I recently had an exceptional first-time experience at this pet store Pet Paradise Supermarket. Thanks to Javier's invaluable assistance. He is very knowledgeable and helpful, truly impressive. I had concerns about my two furbabies – one with allergies and the other with a sensitive stomach. Javier listened attentively and provided tailored recommendations, helping me choose the best products to address their specific needs. Thanks to Javier's expertise, I left the store feeling confident and satisfied, knowing I had made the right choices for my beloved pets. Also, I got a few free goodies for my furbabies. I found my permanent store. Definitely spreading the word to my family & friends

I decided to stop by the store while waiting to pick up the gf from O’hare. I have her little doggy with, so i decided to give it a bath. I’ve actually never washed a dog before and was nervous because the little one is technically not mine but the manager on hand was very helpful and walked me through the entire process coaching me up the whole way. Even offered an in-store towel to use. I was very grateful for that and now i feel much more comfortable and confident for the next time. The price to wash was very reasonable also. Thanks again for helping me out and i recommend this place for their other services and products too.

Wonderful place to go to if you need pet supplies.. I can’t talk for all animals but for my Pitt bull/boxer (Gotti) the owners have been super helpful and super knowledgeable on providing my dog with the best food, treats, toys, shampoos… my dog was not gaining weight nor was he eating much and they provided me with the best food for his breed… now my dog is gaining the right weight and eating better… they also gave him good treats and toys to keep him busy ( Gotti was chewing my furniture and now he stopped) Thank you guys so much for all you do…. They also me with my bird…

We have recently acquired a dog from my oldest daughter. She has a newborn baby and could not juggle her two dogs and two kids. Lenny, her Silver Labrador Retriever is now living with us. He is family. Pet Paradise is also now our extended family. Javier the owner his Wife and Daughter made us feel right at home. Lenny got his first in house bath which was an awesome experience. Javier jumped right in and taught me how to wash him the correct way. Listened to my concerns about Lenny’s new lifestyle moving forward and offered his help in any way to achieve a healthy life for Lenny. Treats his customers like family for sure. We will now be shopping there and getting Lenny the maintenance care he needs year round. I’m so glad my Daughter and I stopped in there. Going back today to get his birthday present for tomorrow. Lenny will be 3.

I took my dog for her bath at Pet Paradise. The groomers did a fantastic wonderful job with my dog's grooming. The owners Kathy and Javier are so friendly and helped me decide on a better quality food for my dog, they answered all my questions and i have been back several times since then for grooming and for good quality dog food. I highly recommend this place to everyone.

Hands down... Excellent customer service!!!! The owners and staff members are very friendly and knowledgeable. You are always greeted as soon as you walk in. This goes along way because, it makes you feel welcomed. I have been to this store multiple times, and the staff is always happy to assist you with any questions. No matter who's on shift! Kuddos to the owners for properly training their employees. I must say if an item is out of stock they will personally order it for you. Thank you for making my dog and I feel like family. I honestly appreciate it. I look forward to the small talk every visit. As it always brightens up my day! I love your products as well as your dog attire. Keep them coming especially for all my Chihuahua fur babies and mom's. :)

I initially found this place because I was looking for clothing for my little pittie and they were close by. I was greeted with friendly, knowledgeable people who clearly have a love and passion for dogs and animals of all kinds. They gave me a great recommendation for food that was not only healthier than the current choice, it was cheaper as well. They even gave my doggy some treats to sample! They were very nice and helped me to find a sweater that fit her nicely and she loves it to this day. They also have wonderful doggy baked treats, like cupcakes, that are made in-house. My dog goes absolutely bonkers for them. I will definitely be coming here for their grooming services as well.

Owners and employees were super helpful! I just moved to the area and came in looking for dog food. They were helpful with finding something right for my dog while being conscious of my budget and ended up getting something healthier for him than what I was feeding while also paying less. They also had a ton of home cooked treats that my dog loved.Ended up getting my dogs nails trimmed as well. They were very accommodating with my dog who HATES having his paws touched, and the whole process was very quick and easy.I will definitely be a regular here going forward for anything my pets need in the future! They took the time to make sure I had what I needed and answered any questions I had. Overall great experience!

My husband and I were near this store area randomly and we stopped by yesterday hoping to find a selection of healthier and tastier food options for my picky eater pup. My husband, dog, and I were immediately greeted by friendly staff and (presumably) manager or owner. They helped guide us towards better products for our dogs, excitedly shared their knowledge with us, and even gave us some food samples for our dogs to try! We bought some treats our dogs looooove and some cbd products to try as well. We are working on teaching our dog that she doesn’t have to recommend with the environment and say hi all the time— all employees were friendly and polite without riling her up. They knew how to act around dogs (no social pressure or overexcitement) and I appreciate that so much! 10/10 recommend.

updated 4/23/22rescued a dog from a not so great situation. he was severely matted and more than likely never even had a bath/brush before. the grooming took two separate days but evelyn was so patient and kind throughout the whole thing. appreciate her hard work in making sure romulus was knot free and ready for his new life. nico, evelyn and the team are awesome. thank you for everything!photos: before haircut / after second haircut getting probably his first ever bath / after the second haircut / 3 days after the haircut.wide variety of dog food along w/ small animal + cat products. glad to have this store in the neighborhood where i can get all my pet items at one store. great staff who are always welcoming and helpful. prices aren’t bad at all. support small businesses.

I was passing by the store and figured I stop in since I was getting a little low on pet food. Right when I walked in the door I was immediately asked if I needed help finding anything.Nikko was very helpful! Although the store did not have the food I was looking for he went above and beyond helping me find alternatives for my cat with special dietary needs. He recommended products, read the ingredient labels if he was not 100% sure, and even tried reaching out to his suppliers to try to get the food I was looking for. After I found some products to try out Nikko even spent some time talking about his own pets. You can tell he took pride in not only his pets, but his job.Being a smaller store (compared to places like Petco) I expected slightly higher prices, but the pricing was very competitive! (And I think you get more for your money given the amazing customer service).They offered a variety of products... Cat food, cat litter, cat toys, dog food, dog toys, dog/cat clothes, some small animal items (hamster wheels), and some aquarium items.Overall, I HIGHLY recommend this store. It is organized, clean, has great customer service, and competitive prices. My cat was a very happy customer! He could not wait to see what I came home with. I will be back! Thank you!

Beware of the dangers of feeding your dog a grain free diet. There seems to be a connection between grain-free diets and dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM). The owner didn’t make us aware of the dangers when he approached us. I personally know someone who had to put their dog down because of this issue. The dog was 5yrs old on a grain free diet. The owner paid a premium for dog food thinking he was doing the right thing. It turns out the food was making his dog ill and his beagle was euthanized due to a serious heart condition. Disclose the”benefits”of your dog food AND the dangers of your products. Being in the pet industry, you must of known the stories of DCM and grain free diets. Disclose it!

This is the best pet store i ever been to. As soon as you walk in you are being greeted and helped by someone. The variety of food is amazing and its all of the best quality you can think of. They are great at explaining any questions you have. The lady that washed my kitten was the nicest and very gentle with him. This is definitely not the last time i will be coming here! I recommend this place to anyone with pets! Literally any kind of pet you have they have the food and toys for!! I love this place so much, im so happy i live right next to it! It looks small but once you go inside its huge!! Ive never written a review for any place but this one really means a lot to me! the people there are the sweetest. Zero (my kitty) had an amazing time here!

Pet Paradise is the absolute BEST!!!!Our puppy loves going to visit, she gets a beautiful grooming, delicious food/treats and so much love from the team there!! They truly care about you and your pet by taking time to get to know you. Brought my puppy dog Spark here for the first time since we adopted him from an animal shelter recently, honestly best experience I've had and I don't usually write reviews. Knowledgable friendly people, amazing pet supplies even the food brand he eats! They treated my dog with kindness and so much love and affection. He was super happy afterwards, jumping around everywhere, got a special treat, and smelled and looked amazing! Big shout out and thank you! I highly recommend this shop! We just moved to the neighborhood from Chicago and didn't want to drive back to the city every time our dogs needed grooming... I was so thankful to discover this little gem right in our neighborhood! Bought a couple of treats yesterday and felt so comforted and welcomed by everyone that I made grooming appointments for my dogs! I have a beagle and an English Shepherd who can get quite anxious so I get really nervous anytime they have to go somewhere new. I can honestly say that I didn't have those feelings this time and that it was clear to me that my dogs had a nice time there! They both got baths and the shepherd got a nice trimming done. I am extremely pleased with the work and am glad to have found my new pet shop so close to home! Definitely go here for all of your pet needs!

This is by far my favorite pet store I even moved farther away and I drive 15 minutes to come to this store specifically.The selection, customer service, cleanliness, and prices are unmatched. It's also great to know they use and know the products they are selling.
