We have been with Ted Frits for as long as he has been with the Freeport office. Have never had a bad experience. Recently hit a deer with our car. Reported it to Ted's agency and it was handled professionally and very timely. Had a check for the repairs within a week.

I have been going to Ted Frits State Farm for a LONG time. Service has always been immediate and professional, and I have worked with several people throughout the years.An interesting thing about their location is that they never have moved, rather, have made continual upgrades, and their office is very modern, with ample off-street parking (ADA compliant!)Wilbur Park is behind them. Happy Wok is in front of them. McDonald's across that street, and Butitta Automotive next door, all without crossing Galena Ave. Or, cross Galena, and there is Lincoln Mall (Dollar General, Children's Hands On Museum, Voices...) Also, Big Apple Restaurant and CVS.I think people forget about all of these businesses and how close they are. It beats walking across a Walmart parking lot!Plus, you won't find great insurance coverage there!

State farms new way of settling claims seems to be getting alot faster and alot less stressful!!!!I haven't had to use insurance to often...and was absolutely dreading that I needed to file a claim from a storm that caused damage to our car.But...I went into State Farm the very next day to show them the damages. Also, I took it to a body shop so both parties had the same information.I received a call from Ted the very next day telling me they had the check waiting for me already!I highly recommend Ted Frits and State Farm for the hassle free time in a time of being worried about getting our car repaired! The State Farm Office of Ted Frits has been helpful to us in many ways. We weren’t sure how to proceed with a claim after our car was hit but Ted’s office was able to help us. We also needed help with a hail claim on our house several times and again they helped us get started. Lynn and Danny explained using the beacon in our cars with the Drive Safe & Save program. What a pleasant surprise we had when the premium came and it was considerably lower because of the program. We wouldn’t have even tried the program without their input. We’ve been with this office for many years and highly recommend Ted and his staff. And thanks for the yearly calendars too!

Ted, thank you for your help in my recent encounter when a lady hit my parked car. She filed a police report (still some honest people around) and I got a copy of the report, stopped by your office and you gave me directions on how to handle this, where to go for estimates for repairs etc. You contacted the lady and she dropped off a check to cover my damages. (She did not want to go thru her insurance co). You gave the check to me, I had the car fixed and everything happened very smoothly. Thank you for your service.

When I was rear-ended, they helped me through the entire process. They had my truck hauled to the shop before I was even off the phone with the claims department. they made reservations at Enterprise for me all I had to do was show up and pick up my rental and when I had questions about the process the local agent agreed to contact me on a regular basis and keep me updated. I even had a personalized website where I could keep running tabs on what was going on with my claim. They made the process easy.

Their slogan "like a good neighbor" holds true for Ted Frits' State Farm. When we had hail damage to our house back in April, our State Farm really took care of us by processing our claim quickly and covering us for all new siding. My wife has been with State Farm for all of her adult life and relationship and trust has been built. My wife and I tend to keep State Farm because of this. Ted Frits is a good guy and he watches our back.

I had a deer hit on a Sunday night and on Monday morning went into the office to report it and then onto the body shop for the estimate. That same afternoon I received an email from Janae that my check was ready to be picked up, so I did that and then went to the body shop and set up an appointment for repairs. Less than 24 hours after my accident Janae and Ted had my claim handled!! Great customer service!!
