Walked into this store 90 minutes before close, intending to spend $800 on a cell phone, cash and carry. Was told it was too late to buy a phone and that i should have shown up 2 hours before close. Wow. Okay. Guess I'll take my money elsewhere.

The young lady in the phone department helped me a lot with finding some info on my phone that I couldn't find, but she seemed very bored and not happy to be there. If you aren't happy, don't let the customer see it. Maybe get a job that makes you smile, you're too pretty to not be smiling. Life is too short to be at a job you aren't happy at. 😊 I'm so thankful she helped us, though, and she was good at her job! She just seemed very annoyed. Always enjoy our visits to Best Buy.

If you are looking for headphones Forsyth is the place to go. You can actually see the boxes they are not locked up like Champaign, presumably because of theft. It's a smaller store but they have a much better selection. The Best Buy app may say something is in stock but it is completely unreliable. Don't waste your time, you should phone first, or have it delivered to your house.

Do not waste your time with this scamming company. All they want is your money. Go into buy a TV that's on display with price and all. They then proceed to being out an entirely different model that's 2 years older than model advertised and say oh that's this one. The same price and model have been placed in the same spot for 4 months. And went to ask about getting a new protective screen and replace old one on a switch and they say that the cheapest option is to buy a new switch when the protective screens are easy to remove and install(I have tried installing them before myself but cannot do a proper job). Do yourself a huge favor and go elsewhere. Customer support and employees are a joke and are in on pumping money out of everyone and false advertising.

I would like to share my experience at the Forsyth, IL location of Best Buy on March 7th, 2024.I had an appointment scheduled with Geek Squad and was running behind schedule, but they allowed me to keep my appointment and began working on a laptop vital to my small business.Ethan took charge and was pretty sure that we were going to have to send my laptop off for repair or replacement meaning I would likely lose many important files, but he insisted we try the reinstallation of several drivers that the manufacturer had failed to install. He installed them, saved incredibly important data, and set up a system that backed up my files automatically. His customer service and approachability were simply excellent. I will be recommending anyone I know to find Ethan at the Best Buy in Forsyth when they run into issues with electronics.I wouldn't normally write such an exhaustive review but Ethan saved so much of my data that this is the least I could do.

My wife just returned from a fruitless trip to the Duhhhcatur store. The store was empty of consumers and full of employees, yet no one had the time or attitude to assist her. This is certainly not the exception to the rule at that store. I regret sending her there. The management team is terrible, and no one acts as if they want to be there at all.

Online orders are the only way I shop. Seems like there are too many employees on the clock because there's a lot of bros just chilling at the service counter. Never had a bad experience, though.

I never have a negative experience going into this BestBuy. My trips are always short and pleasant, and the employees are always willing to help.Last time I was in, I thought I needed a new headset for my PlayStation 5 (slim) because my old PS4 headset was USB-A. The associate there was kind enough to look up if the PS5 slim has a USB-A port, and it does! It saved me a lot of money, and I learned a little bit about my console that day.

I was told by the sales association that they sold out of the Samsung A25 5g phones, but on the site it said it was available to pickup tomorrow. In addition to this the sales association didn't even look to see if the phone was in the store.

I have a refund pending in this store and i travelled abroad and they are refusing to reply to my emails ?????? they aren’t going to send me my refund ,, more than a year and i didnt recieve anything !!!!! ,,, People be aware of these scammers and never leave the store without getting your money in your hand !!!

The employees are helpful and friendly but there are several other areas this location needs to improve on. When calling the store you are pushed through the automated choices only to end up holding for at least 35 minutes waiting for an actual person to answer. I’ve placed several in store and online orders for delivery and store pick up with no issue until I bought a few major appliances. I placed an order for a Samsung washer and dryer set with matching pedestals. I was able to take the washer home that day and the pedestals were delivered two weeks later. A month later and I’m STILL waiting for my dryer. The washer and two pedestals have been sitting in my garage this whole time still in the boxes while I’ve been waiting to receive my dryer. I originally had it set for delivery but the delivery day came and went with no dryer in stock. The manager then changed my order to store pick up because they assured me it would be faster to get it and my pick up day came and went with no dryer in stock still. Not going to lie at this point I’m pretty mad. When I called and spoke to a manager she had absolutely no idea as to a specific date when the dryer will be in stock and my order fulfilled. Yet on their website they still give a promised delivery or pick up date when you order it. Meaning they’re still taking orders and blatantly LYING to customers about when they’ll receive the item. This is unacceptable! Now that an entire month has passed by the washer and dyer set I bought from them are no longer on sale. So even if I cancel the dryer order and drag the washer and pedestals back into the store for a refund to buy from somewhere else I’ll have a huge difference ($400) to make up for something I had paid in full at Best Buy. I will never buy another appliance from them again.*UPDATE* I finally picked up the dryer on 12/29/2019

Stood at the HEET wall looking to buy an entire home theatre solution for 20 minutes with ZERO employee contact. Bought a screen protector for my phone. Packaging for all like items were opened on the tape. Reported this and was dismissed by the employee standing at the front. This same employee walked over to check me out and proceeded to ignore my concerns about the seal of one single item and did not offer to open the item to check. Not until I asked for a manager did anyone offer to do this. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere for the large purchase. Nothing but poor experiences at this location. I worked for bestbuy many years ago, and I would have been fired for acting like that. Unacceptable.

They are the big electronics place around town. Employ many people. They fix computers as well as sell them. Their customers are asked to make appointments for computer repair help. They also assign pickup times for finished computers they have worked on. I've had mostly pleasant experienced with staff. Have also been scolded for not making an appointment on time to pick up a machine. (7 minutes) Like most places that serve lots of customers the employees can differ in how the customers are treated.

My main man for automotive audio, Rich is that guy. Always comes in clutch when I need something done he does it. Does great work with no issues, been coming to him for years and won’t go to anyone else. 10/10 would definitely recommend

The salesman in the laptop area was very courteous and answered all my questions. I had been researching laptops online for awhile so I kind of knew what I wanted and he was able to point me to what he suggested and why he thought that was a good laptop. The price was comparable to other retailers.
