Has some pretty big issues with this place the last week. Had originally scheduled appointments for both of my dogs on 3/9/24 , I scheduled one for in the morning and one in the afternoon as I didn't see any slots together. I ended up getting a text from Sabrina asking if I wanted them together at 1:30 instead, I replied yes that would be great and assumed that she has scheduled both dogs for then. Later in the week I ended up getting a text for the original time slots I selected so I called them and told them that I received a text from them about getting them both groomed at 1:30 and was seeing if that's what was going on, the woman I spoke with on the phone said yes that works and before I hung up I know for a fact that I confirmed it was for 1:30. Well I end up getting a phone call from them at 12:00 on 3/9/24 saying I missed my appointments for them and asking if I wanted to reschedule. I told the woman I spoke with that they were supposed to be scheduled for 1:30 she apologized for the inconvenience and rescheduled for today. Well, fast forward to today I guess I made the mistake of assuming they would look at the appointments I originally booked and just booked them for the same thing. Which was the senior pet package for one, and a full service groom (includes cut)for the other. My boyfriend shows up with both dogs and they claimed they didn't realize the one was supposed to get a cut, but they would do it anyways. Then as I come to pick them up, they say they couldn't do the cut because he was too hyper (which is fine I guess) and the other clearly didn't get the senior pet package that I wanted for her, nor did it show on the bill that's what was booked. Also was supposed to receive a discount for the last inconvenience and didn't see that on the bill either. Don't think I'll be going back to that place.

Our sweet doggie went in for a full spa day for Christmas and McKayla went above and beyond. Best grooming I've had yet. Definitely have found our forever groomer ❤️

Highly recommend! My pups love coming to shop for treats. The groomers are amazing too. My cats and dogs come in frequently for spa days. ♥️

Nice, clean, friendly and courteous staff. I couldn't ask for much more from them. We travel the country with our K9 companions and have used PPS for their pet washes in 4 states now. I can say that I haven't ever really had a poor experience at any location i have visited. Since they sell reptiles, I wish they stocked a larger variety of reptile supplies and frozen feeders and i could probably grab everything I needed in one stop, but it is what it is.Only thing... one of the younger guys that works up front kept turning our wash station off while we were trying to dry our dogs. He was young and trying to do his job, no big deal just a slight annoyance.

Went in the store last night. The sales person Stephanie completely ignored us. We came in for some crickets. Couldn't find help anywhere. Finally the cashier came and let her know we needed help. After watching us stand around next to her. I heard her giving misinformation about bearded dragons.(no bearded dragon that little is eating 10 crickets a day) Clearly they have no training with animals. Ferret cage was FILTHY. While she stood around and played with cats. Dead fish in the tanks. Under staffed. Cashier had 4 people in line, still took the time to explain and answer my questions. Only 2 people I saw actually working. Cashier and a man stocking. Would rate lower but the other staff redeemed the store.

Glad Freeport finally has a pet store again! The associates were friendly and offered to help carry a heavy bag of cat litter to my car. Good variety of supplies too!

Purchased some fish now I've got a big ICK issue I've lost 4 fish in my tank this is a established tank tank that's been up and running for a long time never had a issue until I added your fish won't buy no more from you !!!!!

Always out of thing you need and get told they dk when the trucks coming in well we got animals to feed I know it’s not entirely there fault but get it together your the only pet store around I don’t want to travel to Rockford to get stuff but will if I have to

Long story short, I purchased a tube uvb on Monday, went to exchange it Tuesday because it was very dim and flickering when they had none in stock I was told to go back in today to see if they had gotten any in stock. I sent my son in today who bought the one and only they had in stock. It was the SAME EXACT ONE I RETURNED ON MONDAY! I told them that it wasn't working properly and instead of doing the right thing and at minimum testing it out, they taped where I had ripped a little bit on the box and put it back on the shelf! Not only does it upset me that my reptile has had to go so long without a uvb and the fact that I waisted so much time but it also shows that this store doesn't care enough about the animals that they are supplying things for to remove it from stock. Also, they had the same dead beta fish out today that they had out on Monday! Very very sad that this store is operating in the manner they are! I will not be doing business at this store in the future!
