I've had multiple family and personal pets receive care here throughout the years. Most recently, a new puppy was the latest visit. The overall feel of the building is nice and well laid-out. But more importantly the care and consideration given by the staff has always been a great experience for both the animals and I.Always recommended!

They are wonderful here. Kind, compassionate, just wonderful. I have 3 dogs and one just crossed the rainbow bridge yesterday. The staff here were extremely supportive and kind to me during this difficult time. I cannot thank them enough for their kindness and support. The vets are amazing here, they don’t push products on you, the techs are great, and the office staff is awesome. I really lucked out in finding these guys.

They are always very good to listening , sharing , courteous and kind, patient . they pay attention to details and work with you to give the best care. Ive been with this company since 1974 and all my pets4 cats 7 dogs have been with the kind of doctors assistance you want to be able to depend on to love your pets like they would love theirs. They are a gem. Thank God for their sincere kindness.

I called close to closing time & was welcomed in because my dog was in distress. They painstakingly assessed her, treated, updated a needed vaccine. Needless to say I felt better going into a weekend & knowing there wasn’t going to be an emergency!

Most staff are welcoming and kind. Attention to detail is excellent. Dr. took her time with Zelda and was very gentle. I also had occasion to go to Animal Med Center in an emergency situation. Was taken care of immediately by caring staff.

In from out of town and our girl had a UTI. they got us in within the hour on a saturday. Staff was helpful; Dr. Murdock was great, very informative, kind, and generous with her time; and lab cost was about 1/2 the price of the clinic we called first because of the number of good reviews they had. Would recommend Dr. Murdock, hands down.

We’ve always had Animal Medical Center care for our dogs and have the utmost faith in the Drs. there. Dr Murdock is very caring and compassionate and knows exactly what to do to ease our Lakeland Terrier’s anxiety during his visits. 😊

Dr Murdock was amazing. She seemed to have a lot of knowledge and experience with the issues my cat is having. She was also very gentle with her. I would recommend her 100%.

My husband and I happily take our little Miss Marple to Animal Medical Center. The front desk staff is kind and greets us when we arrive. They have gotten us in last minute when we need it and are great about booking visits ahead of time too! When Miss Marple was only 9 weeks old, she was suddenly very sick. We called the emergency number and Dr. Pete met us there after hours, was kind and made sure our little girl was okay/got the treatment she needed. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a caring vet =)

We've been going to the Animal Medical center since it was opened. It's always been the best in town. In 2013 when it changed ownership we were a little concerned but that feeling was placed to rest with the very first meeting with Dr. Pete. He is a class act in every aspect. His knowledge and abilities are the best I've ever seen I grew up assisting in a multi-doctor vet clinic. Dr. Pete has a genuine care for the animals and they in turn respond well to him. He spends a very very generous amount of time with the pet owner each visit and always leaves you feeling very comfortable with the care received and the options available. We are lucky to have him in this area. Dr.Pete and his wife have exceeded our expectations in every area and we did not think that was possible. The rest of the staff also is caring and always attentive and polite. We could not be happier with the Animal Medical Center.

I was Totally impressed with Animal Medical Center. The front desk staff was kind and welcoming. Dr. Baysinger was so good at her work! Smart, gentle with my dog, knew exactly what he needed; recommended a shot I was thinking he didn't need. She explained that my dog could acquire this sickness simply by sniffing another dog's urine. So I was glad she explained that, & I accepted that shot. Lastly, I was actually surprised how reasonable the total bill was; and the girls at checkout went over what was done before I paid. I liked that..That was my first visit, but not my last. I will know that my boy has people looking out for him. That's comforting.

The staff & Dr's are very friendly and helpful. My cat was very ill & needed emergency surgery, they did the surgery and allowed me to work out payments. I want to thank them for saving my fur baby & their top notch work/professionalism.I'm embarrassed this wasn't my 1st call but always will be from here on. Highly Recommend

Angus (Old English Bulldogge), Zoe and Lizzy (adopted from Guardian Angles) all get the best of care at Animal Medical Center. Bulldogs have health issues, so we are frequent visitors. It's obvious that everyone there loves animals and Angus loves them as well. I wouldn't dream of taking them anywhere else.

We moved here about a year ago with our precious dog Mia Mia has a lot of health issues and Dr. Basinger has taken the best care of her. She also saved her life with emergency surgery for a ruptured spleen. I think one of the best things we have found in Galesburg is Animal Medical Center.

Always kind, compassionate and considerate of my 2 English Bulldogs and Shih Tzu, they will work diligently to get to the root of the problem and give you treatment options. My dogs love going there, and I can’t imagine taking them anywhere else!

I've now been going to the Animal Medical Center for a year and love it. The staff is full of people who are kinda and knowledgeable. The two doctors have been great with my dog. Explaining what they needed to and answering any further questions I have. The prices are very reasonable for both medication and appointments. I have never felt as thought they were trying to squeeze extra money from me by suggesting unnecessary tests or procedures. I wouldn't even mention that except I've heard of it happening from friends outside of this area. They always seem to have good appointment times available, and their staff has this uncanny ability to keep appointments from overlapping and turning their waiting room into a dog park. I have nothing but good things to say about them and would recommend them to everyone looking for a trusted veterinarian.

We have been nothing but pleased with the care we have received for our VERY energetic, 2 year old chocolate lab. They are patient, thorough and are great to answer any questions we may have. They take the time and energy to make sure he is safe and gets complete care even on a full, busy day. He sees Dr Cassandra Murdock most often, but Dr Christen Plescia saw him most recently and she was also fantastic! Great group of people all the way around!

Had to take Aspen in for her yearly checkup and it couldn't have come at a worse time. Right before the shelter in place. Vet tech was amazing, she came out to the car to get Aspen and then three more times with questions. They took excellent care of my dog and were taking steps to protect humans as well.

All of the staff are amazing and so helpful. I have never had an issue getting my dog medical attention here. I love that they have an emergency number to call after hours. You can tell that every single staff member loves their job and I know they treat my dog like their own.

I had my rescue border collie spayed and they were very professional and kind. When we needed a vet a few months later for a injury requiring surgery I didnt hesitate to call them. For that appointment we were scheduled quickly and they were professional answered all my questions and I would highly recommend them for anything that might come up with your pets needs.

We have a old man that is going through some tuff times. Dachshunds can be very stubborn. They are very caring and understanding with his attitude. At this same time they help my niece with her new puppy to get the care he needed and saved him from hook worm that we had no idea he had. Thank you to all for everything.

Our dog needed emergency surgery and we were so fortunate to be able to connect with Dr. Baysingar via the after hours emergency number! We are so thankful for her care and expertise. We had a wonderful experience at the Animal Medical Center. We can’t thank her enough for saving our dog!!

Will not ever go back. Dog treated for uti 4/25; paid full bill. Brought back urine specimen on 5/10; paid full bill. Just received a bill for the same urinalysis, dated day of service 6/1. But the dog was euthanized elsewhere because of declining health following visits to this vet center -- on 5/31! The dog was already dead a day at this last day of service! The office manager works short hours three days a week, only, making contact even more difficult in this already painful situation.

We have always had good luck with the current staff at AMC with our multiple pets. They have diagnosed rare issues and taken care of late night and weekend emergencies on more than one occasion, or fit us in on a Saturday appointment for less emergent problems. I trust them to give them the best treatment!

Dr. Pete and Dr. Kristen and their team are awesome! Highly recommend them. I transferred to them after waisting time and money at another local vet with no diagnosis. Took my dog to Animal medical center and they diagnosed on the first visit. They have my business for life!
