Went to Lowe’s to get a new washer and dryer…..everyone had went to lunch so no employees weren’t around. Finally a gentleman from a different department helped me. Showed him what I wanted and what I needed. He was great help and it was effortless. Fast forward to today when my washer and dryer show up. Delivery guy says the only problem is this is a 4 prong and you need a 3 prong…..luckily they had what I need on the truck, but was a little disappointed when the salesman knew why my hook ups looked like.

Had a refrigerator delivered from their warehouse house. We didn't install it until 6 days later.. when we found it did not work. Refrigerators have a 48 hour return/exchange policy. We have to schedule a warranty repair now for our BRAND NEW refrigerator.

Needed help with finding the right connector for my shower and a man getting off work decided to help us before he left. And since he opened the PKG to see if it fit the part he marked it down! I always get great service at Lowe's.Also found great deals on to and paper towels on the way to ck out! Win win!

I buy and pay for two vanities that were at another location and have to wait for the truck to deliver them, only to find out days after the scheduled delivery, when I go into the store, the order was canceled and they no longer have them and that my refund has to get approved before going back into my account. I do not recommend lowes.

The only reason for 1 star is because there is not a Zero star choice. I have always used Lowes for my needs but after this experience I will go out of my way, spend more money, and wait longer just to avoid using Lowes for any of my needs.I ordered an electric range and refrigerator from Lowes and I scheduled delivery. I waited about a week for delivery and this is where it all fell apart. Delivery appointment was set for 12p-4p. In the morning, I went on the app to check how many stops was in front of me and saw 14 stops. I checked again around 10 pm and saw 14 stops and then checked again around 1p and saw 14 stops. Thinking there is something wrong, I called customer service and the reassured me that everything is fine and it's just that the driver hadn't been updating the route. (LIE #1) Around 3p I called back and letting them know that I was concerned witht the delivery and customer service reassured me that everything is good and the truck is running a little behind and it may be 530p for the delivery. (LIE #2) At 530p I called back to find out where the delivery truck is and customer service told me that they were running late and it would be 830p for the new delivery time. (LIE #3). I called back around 830p to ask what is going on and customer service tells me the truck broke down and is back at the warehouse and my delivery has been rescheduled. I called customer service and asked to speak to a supervisor, and I was told no because they will tell me the same thing. After arguing with the representative, I was finally transferred to Alika. She acted like she was better than everyone and that she did not care if my delivery was cancelled and that I had to wait an additional week to get my appliances. WOW! I do not know how she is a supervisor for customer service. Customer service tried to tell me the truck was still EnRoute to my address but all along the number of stops did not decrease any and when customer service told me the truck was back at the warehouse I knew had had been lied to again because I am 2.5 hours from the warehouse. Because of the truck breakdown my delivery was bumped out a week even though I had scheduled ahead of all the other customers that were getting deliveries during my waiting week. If you notice customer service was not calling me, I had to call them to find out where my delivery was.Customer service offered $100 gift card because of everything and usually they only offer $20. This is 5 times the amount they offer so this must have been a huge F*ck up on their part. If I was in a position to wait longer, I would have cancelled the order and went to Home Depot. At Home Depot they actually care about the customers. I have never had an issue with Home Depot. I should have stuck with Home Depot - Lesson Learned!I will never shop at a Lowes again. I will do whatever it takes to avoid shopping there. I will share my experience with all my family and friends as they should know how I was treated.

I have always used Lowes and was happy to support them. So when my daughter was remodeling her kitchen, naturally we went there to look for appliances . Well it turns out the microwave she got wasn't going to work on her kitchen, so we thought we could exchange it. Only to be told that appliances can only be returned within 48 hours. No one mentioned that, there is a small sign on the wall nothing on the receipt. I will never buy another appliance from Lowe's

Don’t expect help if you are looking for anything. Also the kitchen dept is empty most times of the week. I used to like this lowes, but it has been disappointing here in the last few visits.

Great, wide selection of home products, from appliances, lawn mowers, lawn and garden, paints, tools, lighting, flooring and much, much more. Polite, knowledgeable and attentive staff. Conveniently located just off the highway and near the Interstate. Full service home improvement store.

Went to Lowe’s to get a new exterior door installed. Showed up at 7:30pm to meet with a Door and Window representative to discuss the quote. Erik was good but his colleague was immature and was causing a distraction by dancing and interrupting while conducting business. Erik informed me he could take 10% off of my $3,000 total then 5 minutes later told me he couldn’t which I thought was unprofessional and misleading. After waiting patiently for about 40 minutes they blamed it on their computer system for taking so long. Overall the experience was mediocre.

My husband and I have been to this store several times since relocating here recently. Each time, we were provided excellent service; Rod has been invaluable to us on several occasions. He was extremely knowledgeable about the products we sought and diligently helped us find what we needed. I wish service like this was available everywhere, but am deeply grateful that we can count on Rod and other customer service staff whenever we go to Lowe's.

Very bad customer service. We ordered a refrigerator for a rental property. We got a 20 minutes out call, and my dad went to the apartment within ten minutes. They marked it as non-deliverable, without calling upon arrival. My dad was inside waiting over 40 minutes for them to come, before I confirmed with the driver they weren’t coming or “had come.”After 4 phone calls totaling over 30 minutes, we still do not know when it will be delivered because they have to have it back at the warehouse before they reschedule it. They have no idea when the delivery coordinator will be back in the office. The run around to get an answer to a simple question is crazy.I ordered 4 appliances from Home Depot a in March and the process was simple, communication was amazing, I even had delivery progress emails throughout the process and calls day before / day of. This process needs to be streamlined and staff members need retraining, do better Lowe’s Decatur. I understand this is a big box store, but customer service could be much better in this process specifically.Update: My delivery was rescheduled, without my knowledge or contact from anyone from Lowe’s. I did not find out until calling the store what date and time it was scheduled for.

Normally I would give lowes full star, and then today happened. We accidentally scanned something twice (that was completely out fault). We press the help button and wait five minutes (no big deal). Jane then comes up to help us. I tell her the problem, and all she does is press the back button. She says there you go. I have to tell her again what the issue is and she sneakily hits quantity and presses 1. She then says that's all you had to do. She then realizes she has to scan her badge to override the quantity. I am a national service manager and use lowes a lot, but after this interaction I will be taking my business elsewhere and only approving Home Depot runs for my field technicians. I get that this was a one time ordeal but the one thing I will not tolerate is snarkiness especially when I actually needed a representative's override. Furthermore I recognize the vacant look of someone on drugs especially opioids and would guess that is what she was in. Lowe's do a better vetting of your employees. Till this happens I will be telling every other contractor I am in touch with to go elsewhere.

Went to Forsyth Lowe’s to get some exterior paint for our house. We were hoping to match the original paint color from Olympic Paint Company who is no longer in business. We were fortunate enough to find Angie in the paint department. She was very knowledgeable, helpful, friendly, and funny! She matched the paint perfectly including the porch paint we needed from another company. If you ever need paint and appreciate great service, ask for Angie!!

I bought a range and refrigerator on 2/07/23. I was told both appliances would be delivered on 2/09/23 so I took off from work after confirming 3 times it will be delivered. The range came but no refrigerator. To add insult to injury, I was told by the drivers, that they don’t take the range out the box or install the cord so they just left. I had to take off again on 2/10/23 for my refrigerator but that refrigerator came damaged so I had to be home again on 2/11/23 for a new one. That refrigerator came damaged as well so I had to wait until business hours on 2/13/23 to speak to someone. I spoke to the manager of the store and he told me he’ll look into it and call me back which he never did. The manager had a associate call me that didn’t have access to everything needed to help me. That manager lacked professionalism and definitely showed me poor customer service. Thankfully, the associate was very nice to me and tried to help the best that she could. I was told to call Lowe’s delivery service and I got a associate that said I should’ve made the delivery for when I got off work so I didn’t miss days. I’m gone from 7-7 Plus travel the window is 8-8 and my children needed a fridge so I didn’t have a choice but to take off both days. The associate supervisor asked me how significant is the damages since it’s on the inside and asked if I got the refrigerator on sale …Unbelievable!!!! 10% off don’t fix all the stress, loss of wages and time so of course I’m not going to jump for joy. It’s 2/14/23 and I’m still waiting on a email for a resolution. Customers Beware!!!

This is the worst customer service I have ever had. $1,000 for a range that doesn't work after 30 days. They would only take care of the issue if we used their credit card and we didn't. They want us to contact Whirlpool instead. They also delayed our delivery 3 times without calling us. Tried calling the store several times and no one answers the phone at customer service. I would recommend buying ANYWHERE else but here.

The worst experience ever. Purchased a washer and dryer on May 31. It is 21 days later still do not have a working dryer nor have I received a refund for the scratched washer. I have wasted more afternoons waiting for deliveries or calling Lowes and being put on hold. Even worse waiting for a return of a phone call. No one returns phone calls including the manager.

Bought and brung home a garage door opener and also paid for installation for it, that was 10 days ago didn’t here from anyone went to the store talk to a manager he doesn’t know anything so then I’m directed to call installation somewhere in the United States. she said they don’t schedule installation at the store and you haven’t even received it yet. I said yes I have it’s been sitting in my garage for 10 days, she looked up for installation and told me Lowe’s in Decatur doesn’t even have anybody local that installs garage door openers what a Mickey Mouse outfit. It’s a good thing. There isn’t anything below one star because they would sure get it from me. Looks like I’ll be going to Menards from now on. (Lowe’s responded back l called the number they provided waited 25 minutes for someone then they disconnected me, l’m not calling back you have my number you can call me.)

Bought a new refrigerator. Arrived with a dent. Manager said we had to buy a second for the replacement to be ordered and the new one had to be returned. We would be without a fridge until the new one came in. Also said Best Buy, menards and all other stores require same. Lie! We called Best Buy and they let you use the dented one until the new one comes in. Any body else have this?? We have bought many appliances from Lowes and not had a problem in the past!

Employees always helped any way they could, it was a great shopping experience with easy to find items. The only reason I have rated it 4 stars is for the progressive leasing option that is offered. No Employees seemed to know how to use it, and most things in the store aren't covered on it. A hassle to deal with but the Employees took care of it as best as they could.

Went to store on Thursday 1/26. Went out to buy kitchen cabinets and lumber. No one in the store could help. Figured out what we needed and pulled down from racks ourselves. After a very large purchase, we checked out and set up for delivery. We were told they woukd deliver Monday 1/30. Lumber truck delivered. Box truck with cabinets did not. No phone call, nothing. After many phone calls, with no offer to rectify the problem we are picking them up ourselves. Will definitely go across the street to Menards in the future.

We went to the Decatur Illinois Lowe’s store. looking for weedeaters and blowers and trimmers. Destiny came over to help us. She was one of the most knowledgeable people I have ever met at Lowe’s probably more knowledgeable than some of the management at the stores. Any question we asked she knew answer to immediately! She was very sweet and would take the time to answer any questions. She would get a 10+ From my husband and I! Great job destiny! Keep up the great work!

Lots of products. It only lacks the small store feel with the personal help from the employees. I wasn't happy with the Veterans discount process. It is very misleading to offer this discount only to have us pre-register online before we shop. Illinois Veterans' license shows that we are veterans, and Lowe's won't except that. Very sad.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! BUYER BEWARE! Changed our delivery date 3 times without calling us. They do not stand behind their products. They make you deal with the manufacture unless you use their credit card. Don't buy from here unless you wanted treated like garbage.
