I am in the parking lot writing this review. Honestly some of the least helpful employees I have ever met. I had to ask three different people questions and they all acted like it was a chore to answer questions. Then when I got to the cashier I had 8 buckets stacked together. I don't know if you have ever tried to separate buckets but it can be a huge pain. If the cashier had the tiniest idea of their products she would have known that the I literally how they come, or could have shaken it to hear if anything was inside. Ignorant, lazy employees, poor store layout, and majorly inconvenient policies.

Great candy selection! Everyone was helpful and joyful to deal with. One customer was being pretty harsh to the guy in the bathroom section. It’s really not his fault he didn’t know about the wood chips.

I'm rating this a 4 star because I really feel this place is better than average. I could talk about the negative, but let's focus on the positive. If you shop the deals and use your Menards rebate money then you can get a large amount of free stuff. That is the best way to shop here. Big ticket items like shingles can be cheaper than anywhere else if you catch a sale.

This rating is for the following issue only. I purchased a battery for my sons car at Menards a little over a year ago (keep in mind I would have never bought a battery from Menards over a automotive store if I would have had a choice). Fast forward a little over a year the AC Delco battery with a 3 year warranty crapped out on my sons car. Bring it back to replace and NO GO…… must have the receipt….which is fine, but the debit card I used was hacked and a new card for the same account had to be issued. I received the old number from my bank but the kiosk to pull up the receipt does not let you enter the numbers manually. After I spoke with the 20yr old manager and explained my situation they were unwilling to work with me for an in store credit for the junk I purchased from them.In hind sight I should have waited until a reputable automotive store was available to purchase the battery for my son. I would NEVER recommend purchasing any automotive from Menards.

Full service home and building supplies store, conveniently located just off 51 as you are coming into town Nice, polite and attentive staff are knowledgeable and helpful. From wood option to paint, appliances, garden, lighting, mowers and so much more, its all here.

We went to get deck boards today and received top-notch customer service from the lumber yard Boys, AC Miller, very kind, friendly smile and helpful, and David, who was patient with us asking questions while helping us choose the best boards he could find. You can tell both of these fellas take much pride in their work and have integrity as well. We will 100% be looking for these guys on our next visit. They deserve a kudos for a job well done, with a smile on a hot day. This is not an easy job im sure of it. I hope they get some kind of appreciation/recognition! Thank you!!

Dealt with a manager named Tom pertaining to an order on counter tops. This was my first time ordering counter tops and it turned out to be a complete disaster. First of all, my order had multiple things wrong with it. The main one being the install kit was missing. When I picked it up the store employee informed me that my entire order was there and helped load it which was nice. After arriving home, my contractor notices that the install kit was missing with the order. I went back to the store and he had left for the day at 4pm and he was the only "manager" who could help. Kind of crazy that you leave work early on a Saturday. But that's neither here nor there. So now I have to wait until the next day to discuss the issue. The next day he advised me to call the company they contract to discuss the missing items. I'm sorry I thought I was doing business with Menards. Why do I have to call your 3rd party vendor? That's your job so I made sure he did that. Additionally, with all the mishaps.. my contractor charged me an additional $800 because of something that was out of his control. When I asked Tom if there was anything he could do about all the issues. He said no, there's nothing to be done. I definitely wasn't asking him for money, I did expect expedited shipping for the kit. Which I haven't received and it's been OVER A WEEK. This has caused me to complain to the store supervisor (Rob) and he told me to fill out a form that takes 5-6 weeks to get reviewed AND I figured out he's a liar too. The man told me I could print out my receipt because I accidentally left it at their store and it got tossed in the trash. I spoke to home office and they were able to provide me with one. All in all a terrible experience and I'll give my business to anyone else. Menards motto of "quality and service" was grossly NOT met. Shame on all involved. Do better and be better. OR find a different career path.

Menards has what we need for the seemingly endless projects around the house. The staff are always very helpful when asked if we can't find what we're looking for. I like the 11% rebate on everything, which adds up quickly when you spend big money at Menards like we do.A word of wisdom learned from experience, send in your rebates when you get home so as not to forget to, because they expire quickly and you lose out.

Fantastic! Spent more than I expected too! But with the 15% off with whatever you can fit in the bag. Mine was really full and busting at the seams. But I got a lot of good sale buys plus the 15% off. Can't beat that. Sure helped with the last minute things that I needed to finish up my kitchen remodel. Also done now, putting the final touches on and moving my things back in finally.

Good. Brought in a beer keg to find a deep well socket. Found 11/16 is the size needed to remove a liquid out post. Was cheap and should last a lifetime.

You guys really need to hand the customer their receipts. I walked off with out getting my own on a $300+ transaction realized it went back a few minutes later they had already ripped it up and thrown it away!! Screwing my out of my rebate, yeah I can reprint it but they saw to it that rebate was gone forever. They made the custom get their own receipt instead of handing to them just for this reason. This isn’t the only shady thing when it comes to rebates heaven forbid you spend $2,500 but $50 was a rebate and you have to return $100 worth… they screw you and refuse to give you $50back they mandate it stays a store credit. I’m done with the the carpenter it’s going else where from now on some place with integrity

Manager Candice at the forsyth menards is a joke and should be stocking shelves and not a manger ..I took a ac back that had a warranty for 2 years I didn't have the receipt on me she said for a EXCHANGE I had to prove that it was purchased before then so I pointed out the manufacturer date on the unit and it was just little over a year it was made... so how would it be possible to be 2 years old ...

Today I went into the store and needed some help finding a bird bath for my mom for Mother’s Day. Tony helped me today, his customer service was great. He didn’t event work in the department but he guided me, picked it up for me, and helped me to the counter. He was very nice and patient with me. Thank you Tony for your great service.

I never have trouble finding an employee to help. No matter what aisle I'm in, I can walk just a few steps and there is an employee ready to answer my question. Always nice!Also, the Christmas tree "alley" is gorgeous this year!

The paint people need more training. They insisted it is necessary to powerwash a wood deck with parts of it bare & worn. Scrape, lightly sand, hand scrub with oxyclean, & thoroughly rinse is correct to keep tiny water particles from blowing into the bare wood and peeling. Also, they seemed confused about whether to use stain over paint or paint over stain. Told them twice the deck portion was painted. Finally resolved that paint should go over paint.

I get a lot of items at Menard as a Contractor prices are comparable to lowest. I got led flood lites and lamps for ceiling fans.

Although this store seems to have anything you can imagine, the customer service is horrible. I’ve been shopping here numerous times, different departments and still received the same service.Anytime you have a question or need help finding an item you can never find an employee. If you happen to find one, they are quick to leave their stations. I’ve had rude employees who walk right past myself or others when they were trying to get their attention. The paint section is a joke. The teens working don’t have a clue what they’re doing. I paid for three gallons of paint. I asked for them to put the paint color on the lid (as they normally do). I was told the color is labeled on there. Come to find out one color was not the right color by far. As convenient as this store maybe, the customer service makes it not worth the trip.

Menards is our go to place for remodeling our house. They have a great selection of indoor and outdoor lights, flooring, and tools. They are consistently cheaper for most everything and their 11% off everything, which they have often, can't be beat. They also offer a fairly decent grocery section that carries some of our favorite bag soup mixes. We will be moving out of state soon where there isn't a Menards. We will be mourning the loss.

The store is always neat and clean. Sometimes it is hard to gain assistance from a sales person but over all it is a friendly experience. Most of the time I can locate what I need and get ideas for future projects.With inflation running rampant we all must make the most of the bad situation, every bit of savings helps, thanks for the 11% rebate.

Lots of workers wandering around together talking but not once while my husband and I shopped separately did anyone ask if you we needed any help. Check out girl had 0 personality and had a snotty attitude when we wanted to buy several cinder blocks. Said we have to lug them to checkout if we want them. 10 of them for an older couple wasn’t happening. Too bad they don’t provide customer service training.

Our visit yesterday was everything we'd expected. While the staff was busy (since it was a Saturday afternoon) they were still attentive to our needs and helped us when needed. Everything was reasonably priced, easy to find, and the atmosphere was enjoyable. We found and purchased everything we needed for our project, and all of it was in stock ready to go! Definitely happy with our experience, as is usual with this Menards.

Went int for planters and a strimmer, came out with an outstanding deal on herb plants too! Easily comparable displays and clear signage made this trip a cinch! Already want to go back to look at more plants 🤭😅

Had a very nice shopping experience on Sunday. Had asked if they had more Charbroil grills and I also needed the hose adapter, employee went and got my grill and the hose and took it up front for me. Found every thing we needed and more.

Easy to find anything/everything, staff is helpful, but as a regular I do know more about where everything is than they do!! 11% rebate is awesome !Try the tootsie roll " hard candy with regular tootsie roll inside ", near the checkout registers but across the isle. Yummy
