This used to be my favorite store over on this side of town but since they've gotten new employees and Management It seemed to go down hill very bad customer service every single time I've been in there. It just feels like they're so stressed out to do their job and ring me up kinda annoying. It also wouldn't hurt to hire a couple more employees to help out there will be Literally nobody in the store and I'm standing waiting for employee to come. Bring me up every time and never fails. I see it's a guy the new self check out. But that doesn't help when you need to buy a cigarette.

This store has been open almost two months. It is a disaster and should be an embarrassment to the company. Carts of merchandise still in the boxes line the aisles making them impassable especially to customers with disabilities. when you ask for help, you get told that they don’t even know where the items are, and maybe you will find one item on the shelf. several of the staff are very rude while there are a few that try the best they can. I don’t understand how a store that has only been open. A couple of months can look like this but use the just opened excuse. I have to avoid shopping there to avoid panic attacks and feeling like I don’t deserve to shop but then again when I look at it this way it seems that there attitude is that nobody deserves to shop there. The manager bags that she has worked for the company for over 20 years and she never seems to be managing the store. When I asked about this I was told she was grandfathered in. I don’t know what that means to me as a consumer but I know that to the store and the company it sure sounds like they are selling themselves short, I have also shopped at the store in Elizabeth and it is nowhere near or shoppable as it used to be. Why would a company allow their stores to portray these messages?

I was headed to the check out and they told me their closed 2mins before 9, everything was different from the last time I was in there..The staff were rude, I get people were ready to leave but that's no excuse to be rude to customers who have a little difficulty getting around. They'll never get my business again.

I don't know what happened to this dollar general cause it used to be very nice in there and was the one I Would always go to but that store is BOGUS now! Stuff all over the floors in the aisles, boxes everywhere, just messy! It's super disappointing

Very good handicapped parking, right at the sliding doors. Nice and friendly working people there to help you with all your shopping needs. Its one of my favorite stores to shop at.

I always love shopping here. The cashiers are friendly and welcoming, however the store is usually really cluttered and unorganized. That's why I gave a 4 star rating.

I usually love this store it's super close to me and convenient but for a couple months now the parking lot looks like a town dump, it's a mess and I reached in one of the boxes and there was a big piece of class that cut me. It'll be a while till I shop there again

General James Luther Turner sure knew what he was doing when he built this company with his bare hands in 1939 after his military career came to an end. The company has been passed down in the family through the generations, and is now run by his grandson General Hurley Calister Turner II. Good job General James Luther Turner, your legacy lives on.

Dollar General is one of my favorite shops anyway but this one stands out! Even when things are crazy, this particular location seemed to have everything I needed and then some. Friendly staff too!

Quick stop for everything u need the only bad thing is people park in fire lane making hard for a handicap person in get in.
