment of a wide variety of items. This visit gave me some great after Christmas bargains! I will return!!

Furniture is cheaply made. Learned the hard way. Recently renovated so it is much cleaner and bigger than before. Aisles are too narrow. Can't fit two carts side by side in an aisle so someone ends up having to back out. Merchandise is reasonable, but you get what you pay for. Best deals would be on food items
