waited at the checkout counter several minutes, being ignored by the staff, not even, I will be with you in a moment. The women at the checkout counter was so rude and offered no apology for the delay in being recognized. She could not be bothered to answer my questions. Her response was, I am not familiar with that card. Well, I think she should become familiar with that card because it saved me over 50.00. In fact, it probably would be beneficial to have this women go through a training program in customer service, and become more familiar with the different insurance programs that are offered for over the counter items. I have never met a person that seemed so unhappy in her job. Perhaps it is a staffing issue.

The lady at the front register was super sweet and also helped me find what I was looking for. I was really appreciative especially since I was in a rush.

Rude, disorganized, and incompetent. I went in to fill a prescription for my sick daughter and was told that their system would take 40 minutes or so to process the order from the doctor. I called my doctor and they said that location has been having issues with their system (I wish they would’ve told me this before they sent it there) but they would just fax over the order so I can get it filled right away. I told the pharmacy worker that they would be faxing it instead and they replied it would still take 40+ minutes for them to process it. So I could wait or go someplace else.Since I was there and all of their Christmas stuff was discounted, I grabbed a few gift bags from the 70% off rack, they were all generic, looking red bags. When I go to check out, I was told that two out of the three are full price, Valentine’s Day gift bags. I asked them to be removed from my order, but the clerk didn’t know how to do that and looked around helplessly so I said, forget it and just purchased them all at full price rather than having to wait there any longer.While exiting that location, another customer came in and asked one of the employees where the pharmacy is. They responded it’s by the pharmaceuticals. How helpful!

Slowest pharmacy ever!!!Went to pick up amoxicillin for my 2 yr old an hour after we left her doctor appointment giving the pharmacy plenty of time to mix it. Waited in a long line to be told they needed more time. I said I’d wait - the lady said it would take min 20 mins (it’s amoxicillin). So I left and came back 30 mins later - meanwhile I have a miserable screaming 2yr old. I go to pick it up and I’m told “hold on we have to go mix it.” So I waited 10 mins for them to get the prescription ready. I pay and I’m told I need to wait for the pharmacist to come talk to me about the medication. They had me wait for 5 mins and state the pharmacist was on an extended call - I said that we have had amoxicillin before and are aware how to take it!!! Unfortunately this isn’t the first time this has happened to me here..What a joke! The pharmacy staff is rude and has zero consideration for anyone else’s time. No apologies no urgency. Go elsewhere if you can!

Very rude pharmacy department in person and on the phone . Never on time was promised to have ready at noon i showed up 1230 they say wont be ready till 2pm then said we do uave other meds to fill ok yes i understand yes i know theres other people to be filled im here now when you told me to come but oh well shame on me for giving them another shot now back to the further walgreens with much more friendly staff

Mostly good experience mostly friendly helpfulpositive good attitudes staff manager and otherwise familiar faces good products. I like the new products be added. Only 2 problems telecheck sometimes doesn't work right and cranky negative old ldyclerk she was ok 2 the person I was with. I understand she's older and 3rd but her rude attitude and commenting to me and how I was being treated by her was not right I didn't do anything to deserve it and I was having a bad vertigo at the time she made the experience stressful was about to put everything back and leave she always has attitude toward me in there ever one else there is nice. Otherwise good store one of thebetter walgreens

Its a shame that one star is the lowest option. This is the worst pharmacy I've ever been to. They don't notify when a prescription comes in, and don't even fill until you call to pick it up, at which point they say that it isn't in stock and they wont be able to get it for three days. They ask your names spelling, misspell it, and then just say that there are no prescriptions ready rather than confirming the spelling (common sense), had to make three stops and a phone call to get a script that had been sitting there from the start. The head pharmacist apparently is the only person who can administer a flu shot, which would be fine IF they weren't also required to sign off certain medications. Waited in the drive-thru for 15 minutes for the pharmacist to finish up a shot to sign off the meds, during which 3 cars pulled up behind us. We were asked to circle around so they could take care of the other cars while the pharmacist was busy; opted to park and wait inside rather than tack on however long we would have had to wait for them to poorly serve the remaining customers. There are plenty more situations like this, but I think this review is long enough. Horrible service.

I had a very pleasant experience with Jessica at this Fox River Grove Walgreens. She helped me find what I was looking for and then she rang me up all while having a very positive and friendly attitude. Walgreens needs more people like her.

Was at the Fox River Grove pharmacy last Saturday to pick up a flu prescription. Tamiflu generic was out of stock - only Tamiflu was available. Without insurance this drug cost was around $500 I think. Krystal and Michael K at the pharmacy went out of their way to look up and call other pharmacies to check if they had the generic to no luck. They then called the doctor to check if generic tablets could be prescribed instead of Tamiflu. The doctor was in agreement and I walked out paying $50 instead of $500. In addition Krystal tried real hard to look up the insurance details for the foster child (as I did not as yet have this information) so that I would not have to pay from my own pocket. I would like to thank both Krystal and Michael for their extraordinary service and empathy. Walgreens should be proud to have you.

I called this facility @ 9:03 am after a pt called our office and stated that his medication needed a prior auth and that he needed a medication after a sx he had. I spoke with a male and tried to give him the pt's name and date of birth and he was very rude. I had told the tech that the pt said he was just @ the pharmacy and that this is the pharmacy he would like to use. He started by saying that he had no idea what was going on with any pt's because he just got back from vacation and that he didn't have any pt's standing in front of him complaining about anything and that he didn't even have the pt's name tyed into the compouter..I then asked him if he could help me and type the pt's name in so i can see if this medication acctually needs a Prior auth or not, the pharm tech then stated that he just found it very strange that he just opend the gates and I was on the phone already complaining about a pt needing a PA. I found him to be very rude, not helpful and very inconsiderate to the pt's needs.

I have been visiting this Walgreens for eight years now. Always clean, well organized and easy to find what you're looking for. The pharmacy staff is very friendly and always willing to any questions that you may have.

The staff are great and remember you if you're a regular. The pharmacy is friendly and prompt. Some products can be a little hard to find though, even for the staff.

Horrible store, horrible customer service, Georgia, the manager, has horrible customer service don’t shop here unless you want to have a bad day, made me wait an unreasonable amount of time because she was talking to someone, 0/10

Corporate has changed the pharmacy hours. See posted photo. 9:00 to 7:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, 9:00 to 5:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. These hours changed recently and the hours probably will stay this way until the beginning of 2022 at least. No one at the pharmacy or in the store knows when the hours will change back to what they were previously.
