Forreston Hardware is the best! It seems like I’m in there for something almost every weekend. Very well stocked store and super convenient. The staff is very knowledgeable and they always make an effort to find what you need or make recommendations. It’s everything you want your local hardware store to be.

This has got to be the best stocked hardware store I have ever been inside of. What a time saver to have one 3 miles away as opposed to 15.the slightly higher price is well worth not have to drive a 30 mile round trip to Freeport!

Keller Hardware is people-oriented. They care about their customers. if they don't have what you want they will order it. For the senior citizens they often carry all the items out to their car. these are very good people and I encourage forreston residents to shop there and keep their business in the community.

Koeller Forreston Hardware is everything you'd want in a small town business. Family owned, friendly staff, ultra clean store with a surprisingly large variety of items. The owners are super knowledgeable and extremely helpful, ALWAYS going above and beyond for their customers. I love having a local hardware store and they are very community-minded.

Great home town hardware store with more. Gary is the best at answering questions about anything you've broken with a part then how to make it work. No wondering the store looking for help. If Gary doesn't have it he can order it so don't despair there's help right in downtown forreston.

Nice having a small town hardware store where they have what you need and are able to answer questions. Not like the big box stores where you have to hunt someone down and there's a 50/50 chance they know anything.
