I recently had my kitten Spayed. The staff was pleasant and answered any questions I had. They took good care of Piper and updated me at each stage of her procedure and recovery. I was more worried about this being her first time away from her humans since we brought her home. They said she did great. I have been dealing with Flora Vet for more than 20 yrs now and have never had any complaints.

Only vet within 60 miles willing to take my baby now. Very welcoming staff from start to finish, and the Vet talked to me not at me. Felt good leaving my cat with these ladies and I know he is in good hands, ty so much

Took my puppies to Flora Vet for 1st shots and wellness check. Momma had 11 puppies they were helpful in bringing them in and were kind with the chaos of so many puppies. It was their 1st time on leashes. They are mastador puppies way too heavy to carry in. At the time, they were about 10 pounds each! At 2 months old 😱 Definitely recommend this vet!

Put my dog down this evening, Holly helped make the experience as easy as possible, she was so kind and understanding, she was so gentle with my sweet pup even after she was gone. The staff overall helped ease such an awful situation.

Very friendly, very professional atmosphere. Very pleased with the care our pet received. We should have changed veterinarians months ago when our pet"s health was not improving. He has shown 100% improvement after only one visit. We couldn't be happier with the care he has received.

Feeling Blessed, I Love Flora Vet !! My family’s new to Flora and I had an emergency situation with our family cat, the staff took it very seriously and started working on him immediately, even tho I didn’t have an appointment. Staff and Tech’s were very kind and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience!! They took great care of Peanut and my bill was very reasonable!! Thank you Flora Vet for all you do !! You’re truly a Blessing to my family!!

2 1/2 years ago we moved to Salem. We had 6 rescue pets, most of whom had medical conditions. Moving to a small town, early in the pandemic, with Senior pets--it was almost impossible finding care for them. I cried often in frustration and worry.When we found Flora Vet Clinic, it was a huge relief! They were so welcoming, so knowledgeable and really care about our pets. I wouldn't go anywhere else.God knows, we've needed them many times and they've always been there for us and our furbabies.Jean and Ray,Moji, Tanner, Dutch, Jack and Nutmeg

I cannot say enough about the vets and staff here. They have proven that your animals comfort and safety is their priority. Nothing but professional service from the staff. I get all of my animals meds and treatments through Flora Veterinary Clinic and will continue to use them. Prices are reasonable for the area and they are very knowledgeable on the products they offer for your animal.

They are very caring and professional. Treat fur babies very well. They talk and explain things, and make sure you have any questions for them. Appointment on time. Very clean, courteous, and caring. Wouldn't take my babies anywhere else.

They postponed an appointment that we had made to get our cats groomed saying the groomer had quit due to no shows. They should have called to let us know if there were openings. when they finally did groom the cats they looked terrible. They also lleft me standing at the door while they locked up and left for the day when I told them I was on my way to get meds for my pet. I stood there while they drove off. They had been good to deal with in the past. I guess good help is hard to find. I don't know how they have 4 stars.

Great to deal with but VERY over priced. Had us make multiple appointments for something/shots my normal vet would handle in one visit. My pet almost died because they refused to see her. Thank God for Effingham they saved her life. My animals will go to Effingham from now on.

Everyone has their own opinions of this place but they have been really helpful when I need to get my animals in to be seen. They took great care of my cat that had to be hospitalized over a week. They have all been friendly.

I brought my 19 year old dog in this morning, thinking she was going to die. Every single person in the office was amazing to me and Sassy. They were wonderful to her. Thankfully, she is going to be ok!

Dogs were beaten when they were kenneled there supposedly because they were aggressive but several phone calls were made to check on the dogs and the staff said they were fine and there were no problems. They were starving when they got home , bloody eyes from strangulation and scared to death . They were suppose to stay in the same cage because a luxury suite was purchased for them and when they were picked up they were separated and not in a luxury anything ! Don’t use this place EVER if you truly love and care for your pets !

My dog who is a 2 years old boxer/pitt mix started throwing up and had several bloody stools,actually it was just all blood. She had her parvo shots but we think that was the issue. The test was negative but we think it was just too ealry too show up. Anyway, I called the olney vets and they wanted me to make an appointment even though it was an emergency. I'm not saying next day either, they wanted me to wait 3 days. I think they just didn't want to deal w it. I had heard several bad reviews on this place but they were the first to let me get her in that day. They took great care of her,kept her for 3 nights and sent her home w meds at an insanely great price.

I have never had a bad experience here! I leave my pets when I go out of town and have never had any issues. They have always been very professional and welcoming to myself and my pets. I would not leave my animals anywhere else.
