First timer. Heard from a friend they have some garden supplies. Went buy to see prices and all the critters they carry. Getting list together for supplies needed and will be back for purchases. Really good place for the niche they are filling for people.

Pretty decent reptile store. It's laid back and everyone is nice & chatty. Which is great when you're there to just piddle around and look at stuff, but frustrating sometimes when you're in a rush and are there because you need to grab something and go. Usually my experiences are pretty great though 😁

Tye-Dyed Iguana is a great place to host your kid's birthday party. We just had our 8 year old son's party there and the kids loved it. Plenty of private space (we had 15 kids + parents). Great education on various animals and a room big enough for food and cake. Would recommend to anyone who have kids that love reptiles.

Tye-dyed Iguana is a wonderful exotic pet store. It's a 45 minute trip for me but it's worth it. I will say the animals and supplies are a bit pricey, even for a local owned store that's not part of a chain. For strictly animals though, it's worth the trip and beats ordering online. I do think they should maybe have a website that accurately list what animals they have available, the current one is either outdated or just poorly run.

Are you kidding me?!?! I shouldn't have to say anything about TDI? If you're a serious pet owner, this is the premium store for you. Absolutely everything you need. Quality reptiles, amphibians and fish. They also have a large variety of plants and accessories. Not just a pet store but a showroom.

They in tune on what you getting then they going ask what you got then they going to help you with the rest & just all around about making your day & make sure you got what you need & make sure before leaving that you know all you need to know also today is Sunday & this the 6th pet store I been to today the 1st time I felt invited & welcome & it was all about me & my animals which I enjoyed my day & was very much over Satisfied .....Please if you love animals go there & I so sure you will feel just as I do, Can'twait to return. . 💯 🐁🐉🐠 🐌 🕷🕷🦗 🌴

Very cool place for all kinds of reptiles, amphibians and spiders! Also cool plants and terrariums! They also have carnivorous plants! Neat place definitely check it out. Staff is super friendly!

Seriously our favorite pet store. We live 3.5 hours away and everytime we come to the St. Louis area we have to stop here and always get lots of stuff for our creatures! Large varieties of animals, tank plants and accessories.

Great experience with getting started on a ball python setup for my oldest daughter.... Eric M was super professional and knowledgeable and incredibly helpful... He let me know about all types of stuff I could get and the function of each and was up front and honest about what the basic necessities were Vs trying to just sell the most $$ worth.... I get the feeling that everyone here truly cares for each and every animal in the building.... 12/10 would HIGHLY recommend and we will be coming back As Often as possible!Thus place has the coolest vibes ever too...... like a little mini zoo jus ducked off hiding in plain sight..... my Wife already has her eyes on a black n white king..... and I personally would like to get an albino as soon as I can afford such a beautiful animal.....

I can’t say enough about how great the staff was. I had a guy helping me that wasn’t laughing in my face as I’m trying to match a fish to my son’s betta that came to an untimely death after 3 and a half years. He was so patient and went the extra mile to help me find one to replace his beloved Archie. Although it’s not perfect, this was a very good replacement. Archie Jr. loves the pineapple under the sea too. I appreciate saving the laughter and judgement until after I left. Our dog died, then his Papa, and our fish was the icing I really didn’t like or want. Thank you for helping me keep the peace one more day.

FANTASTIC! One of the best pet stores I have ever been to. They emphasize in reptiles which is lacking we need more of this. The reptile care in store is great. Employees know what they are talking about. You can actually find morphs! Lots of options for setting up your tank! So many options for buyers in search of specific reptiles. Great frog options as well and some fish! They were really busy when I bought my corn, and it looks like they need more staff. But despite being busy, I felt taken care of with some patience. And they asked lots of questions to ensure proper care, which needs to be done more.Also meet Powder, my Tessera Striped Corn

I always buy pet food for my exotics here—good prices and selection. Recently discovered they sell hydroponic supplies, perfect for growing peppers! Also, they have a great collection of cacti. A one-stop shop for my diverse needs.

This place is awesome! It has a huge variety of reptiles and everything you would need to keep them happy. It also has a great selection of plants, hydroponics, and fox farm products. Highly recommended if you have reptiles or special plants that need a more tropical touch.

I love this place. I got a ball python for Christmas and I get live mice for him here. He’s extremely picky and won’t eat anything except live. So I love this place. They r also extremely friendly and helpful and quick.

Went for the first time and absolutely loved it! So much to look at and choose from! Animals are well taken care of, great plant selection and cork bark/driftwood selection. Their feeder insects/mice/etc are priced well. ALL the staff were extremely friendly and ready to help if needed. A lot of their supplies are cheaper than most other pet stores! I HIGHLY reccommed stopping in even just to look! I will 100% be coming back, thank you for a great experience!! 🐢🐍🐸🐟

Love this place, we go at the very least once every two weeks. It's worth the over an hour drive for us! They offer alot of different reptiles and amphibians and have alot of cool events!

This is such a cool store! It's worth going in just to see the turtles in the back, nevermind the very knowledgeable and helpful staff. They have a good selection of fish and aquarium supplies you can't find at box stores. Was very pleased and will be back often.

If you are in the market for anything that doesn’t have fur or feathers … this is the place to come! The entire staff is amazing & so knowledgeable. If they can’t answer your questions then there probably isn’t an answer. The animals they sell are beyond well taken care of. You will not be disappointed with anything you purchase & will probably come back for more (I have!). Not only do they have these fabulous critters but they have everything you would need to make them the best place to live. They have made a lifelong client out of me!

I've been to quite a few pet stores, but the Tye-Dyed Iguana has an extensive selection/collection of live animals that I've never seen anywhere else. The staff was helpful, professional, and knowledgable about their reptiles. My kids and I had a blast inside their store. My daughter bought a snake, but we had to come back 24 hours later because he was just fed. Overall amazing experience that I will tell everyone about.

This is legitimately the best pet shop I have ever been to. Knowledgeable and friendly staff, clean and organized store, an excellent variety of animals all thriving in beautifully planted bioactive tanks, they also have tons of different plant varieties that will work well in an arid tank versus tropical tank and tons of decor options, numerous isopod cultures, and the largest collection of cork bark I’ve ever seen! We were pretty stoked about getting to see the uromastyx. We will definitely be back.

Incredible store. You can tell by the care they put into their enclosures that they care about everyone of their animals. I was very impressed with their knowledge, as well as their selection of animals, fishes, and plants. Will definitely be going back. Wonderful place.
