I have shopped at the Freeport Joann Fabric Store for as long as it has been in town, but the experience I had today at the store left me angry and mad. The clerk who waited on me at the register acted indifferent and aloof as though I was not important enough to wait on. Joann coupons are sometimes difficult to figure out, which ones you can use, which ones won't work on what you have purchased, etc. But this clerk was not interested in helping me pick out the coupons to use. Any other time I have used coupons, other clerks are more than happy to point out the correct ones. Not MISSY, that was her name. Missy decided to declare to me that she couldn't look at my phone or printed ad "there are people waiting in line behind you". That is what she said. Now, I have worked retail and that was not something that you say to the customer you are helping. She made me feel that the other customers behind me in line were more important than I was. I was always taught that you help the person right in front of you, and especially since I spent over $60 today. If ever I decide to enter that store again, I will make sure that I don't let Missy wait on me again. I will walk out instead, which is what I should have done at the register. What a terrible company representative she is, If she doesn't want to be there, she should not be there.I hope that someone in charge sees this post and talks to that girl. She needs to take a course in customer service.I have always enjoyed shopping at Joann's and all other clerks in that store are always friendly and helpful. I have never had anyone else in there treat me like she did. What a disappointment...

Lady gave me advise on something that she knew nothing about when I clearly knew what I was doing and simply ignored me and told me it was a dumb idea said thanks for the help and walked out.

Lots of clearance items to good to pass up. Great smelling pinecones for adding holiday cheer were 2 4 1. Now our home smells like the holiday's cinnamon & apple scented pinecones.Just set them on the heating vents and wow, give it a try. Happy holiday's! 2020

I make handmade jewelry, so Joann's is a stop I make frequently in town. They have a decent selection of supplies and materials I look for on a regular basis, but it doesn't change much. I'd like to see some new inventory in their bead collection area.

Very helpful, but they lacked the items I needed. Ordered online for my craft. Was told it would be 2 days, and it would be here. It took a week, so I went to Michael in Rockford to get my stuff.

Great help from the staff helping me find what I needed, even though I didn't know what it was. I described what I wanted to do & they figured out how to do it & what I needed. I never would have figured it out at say, a Walmart style store.

Always happy to help you. Some of the best coupons ever, especially if you dabble in every craft! I have to travel about 30 min. to get to my destination so it's not unusual for me to call first to make sure they have what I'm looking for in stock. Rarely do they let me down.

The curb side service was excellent. We had both of our orders within the minutes of arriving, even though the person who brought then out had to go back to get the second order ( not her fault at all).

The staff was very friendly and helpful. They made sure I got the best price possible by telling me about coupons available on their app. Be sure to download the app before your next visit. There were a lot of decor and craft items on clearance as well. The store was very clean.

Such a fabulous store!!! Our local JoAnns is located in Freeport, Il. They are nice, knowledgeable and always willing to help!!!! I do wish the troubles of getting products wasn't hurting our store. The shelves are quite empty most days, but it's still a great store with helpful and kind associates!! They are still struggling with getting products. It makes me sad. I'm ready for everything to go back to normal and have our local store be the amazing shopping spot it's always been!!!Things seem to be getting better. There's more products these days!! We have the nicest associates!!! JoAnns is the BEST place for Christmas ornaments!!! Oh, and holiday socks!!!!!!!!! Not to mention, great jewelry!!!!! So grateful for kind and helpful associates!!!!

Joann's in Freeport I seem to usually find what I need. It has a little bit of everything you might need for crafts and or hobbies. The clerks are always friendly and go the extra when I've asked for assistance.

The shelves are often bare. The Sterling and the Rockford stores are well stocked. JoAnn's had a big Christmas sale announced. When I arrived at 7 am for the 70% off, they had very little inventory. I have been going to this store for over 30 years and it was my happy place. I am really disappointed.

Staff is friendly and somewhat knowledgeable. Selection is good for the size of the store. This location was completely new in the last couple years, so everything is bright, clean, and well organized, even though I find some of the aisles rather cramped.

I love this place but the social distancing was not followed by customers. Employees did a great job. But customers went in without masks and there was no one to enforce the COVID-19 guidelines.

I love going to JoAnn Fabrics. The old one was great and the new one is amazing. "Craft" is too small a word for the full range of products one finds here. I've gotten expert advice on projects too. If you're looking for assistance, just ask.

My mother in law and wife love this place. It has everything you can imagine for arts and crafts, sewing, knitting and just about everything think else. Staff is wonderful and very knowledgeable. You never feel out of place.

I was not happy, I found some jell pens that I wanted to buy. But there was no sales person around to help. They all had lick tabs on them so you needed a sales person to get them for you.
