Has variety of products in organized fashion. Refrigerated and frozen food items, fresh vegetables and household products are in supply. Self check out or cashier makes it a quick trip. Household decor better than any other area DG and is visually pleasing due to how well organized they keep the store. Convenient location too!

Good place for shopping and they try to keep steadily on stocking up. Friendly people. Masked employees. Clean store . Great little towns people. Frequently go to the store. Limited numbers of people to enter for social distancing customers. Signs are posted on foors as you enter.

The store is decent but the manager in the morning needs to be checked. Her attitude sucks. If she has something to say she can say her problem instead of giving dirty looks and a tone like a teenager. Feel bad for her employees that have to deal with that for a whole shift, 5 minutes was enough for me. Won’t be back anytime soon.

Worst store I've been to in this area and that's including new Athens which is terrible too! But this place never has any associates to help with checking out issues! I stood waiting for 10 mins and never saw a worker! This place is a joke! Corporate needs to do better.

I realize that you don’t see an employee right away, this is because they’re busy stocking the empty shelves. They are easy to locate, if you’re too bashful to call out. Lol. I’m a regular here at this location, and was a regular when they were across the street. I’ve been shopping with them for many years, and so far I’m happy with them. Both services, and quality. I’ve interacted with nearly all of the employees here, and most of them have gone above and beyond to help me with whatever I need.Not at all like another department store that many ppl go to for many daily needs!! DG may have self checkout, but not to the degree as the other store I referenced. The store where if you ask for help, you’re either ignored or sneered at.DG is the opposite, the employees are all busy, cuz they’re working!! Putting items on shelves, so you can find them!! If you still have a problem, they’ll stop what they’re doing to help you find whatever you’re looking for!! They do all of this, without giving you an attitude!!Well I think I’ve said enough. I’d recommend this store to friends and family!! ( but most of them alrdy shop here!! lol)

If I could I would not put a star at all. The woman that was working was not helpful, she gave me and my father additud, also didn't take the time to help when the self check wasn't taking our payment. I will never go back there again.

When I came into your store to shop .I could not get my cart down the isles.had to leave my cart on side of isle to get my cleaning supplies and other things.customers not very friendly. I worked at dollar General for 5 yrs and it never changes .They need to hire staff to stock at night and focus on helping customers during the day.

Older lady employee got rude because we asked her to come to register to ring us up so she decided to be rude and make me feel horrible for asking an employee who works there for help honesty ridiculous

I guess it's just about the same as every Dollar general I've ever been to. like other locations I always make sure to stop and get the jalapeno popper cheese puffs by Herrs brand and they're only a dollar. There was no one ahead of me in line and it was another easy experience

This location needs to update their cash registers. When checking out using digital coupons and a debit or credit card it takes a while and holds up the line. Checking DG's inventory online for a particular store is inaccurate. This location has friendly and helpful staff.

Female working at the Freeburg, IL Dollar Store was very rude this morning. I said "Is someone on the register?" And she came up complaining about people being in a hurry and how she hates that and how people like that cause accidents on the roadways....really? I come in there to grab a few things before work and I have to put up with her bitching about doing her job because she has to get to the register and ring me out. Big woman who is evidently paid too much for her services.

The employees are all very nice and helpful...in the store 4 or 5 times a week sometimes don't go to Market Place unless Dollar General doesn't have it...check there first all the time

Needs updated like smaller towns stores this one has a lot of traffic but no produce or bigger grocery coverage. Manager is great just can't get them (Corp) to change it....

Besides Belleville this is the worst DG I have been in. Crowded aisles and understaffed. Could go on but won't. High turn over because of low wages.

There is an app for DG that you can use its digital coupons. Sometimes they beat Walmart prices on TP and PT. Detergents, you can save with coupons on the DG app.

I found some towels that I thought I would never find . All the other places had the big bath towels. I like the smaller one for when I I wash my hair.
