The veterinarian clinic that comes by here a couple times a month is very much worth your time if your animals needs updated vaccinations. They were very kind and knowledgeable, overall great experience to the point were I was asking myself if my regular vet is worth the time and hassle. The answer to that is no, seeing as these folks did the same amount of work at half the cost and with little to no stress to my animal. They allowed me to assist in keeping my very skittish dog calm, most other places want to drug them and hold them for a few hours for monitoring the sedations effects.

two ladies working near the aquarium section were conversing enough to make us feel as if we were bothering her by asking her to get snails for us. lady with green money pieces in her hair made an annoyed face to her coworker when we asked for help, proceeded to give us dead snails when my family pointed out different ones, and flipped the leaking water bag upside-down in a bag. was quick to run back to continue her conversation with her coworker. super rude and shouldn't be working in a customer service environment!!

For some reason, l received a 20% off coupon in an email. WOW! I was happy to use it on a large bag on cat food. The store carries many varieties of up scaled foods. It is always clean. I will be back.

Despite potential deals on supplies, spare yourself the frustration. There's never enough staff to assist, and they won't allow you to introduce your young child to a pet without buying it first. Not the customer-friendly experience one would expect. Really recommend looking up the rescues and small businesses that are nearby!

Great service! Dog groomer was wrongly reviewed! This is why you must have your receipts! Customer posted a cute before picture which was not accurate at all. The dog was severely matted when she brought him in and the groomer informed the pet parent prior to servicing that the dog would have to be cut down so she could start over! Let's keep the lies inside and review properly! No names, but the photos are attached!

This location needs to be investigated, Carrie, I assume is the general manager and is very rude to not only customers, but her employees as-well. I overheard her talking to her employee in the next isle over with utter disrespect, and was also gossiping about her employees saying some very nasty things. I eneded up putting my items back, and leaving the store. I eventually went to Petsmart.(Edit) Reply To Owner: Don't worry about sharing it with your team because it probably wont be communicated effectively to them. I will be reporting this location to the better business bureau. Learn how to talk to your staff and maybe you wont be so short staffed all the time.

Came to the Fairview Heights store was told I can’t buy any fish for 40 minutes or longer only one person working store. Drove 30 minutes almost to get there. Petco needs to have adequate staffing.Update: Gave this store another chance again they did the same to me and 3 other customers all at once there was no one at register and 2 people working. This was today 2/17/24 at 7:30pm

They make a big deal about being 15 mins early for vaccination appointments but yet they take over an hour to see you, I normally go to the Brentwood location and I am in and out, I came here because the appointment was a week sooner but next time I rather wait the extra week for prompt service!

I will be reporting you all to the better business bureau and OSHA. I am a minor, and I went to use the WOMENS RESTROOM, to which I came across a a whole man using the bathroom stall with the door WIDE OPEN, inside of it despite the gender signs. This is sickening and I felt very uncomfortable.

I was very disappointed with your manager Carrie. Her unwillingness to help or direct me was disheartening. I wanted chewable heart worm and flea medicine for my dog. She was very curt with her response stating "we don't carry chewables for dogs only topical." She then abruptly turned and walked off. I looked at your website before I came and it stated that Petco, not only carried, but also had chewables in stock. I just calmly accepted her unwillingness to help me and I went to the cashier Payton. She was awesome in helping me get what I needed for my family pet. Trans number 191276

Around the 5th of March we took my furbaby in to get groomed , after 2 hours we went to pick her up, she was suppose to be finished as my in home care person had to take me home . Adrian was still in the back and the girl in the store, cashier said she would go get her, Adrian to bring my furbaby out. Adrian came out and pushed her into me very rude , she was not done. Went home and I called them, they put me on speaker which I told them , you did not have my permission. A couple of days later my Misty was sick she caught kennel cough cost me about 400.00 and she is still sick. I pray that she gets better.she is really sick. No apology. They need to be held responsible. Close down and clean up and sanitize. Never again. My Misty is suffering.have my permission without my in home caregiver. I fee

The rating was based on the few products that I can find there as opposed to Petsmart times. Whenever I visit this location, I'm never greeted, nor is there anyone around to help assist in the aquatics area .

I've always enjoyed shopping at the Fairview Heights store. The employees were always very personable and happy to answer any and all questions I might have come up with. I had an older cat who had food allergies and could only eat canned food. I loved your in house line of cat food. It was the most reasonably priced grain free, all natural I could find, and with my senior boy weighting in at about 15 pounds he would easily consume 3 cans a day. I needed that savings just to keep up with him. 🙂

First time taking my dog here for grooming as we just moved here from out of state. The groomers are super nice and loved my dog. They were very gentle with him as he adjusted to a new location. He will be back every month for his grooming needs.

The groomer cut all of my shi-poo's hair off. She even took her eyebrows off. The cut was uneven and looks horrible. It looks like children cut her hair off. I let her know before I left the store and called corporate.

I’ve tried, tried and tried again but literally, I’ve bought 30+ fish from this location and only 2 of those fish are still alive. I buy fish all the time from places and this is the only location I’ve ever lost so many fish. They obviously have terrible suppliers or don’t care for the fish properly. Never buy fish from here or you risk infecting your tanks. Luckily I always quarantine but it’s not worth even that. Just buy them somewhere else.

I came into the store yesterday with my 7 week old puppy Winston. We were greeted by just about every employee, but David also stopped by and gave us a new puppy coupon book that had info about puppy training classes (which we really appreciated) and then when I went to check out, the associate went above and beyond to help me register my account and go through my coupon book to see if I could save any money with my transaction. I haven't received such help without asking in a long time, and it was really awesome to see how much they care. Winnie and I will most definitely be back. (the associate was a young woman, with blonde hair. I forgot to catch her name, but thank you!!!)

Every time I go into this Petco, I always end up talking to one of the nice people that work at petco. All the people that work there are very knowledgeable and give me good advice on whatever I'm asking about. I highly recommend this particular Petco to anyone that needs help with finding something for their pet, because this store has very knowledgeable people that are very helpful.

My driver delivered a cat stand to my door. I went out to retrieve it and the driver saw me struggling with the package and offered to bring it into the house (I wasn’t strong enough to carry it) what a considerate, kind young man to assist me, he stopped what he was doing and he didn’t want anything from me, just wanted to help!
