Awful. This place is terrible. I don’t know how they survive. 2 tacos a Diet Coke can and 2 tablespoons of guacamole was $13.50. Look at my photo. The chicken tacos are awful. They didn’t put the onion and cilantro on it and its orange cubed breast meat. Gross. They charged me $4.99 for the small guacamole which is about 2 tablespoons. No chips. Never again. There is so much good Mexican in the area I should not have stopped her just because it was convenient.

Expensive, but tasty!The drinks were pricey, but absolutely delicious. The food was reasonably priced. We went in for margaritas, but got hungry so ordered carry out.Free chips & salsa were delicious! I really liked their salsa. Tacos were great! Food was fresh. We'll be back to enjoy the outdoor patio seating.

This cantina is not your typical Mexican eatery, at least based on my experience SO FAR. The flavors of my taco salad were mild and creamy, delicious layers of refritos, rice, tender chicken, salad, and topped with a fresh guacamole and sour cream in a freshly fried tortilla bowl. I will be back to taste the steak tacos, burritos, and enchiladas on the menu! To drink, I had a generous mug of a wonderful non-alcoholic "cucumber limeade".I have seen this place hopping almost every time I drive by, but I was there early Sunday afternoon and it was a chill atmosphere (with a steady stream of take-out customers. )You order and pay at the counter as you enter before you sit down, but the experience was like a restaurant after that, with chips and sauces, an attentive waitress, etc. I rather liked being able to just go when I finished without waiting for a bill and payment.Try this place if you want to try something a little different in Mexican cuisine!

Finally had the tacos with rice and beans and it was okay, nothing special. The tamales were dry, the Chata wasnt bad and the service was quick. Overall I would go back if I needed to not if I really wanted to.

Chorizo, pastor and barbacoa all great. Cooked well, good flavor. A 3rd visit to try more of the menu and will probably be a 5 star review.

One of my absolute favorite taco places in the area! Pre-Covid, they had a phenomenal salsa bar, that I hope comes back, but in the meantime, the tacos are still amazing and affordable. Highly recommend!Update, a year later: unfortunately the salsa bar isn't coming back, but the tacos are still fantastic and they now have a taco Tuesday deal!

Finally tried the new taco place in town and was definitely satisfied with the results. I got a 3 goat tacos platter (no beans double rice) -cilantro and onions and my wife ordered a taco salad with chicken no tomato.The restaurant was really clean and modern looking. You can tell they really care about their presentation.The goat tacos were flavorful and moist, definitely brought me back to my Greek family goat roasts. Goat has it's own flavor and Tacabron definitely used the natural flavor with the meat. I'm always worried about the tortillas being too greasy/oily tasting. The corn tortillas were great, exactly how you would want the tortillas to taste like.My wife enjoyed her chicken taco salad. It had plenty of meat and the ingredients were really fresh.Definitely making this my go-to taco place.

I love tacos! So having a new restaurant in the neighborhood I had to stop by to check it out. Today was my time trying goat but I most say that it won't be my last time having it. It was so tender and juicy. The restaurant is nice and spacious. I'll be back to try the margaritas. There is plenty of street parking. Staff is friendly! This is a gem for Forest Park!

We ordered online, and then in store I saw flauta special and ordered that as well! Taco platter and birria platter were all super delicious. This place also has great vegetarian tacos. Be sure to get a side of elote! I ordered horchata and asked if a pink juice was tamarind, it was watermelon 🍉, and they gave me a small taste! Green salsa is tasty and mild and red salsa is flavorful and hot!Vegetarian options: Veggie tacos made from zucchini and squash I think.Dietary restrictions: Lots of corn shell options if gluten intolerant

I've been to Tacabron for their Taco's. First time, the taco meat was more on somewhat a pinkish side then dark brown beef. Yet, I tried; tacos had no type of seasoning. Visited again, and asked if meat pure ground beef; yes was answer but it was the same. I ended up browning in skillet & added seasonings. Young ladies both times, very pleasant & though I didn't eat in, atmosphere seemed pleasant.

I've been here 3 times in the past week and I'm very impressed by the quality of the food here! First off, I think it's important to tell you that the meat itself is generally on the "plain" side, but I think that's by design, because they have a salsa bar with tons of great options. My favorite is the smoky negra salsa. Also worth noting is that the meat itself is super tender, none of those awful tendon-bits so far. The horchata is also delicious, and seems pretty fresh - definitely no signs of powder in my drink, so at least it's not from a powdered mix! The staff is friendly and prices are fair. Hope these guys do well!

I've driven past this place a hundred times and finally decided to stop in for lunch today. I was pleasantly surprised. The food was good. Not 5-star, authentic, good, but close. The atmosphere is great. Many taquerias focus 100% on the food, and don't seem to care much about the atmosphere. Much different here. Very nice, bright, modern, clean. The salsa bar is great. Between my wife and kids, we tried a wide selection of tacos and tortas and they were all good. Prices are a little higher than you'd see at most other taco joints, but honestly, the change in scenery from the run of the mill taquerias makes it worth it. We'll definitely be back soon!

Tacos delicious but the burritos not so great. I ordered a chicken burrito. What I got was boiled chicken on some type of red sauce very bland. Tortilla was to big for the amount of ingredients and was mostly just folded. Very disappointed.

Decided to give neighborhood spot another chance as my first vist wasn't good. Food was not authentic and needed more seasoning and service was not pleasant. After Second visit I definitely will never go back, after letting the young girl behind the counter know I was still waiting for my take out order she proceeded to take orders and give food to people who ordered after me, all the while my food was right next to the orders she was giving out. I'll take my money to a real authentic taco place with better service and food

This spot is perfect. Directly in my neighborhood and delicious. It's a bit pricey but you get what you pay for. Absolutely phenomenal (if not a lil oniony, hehe).I've been coming here for years and brought many people. People love it so much they request coming here when we spend time together.Dietary restrictions: I'm gluten free and this is my go to taco place.
