Was traveling from out of town and didn't have the opportunity to get in to our groomer before we left. Perfect Paws was able to accommodate getting my pup in on short notice. My dog is very timid and struggles with strangers touching him, let alone grooming him. He especially hates his nails being trimmed. As I came in to pick him up, he was nothing but happy with no signs of stress! He looked handsome and smelled amazing! 100% great service and highly recommend!

Absolutely the worst groomer I've ever been to. I only see positive posts on here so they must delete the bad ones. Tina was awesome and I always used her but the new owners butchered my dog. She was in a hurry to go home early so instead of grooming my dog she took it upon herself to just shave him. I was furious. She had excuse after excuse. Two months later he's finally beginning to look a little better. Plus she cut his nail and it bled all over! I'd love to post pictures but I can't figure out how to do that!!😩P.S. He was not matted!!

This place get 5 stars super friendly they take their time with your animal even when it comes to getting their nails clipped. They are very professional, other places our dog has been to they did it in less than 3 minutes and it just wants good enough! Plus this place has amazing soaps and things you can buy your pet! Love it here. They went through the shampoo with us. Love it will recommend

Thank you Tail Spin for becoming the new owners of Perfect Paws!!!! I have a very difficult lab when it comes to nail trimming. You handled him PERFECTLY!!! The wash and de-shedding treatment feels so good on both dogs, and the nails look great - my husband did pick up and said my Frenchie didn't want to leave!! And they even got the cutest lil bandanas! How cute!!! We look forward to our next visit - you are GREAT!!! Much improved over the previous owners. Fox Lake is lucky to have you.

We are so glad we took our girl Fannie May to these ladies! Poor Fannie was a hot mess, currently in between her puppy and adult coat. Despite our best efforts at home, she got matted. It was above our ability to help her so we googled groomers and saw that the one closest to us was purchased and under new management so we decided to give it a try and we are SO GLAD we did!The mom and daughter duo that were there were nothing short of amazing with our girl. They took the time to explain everything to me about how they were going to have to shave her down. They took the time to interact with Fannie while I was still there and make her comfortable (she can be a nervous Nellie). I was fully comfortable and confident leaving Fannie with them. These ladies worked on Fannie for hours! They were thorough, patient, kind and meticulous with our girl. We felt horrible that she needed such extensive help but are so grateful they gave her the TLC she needed and deserved. Upon picking Fannie May up, we set up our next groom for her and were given tips on how to best maintain her in between now and next time. Fannie was loved on some more and praised extensively before we left with her. She looks like a new dog and is so comfortable. We can’t wait to take her back to Tail Spin to be groomed by her new friends, we know she’s in good hands and we are SO HAPPY to have such an amazing local groomer! Cannot recommend them enough :)

We absolutely love taking our pup to Tail Spin. Stephanie and the crew are so gentle with pets that come in. They truly care about the dog’s wellbeing. My pup can be anxious when left alone without us and Stephanie takes the extra time to acclimate him and make him feel safe and cared for. The prices are more than reasonable for the level of service you receive here. I highly recommend bringing your pets here.

I just brought my husky & cattle dog in this weekend and can’t explain how appreciative I am of the ladies who groomed them! They did an absolutely amazing job and you can tell they are extremely caring towards the animals. Both my pups were well taken care of, clean, and perfectly groomed !! I am so happy to have found these groomers and set up my next few appointments 😊

Not ever having to take a dog to the groomer before because I've always done it at home bringing home a 12-week old shih Tzu puppy I knew he would have to be groomed once a month. They were able to fit me in right away later in the day so my puppy would not be stressed. They were absolutely fantastic with him. Very loving very caring he looked amazing when I picked him up I would completely recommend this place for all your dog grooming needs.

I have taken my Morkie to a few different groomers. She gets very scared and definitely does NOT like her nails trimmed. Every time she came home from a groomer, she would ignore us for a few days! It was stressful for all of us. I spoke to Stephanie prior to her visit and told her about my dog. We had a lengthy conversation about how she reacts at the groomer, new pricing and assured me she would take care of my pup. I can honestly say, THIS IS THE BEST GROOMER I HAVE EVER TAKEN MY Dogs to and will continue take them to her no matter what the price is. Not only was my dog happy but running around like a cat! 5 ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️! Thank you Stephanie and team. I look forward to future visits.

This is a wonderful place to take your dog! It's so great to see people who care about your pets and treat them lovingly. My dog hates grooming (especially nails) and they were AMAZING with him. We will definitely be going back!

I would give them 0 stars if I could. Last week I brought my two dogs, a lab mix and a beagle, in for grooming. I said to pay special attention to their ears and nails. I paid them $106 for both dogs. I picked up the lab first. Her nails were as long as they were when I brought her in. She kept shaking her head. I checked her ears and they were both dirty. The biggest insult was the beagle. I picked him up and put him in the car. His nails weren't touched. I brought him back into the store and was told that the blood line in older dogs was longer. No. So he took my 14 year old dog and dremelled his nails while I watched. Then I heard the receptionist tell him to check his ears. He took out a wipe and swiped his ears. Still filthy. If you have a dog that doesn't need a cut, save your money!

My 11 year old dog had been going to the same groomer for most of his life-and recently, they stopped taking appts. Perfect Paws took my Charlie on very short notice, and did an amazing job. The place is very clean, and I felt comfortable leaving my dog there! Definitely recommend!

The new owners are INCREDIBLE! They are so friendly and so helpful! They truly saved the day for my wife and I. We had planned to take our dog to PetSmart two days before our wedding and they turned him away due to a scab on his neck. Perfect Paws took a last minute appointment for us and the cut was amazing. Our boy looked great for the wedding photos! Their customer service and willingness to help are second to none. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE PEOPLE!

Today was the 1st time I took my 8-month Toy Poodle to Perfect Paws... I will NEVER take her there again.I gave the front desk staff explicit details as to what style of groomimg I expected for my pup... NOT ONE detail was relayed to the actual groomer.I was not a happy dog mommy when I picked her up 3-hours later, only to find the most simplest hair groom done... And of course they have you pay 1st before you see what kind of job they done.NEVER AGAIN!

I called and left a voicemail to see scheduling availability. I was called back the next morning and was able to get my two dogs in later that day. She happily accepted my two big pit bulls and was extremely well with them. One of my dogs is usually a screamer getting her nails cut/filed but Tina’s sweet voice must have calmed her cause no screaming! I’ll be back for their next nail trims :) Thanks!

I’m completely content with the grooming for my Tinkerbell. She always looks good and never stressed. I bring my pup in between washes to keep up on her claws and Tina never turns me away. Tina even showed me things to keep my pup clean like keeping up on ear hair (which I never knew to do). I love Tina’s, I can trust them😘

Our family dogs were first time clients w nail trims.Location of Perfect Paws easy find with parking lot full spaces to park. Owner Tina very patient with our dog when cried getting his nails cut whole time. $10 for nail trim not bad when given great customer service and knowledge staff handing fussy dog. I needed an emergency bath and groom for my dog after he was sprayed by a skunk (or something?). My former groomer could not fit him in for several days, so I called Tina. She got him in right away for a bath and a much needed groom. I am so pleased with how great he looked - and smelled afterwards. Needless to say, she will be getting my business for both my dogs from now on.

Tina groomed our 80 pound German Shepherd who hates baths. Tina was so patience and kind with her especially when all she wanted to do is escape and howl. Lol We are so pleased with how clean and fresh she smelled afterwards and how well her nails are trimmed. We moved out of state, and it’s difficult to find a groomer like Tina. I highly recommend Perfect Paws who will treat your animal with patience and care.

First dog grooming experience ever!! My 10 year old lab is stubborn, shes an old girl.. Lots of fur, shedding, stubborn for nail trimmings. Loves me but I'm wary to touch her as shes old. But took her to Perfect Paws to just trim her nails and ended up making an appointment to get the works done on her! ALLY IS AMAZING!! She did a beautiful job on her, loss 10 pounds in fur ;) nails are trimmed and she smells like raspberries!! She has even a little apple bottom trim. Would HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! They don't charge an arm or leg either. Will be going there for ALLY from now on!!

Perfect Paws by Tina is by far the best grooming salon! The salon is CLEAN, bright and welcoming. Tina is so professional and so nice, you can tell she loves what she does! My German Shepherd and French Bulldog came home looking stunning! They had the works: bath, brushout, nail trimed and even teeth brushed! I can't say enough great things about this salon and groomer!! We will definitely be back soon!

Tina is a true dog whisperer! Our white shepherd (Ghost) actually looks forward to getting his toes clipped (crazy, right?). We drive in from the city just to see Tina. Her rapport with dogs has always and continues to be very special. I highly recommend Perfect Paws. AAA+++

Went for the first time today. They squeezed us in for a quick nail cut and were friendly and fabulous and knowledgeable and great with my dogs who were, predictably, jerks - lol. Before I brought my Newfoundland in for grooming I went to see the shop to explain what I needed done. Oatmeal bath for skin issue and ears and feet trimmed. Tina told me she has groomed Newfies before which made me feel more comfortable.When I picked up my dog after grooming, not only were his feet over trimmed, but his feathers were chopped off.Clearly chopped and not blended with the rest of his coat. I did want his feathers touched.After seeing how upset I was I barely received an apology or discount on the grooming.And thank you for putting cologne on my dog that is already having skin issues. Needed to bath him the following day as that just agravated his skin further.
