The room was booked on Priceline and I took my elderly mother. I told the desk she was disabled. The room had a really musty smell beds were not comfortable the shower and toilet didn’t have any handicap bars The shower floor was very slick and the shower head was rusty orange. Soap dispenser no soap but did have shampoo and conditioner water was dirty looking even after running it for a while. Toilet was not attached to floor well it moved. Shower curtain was molded on the bottom and rod was not stable. Bathroom seemed dirty. The window would not lock and it was tremendously hard to open. The door had a large gap all the was around it so you had light shining in. Our friend came to great us and he had his Pomeranian dog and the desk clerk came running out and said no dogs even though it was supposed to be pet friendly. I told him it wasn’t ours and he calmed but watch us until my friend left. Paid 180 for two nights.

Stayed for one night on a last minute booking so my expectations weren’t very high. The WiFi was pretty much only available in the lobby (weak to non-existent in the room and would not stay connected) and that was something I was expecting as part of my stay. The room appeared to be clean, however the bathroom had some areas that needed attention. When I turned the shower on, the water was brown at first until it ran clear after several seconds. The provided shampoo and body wash were full bottles attached to the shower wall and I didn’t find out they were empty until I was already in the shower. The mattress was one of the hardest, most firm mattresses I’ve ever slept on and the worst part of the whole stay was pulling back the covers to find stained sheets. Didn’t even bother with breakfast in the morning. Like I said—I didn’t expect much from an older hotel in a small farm town off the highway but still walked away very disappointed.Noteworthy details: Extremely firm mattresses. Landline phone is not connected or active so don’t try to use it to call the front desk. Bathroom needed attention in several areas and make sure you bring your own shampoo, conditioner, body wash etc—provided bottles were empty. Flat sheet on the bed had a large stain on it that put a damper on the whole stay.

Room charge was $95 + tax. Talked the guy down to $85 + tax. Paid for a room with a credit card. The weird thing was that the extra person charge was $30 cash. I was not allowed to charge the entire room. I was too tired to argue with the foreigner. Just reminded me of a scam or ripping off the owner.Rooms: Smoking is allowed in the room.

Room was very dirty and you could tell was not cleaned well on a regular basis.There were spider webs in the room corners, it smelled musty, the grime around the sink was gross and thick. The bathroom is extremely small and looked like it was barely cleaned; there was hairs in it. I did not feel comfortable taking a shower in there. The bedsheets were clean and so were the pillowcases. The carpet was absolutely filthy, walking barefoot made my feet covered in dirt and gunk. There is no pool. Said I had AAA, but no real discount was given. Paid $106, but did not feel I was given a deal. Staff decently nice, but I would not stay here again. Continental breakfast was the only thing I thought was nice. It had orange juice, bagels, and donuts.

Had a reservation Thursday Expedia for the wrong date. Called Esense. The room Thursday Expedia to fix. Expedia was wonderful. They called hotel and the hotel had them cancel and told them to have me call the hotel and they would see what they could do. When I called the hotel they said they had I room for $145 + tax. Mind you it was the same kind of room I had originally. So why did they not just switch date with Expedia? When I ask why. They said so they would get their money back. Which made no sence. The room Thursday Expedia was $105. These people ate crooks. They actually said to me they were doing me a favor! Called hotel chain and complained and they said they couldn't help that was up to hotel owner. Farmerville is a con! Watch out people!!

I have stayed in comparable hotels in comparable locations for much less money. When I travel, I typically stay in cheap hotels with the barest of amenities. This hotel met those expectations, but was about $40 more than I have paid for the same hotel quality in other small towns. It wasn't a particularly bad or good experience, but it should have been cheaper.

This place was the worst I've stayed in my life. The room was very musty hard to sleep. Mold growing g on the floor boards. The toilet seat was broken. The shower and floor was dirty and hair in the shower and on the floor. It was like reliving bates motel. Now keep in mind we were traveling for 10 hours and just needed to stop somewhere to rest. If we knew that it was this bad we would never of stopped here. And to top it off this room was 114.00!!

When we turned water in a bath, dark brown water came out. Dirty!! I don’t recommend to stay there. It was the graduation weekend for University of Illinois so we can’t get a room in Champaign. Otherwise, we would not stay.Rooms: Bath is old. Dark Brown water cane out.

Family owned, very nice people, sheets, towels, and room were clean. Only thing is the mold smell from the lack of use of the AC units. On my way to Sturgis SD, had to stop in from a rain storm. Lower cost. Very accommodating on motorcycle parking, let us park under the walkway to keep out of the rain. Again, great owners!

The room smelled musty, moldy, mildewy. The bedding was clean but rough. The bathtub was just plain gross when I went to use it the next morning—no I did not take even a shower in there. The lower portion of the shower curtain was discolored, mildew could be seen in the intake of the spa tub and there was mildew and mold around the edge of the tub. The grout job was horrid. Wish I had taken photos. Would not recommend this place unless you are desperate.

I usually don't buy everything I read in reviews and try to give positive reviews more often than not. In this case, I should have believed the reviews. This place was terrible. Check in was difficult, I had to bump the door with my shoulder to get it open. The room felt dirty. There is a difference between dated and poorly maintained, which this room proved itself to be in many areas. The bathroom door also wouldn't close, there was grunge around the base of the toilet and around the sink area. The furniture was threadbare and dirty looking and I found evidence of previous occupants between the bed and nightstand. It gets one star for having clean sheets.

I would not suggest for anyone to stay here. The staff was friendly but the motel itself is in shambles. Everything was below my expectations as far as cleanliness. I pulled back the sheets to find urine stains on the fitted sheets underneath. There were bugs EVERYWHERE. Dead bugs, live bugs...very unsettling. The towels were practically see through. I could not in good conscious sleep on the bed so I slept in my truck outside. Not worth the money or your time.

Ac in room barely works. Water has a rotten egg smell in shower, microwave cuts in and out. Knows on 2 or 3 lights don't work. I understand they only service rooms every 3 days, which is fine, but when I basically live in my room when I'm not on a job, when you do service my room, at least get the over filled trash nit just replace the towels

Dated unkempt hotel overpriced. Room comfortable. Stayed one of 2 planned nights. Manager rude harassing my elderly mother over dog. The day manager evidently didnt run separate charge or something. Instead calling number on reservation which declared the dog as well upon registration, she ambushed my elderly mother which upset her greatly. We left shortly after. Wont be back. Shame could've been our go to.

Well I stayed here one night, $82. I opened the door to my room to find a roach zipping across the table. I looked around, couldn't find anymore, but there were dead bugs that should've been vacuumed up. I stayed the next week and a half about a block up the street at the budget motel for $51, no living bugs to be found. The place could use a face lift, but it was decent. Weekly rates at budget, $231/wk.

I travel over 100 days a year for my job and stay exclusively in Wyndham properties, so I review each one. The parking lot was clean and well lit on arrival. Check in went smoothly. My room, a king handicap, was clean, with a comfortable bed and pillows. The doors are all exterior. WiFi speed was 23.75 megs up, 9.5 down via Ookla. Not all of the stated amenities were in place, there was no coffee maker in the room, fortunately I travel with my own but it's stated they have in-room coffee and they don't. My air conditioner/heater was newer and worked well. The television had a large selection of channels and a good picture. The breakfast area was clean but small and very limited. The snack and drink machines appeared to be inoperable but there is a convenience store next door. There is no guest laundry available that I saw. Clean and quiet hotel but no coffee maker and no guest laundry, price is a bit steep for not having basic needs for travelers.

Arrived approx 11pm. Had to use phone at entrance to get help. Front desk attendant came out promptly but seemed unprepared to receive guests or do professional public business. Difficulty hearing through thick glass. Room was clean and comfortable.

The room had a funky smell when I arrived but that went away soon after I turned the A/C on. I was congested all night so I don't know what in the room triggered that. There were some dirty areas along the baseboards.The room had a refrigerator and microwave, which were handy to have.

Don't expect much. Rates are okay but the rooms need a lot of updating. They at least have free cable and wifi. No bugs from what we searched and we were very thorough in our searching. If you have allergies, you will probably suffer. Overall, not the worst place I've stayed at. I would stay again if coming through.

Absolutely HORRIBLE. We went to the front desk to cancel our reservations for the next night due to plan change and he asked what was wrong with the room so we said- there was dry wall missing on the walls AND ceiling in the bathroom and the toilet was unstable, it rocked back and forth. He yelled at us saying we did it when we didn't. After that we went back into the room and discovered more problems, the light cover in the bathroom was hanging off the ceiling and barely even on, the shower head was falling out of the wall, and the "hot" water was cold. Definitely will not go back.

The maid was somewhat uninviting and for my entire stay the room was not supplied coffee; at times it also lacked towels, and my dirty towels were left for reuse. The room was quite and allowed a decent rest, and for the area it was centrally located.
