Nice little drive up / drive in. We had tenderloin sandwiches with sweet potato tots and onion rings. A malt and a sundae to finish things off. Well worth the visit. Will return soon.

A small little diner known for their hamburgers (de-lish) and ice cream. Walk up and order at the window, sit at the picnic tables outside or sit inside. Decorated in Coca Cola decor and bits of nastalgia the dining room is small but welcoming. I gave only 4 ⭐ because tonight we were almost finished eating when my son finally received his vanilla shake we ordered twice. *Open seasonally. Credit card users will be charged a $.50 fee. Burgers with everything do not include tomato or lettuce, must ask for.

Yum! Driving through Illinois en route to Florida, stopped off to try their BBQ (Sloppy Joes) and were very happy, all 3 of us got them! Highly recommend!

Hot spot of activity off the beaten path. Definitely worth a detour. Outside seating is shaded and very clean. Ample parking and decent food. Service was FAST! Freebies at the register. So glad we visited.

Friendly spirited service. Just simply great food and delectable treats. And hey ... it's a drive-in, so the nostalgic atmosphere can't be beat. Only way to improve it would be to add some hot rod and bobby sock music.Need a great burger and rings with a chocolate malt? Here's your destiny.

These are hands down the best burgers and fries anywhere! We've been going to Dewey' s since I was a kid visiting my grandparents. I was on my way back to Des Moines from Tennessee and HAD to stop. Called in an order and got there with 10 minutes to spare. Very kind people working there - always!

We (in Clinton) used to have a place similar called Rudy's and nothing has compared to that same level of small-town burger kitchens like Dewey's does.My fiance introduced me here a few months ago for the first time and I've been back 3 or 4 more times since. The location may take a bit to cook your food, but because it's to order, fresh, and AMAZING. Their multiple flavors of ice cream and weekly flavor specials are one of a kind for a place like this. Love the dreamsicle flavored shake!Please, don't pass this one up! Expect an honest wait time of around 10 minutes for a typical meal with drinks, ice cream and shakes being the fastest.

Their food is amazing!! I had a hamburger, crinkle fries and a soft drink. Notice I wrote CRINKLE FRIES!?!?!? Amazing!!!! Plus free refills. The cost is more than McDonald's, but the food is worth it!!Sorry no photo, it smelled too good and I was hungry 👍

Food is good. Fountain drinks, teas and ice cream all taste like Farmer Cities terrible water. The after taste is not good, wish they could filter the water. Outside seating and closes at 8 pm, though it’s listed at 9 online.

We've been driving by here for many years going to LeRoy from Mahomet. We haven't stopped because they're cash only. We don't carry a lot of cash and don't think about it. Today we had cash, the thought and the dog; so we stopped. Galad we did, it was their last day of the season. The ice cream was delicious! The service was fast considering how busy it was. We have already made it a point to have cash and stop for food next year. Thank you!

Average drive up burger, onion rings are good but small portion, chocolate shake was good. Paid $15.33 for just one person. Puts additional .75 cent transaction fee on customer for using card. Over all not terrible but not great.

Cash only. Expensive for what it is, the hot dog was mushy. Didn’t try their ice cream so can’t comment on that but their food was not very good. The water I got was yellow so I passed on drinking that.

Overall...the customer service was excellent and the food was pretty good. I had a Bacon Cheeseburger... a little disappointed about the size... it was a little bigger than the size of a Slider you'd get from Arby's or any other fast food joint. The pictures I had seen online before we went definitely did the burger some justice. Big, thick and juicy hamburger photo to suck you in..... Thin, whimpy, disappointing burger in real life.... 🤦‍♀️*Catfished*

Great different flavors of ice cream. The lemon flavored they have daily is super yummy! There is no inside dining yet due to covid,but they have outside dining under two shelter roofs.

The shakes are amazing. The food itself is way over priced for the quality. I don't mind paying for quality I do mind being over charged for chicken strips that are a glorified chicken nugget. If I am gonna pay 5.00 for just strips (no fries, no sides) they should, in my opinion be actual chicken breast strips. I can go to Hucks or Caseys and get better strips. Haven't been impressed by anything other than the milkshakes.

Great steak burgers! Would destroy a steak and shake burger any day! Blizzard type shake was decent. Onion rings and cheese balls were amazing.

Good smash-style flat top burger. Thin and crispy outside layer to patties, but not overcooked. Try the lemon soft serve. A great place to stop after 9 holes at the local golf course.

I had a call in order was picking up for a family member. If food would have been mine I'd have not purchased it. We are under a mandatory mask order and neither employees or most of the customers were wearing masks. Inside this place it is impossible to maintain 6 ft apart. Seems to mostly be school kids working and they like to stand around and talk quite a bit even watched an employee give what I'm guessing was 2 friends since they were complaining about 1st day of Spanish class dishes of ice cream for free. This was all observed while waiting for my food which was told would be 10 to 15 mins and was there at 10 mins and waited almost another 15 mins for my order.

Hot fudge milkshake was the best! Their chili dogs were also very good. Would get off the interstate to hit this place on my way to Champaign every time. Just wish they didn't close for the winter.
