This market has been a part of hometown life in West Frankfort for many, many years. Their produce & meat are of the highest quality. They still believe in helping their customers and will take your groceries to your car for you. Wonderful, good people. Proud to be their customer for many years. The deli/meat counter is always clean & well organized. And the butchers are always kind & very helpful. LOVE THIS MARKET!! Update: still AWESOME! They go out of their way to take care of their customers. We wanted to special order short ribs & they got some beautiful ones for us. We are simply blessed, here in WF, to have them! Their customer service just keeps getting better and better! I love this place! I went to FCHS with some of the staff. We've been home for almost 10 years now & we order our Thanksgiving turkey from McCords & our prime rib roast for Christmas dinner. The best!

They have great and affordable prices on their meat products. They are the convenient neighborhood market with reasonable prices. The staff are always respectful and friendly. They almost always ask if they can help you out to your vehicle and if they do, they take the cart in with them.

Best meat department by far in the area. Friendly employees there to help you with everything. Well arranged store in good location near downtown. A bit expensive on many items but still a great grocery store, one that is very hard to find these days.

The best meat in Southern Illinois, hands down. I've been going there for years and have never been disappointed. If you get your meat from Walmart or Kroger, you probably don't know what you're missing. Try some meat from McCord's and you will probably be going there from now on like I do.

Fantastic deli meats just bought 5 pounds if the best BBQ meat on the market! Can't wait until tomorrow when I Patty them up to freeze them for further use, AHEM, after we eat a big BBQ sandwich for lunch that is! YUMMY IN OUR TUMMY!

I like their meet and bought chicken quarters on sale so I can make soup, dumplings and fried chicken. Pork chops and some cherrywood ham that is on sale. It is sweet and good. If we can we should shop locally. I bought Swiss cheese and mustard and leaf lettuce for my sandwiches. YUMMY!!!. They will carry your groceries to your vehicle for you too. Nice family that owns the business. Very clean store and lots of sale items too.

This store may be overpriced at times compared to others but they have an excellent fresh meat selection and I do like the small town grocery store feel. It’s almost like a convenience store as you don’t have to walk all over the place to find what you’re looking for and it’s quick to checkout.

I live close and have done all my grocery shopping here. Discount items in shopping cart before registers and in freezer across isle you find occasional half priced meats. Family business friendly people running a good store

Best store around. Won't buy meat anywhere else, it's always fresh and taste great. Actually I do all my shopping here. Prices are comparable to other places on most items. Don McCord is a great man that goes out of his way to please everyone.
