We went thru the drive-thru and when we got some of our food, the girl said, thank yo, come again. Hubby told her we were missing the chicken strip basket to which she replied, let me look in that bag, which only contained my hubby's banana split. We felt like she was accusing us of trying to get free food!! What the hell?! We only wanted what we paid for, wasn't expecting to made feel like damn thieves!!I don't think we'll be back there again. Will most likely pay more at Culver's but won't be treated like this ever again!!!

Waited a while but that wasn’t the worst part, I order a turtle pecan cluster and the lady asked me “you mean “turtle pecan” even though on the sign says “cluster” but whatever. Get to the window and that’s where I waited a while, they made my drink messy so they put an extra cup over it instead of just cleaning the sides up. So if you don’t know when they tip it upside down in front of you and it falls out you get it for free well the lady tipped it upside down for me but she put a lid on it 🤦🏼‍♀️ what was the point then? Than decided to tell me to not tip it upside down cause it could fall out.. alright than👍🏼

I only gave them one star because they were super kind when taking my order. Will never eat here again first off let’s start by how it’s been 3 hours since I ate and I’m extremely sick now with diarrhea and throwing up. Can’t stop being sick when I was perfectly fine until about 1 hour after eating this food. Then let’s talk about how I paid $33 for two meals that’s absolutely nuts. First and last time eating food from Dairy Queen. Very disappointed.

I called the Freeport d q and a person answer the phone with just a hello I asked to speak to the manager and this person stated that they're the manager ( I asked her why they just answered the phone with just a hello and they gave me an excuse that something is wrong with the phone lines or I didn't hear her properly and I know what I heard very unprofessional ? I asked them why their salad bowls didn't have much lettuce in the salad bowl and at first they were giving me this excuse that there's a difference between corporate owned and independent owned just an excuse I went to Rockford and eat at the Dairy Queen by Cherryvale Mall and ordered a salad bowl and that salad bowl was filled completely with lettuce and was very delicious. If this manager can't answer the phone in a professional way then I understand why I didn't receive much lettuce at all.i also feel that this manager should start over seeing the employees on how the food is prepared. I now understand why this restaurant has so many bad reviewsthe owner of Freeport DQ I suggest that you spend some time in your business and also train your employees how to properly answer a phone and you should train your manager some management skills. For the amount of money I paid for the salad wasn't worth it.I'll be happy to return to McDonald's or the other fast food restaurants.

Very disappointed in our visit. Ordered a blizzard and a shake, got to the window and the girl handed our order out but never did the upside flip on the blizzard! Pulled away from window to discover that the blizzard was just a soupy mess!!! If they had flipped it over the whole thing would have poured out! This was a mess! No napkins, the cup had melted ice cream running all down the sides. This has not been the first time that we got this kind of service. Very disappointed!!!

Great food. Great service. I ordered 5 meals, and the service is so good I had it on my table ready to eat before I even had my billfold back in my pocket. Piping hot, delicious, and served by a team of smiling and polite workers. Can't say enough good about tjis DQ.

The regular workers were polite and efficient, but they were very short staffed, so the service was slow. I can understand why since the managers were rude. One even went so far as to chastise an employee right in front of the customers. No wonder there is always a Now Hiring sign flashing on the side of the building. I sure wouldn't work there.

Curious what a transaction fee is on my receipt? Do they charge for a credit card? Everytime I order a cone or without cone and in a cup, they never are the same size, no standardization between employees and is very disappointing for a customer. I got a medium twist once, next got a large which really is just double the size of the cone. Today I ordered a large twist in a cup and was definitely not a large, it was less ice cream than the medium I got about a month earlier.

While Dairy Queen serves the same kind of food in just about every location, I am not very happy with the outrageous prices this place charges for food. Dairy Queen is a classic fast food joint but when it comes to breaking the bank for something that is supposed to be quick and simple, there are other more affordable places to go. Good food, yes, but not for those prices.
