Used to buy Coke products here regularly. Last month 2 liter bottles were 2 for $5. Last week 2 for $5.50. Today, $3/each. If I want to pay regular prices, I'll go somewhere that regularly cleans the store and mops their floors and does not leave the aisles cluttered creating a fire hazard.

I have to say, the male employee was super nice & helpful on 2-17-24 in the evening. The Store was clean & organized, such a big difference from the Belleville location on Idler Rd. Which I will never go back to, due to very rude employees, not helpful, empty shelves or isles constantly blocked by products.

I like shopping here but I hate when the older white lady thin with sandy brown hair check me out. She doesn't smile she looks like she's been sucking on lemons if you have coupons and they don't attach she just says do you want it or not. Unlike the other women who try to help you. Some people just need to stock and not be the face of DG.

Rude lady works there. She yells at customers and acts like it's a problem just for her to ring up your items. I'm done going to this location after today. I was trying to enter my telephone number on the keypad so I could use my digital coupons and she exited out of it before I could finish. No one was able to use their digital coupons today bc I guess she didn't feel like it.

idk who the short lady is that’s there right now but she walking around yelling because the store is supposed to be closing. there was no sign on the door or anything. she’s walking around with an attitude mad at the customers. Me and my wife are known at this store but whoever she is either needs to be gone or trained on how to talk to customers. yelling and being rude is not it. love the girl with the glasses and ponytail though.

The short lady with black hair is a bully. The way she spoke to and treated the other employees was absolutely disgusting. She was extremely inappropriate and unprofessional.

I hate to have to change my review of this store but it seems this location is also a victim of nobody wanting to work or the employees are victim to dollar general deceptive business practices or poor treatment of their employees. Nonetheless I went tonight to get food for my cat and as soon as I walk in the door I see a rather large woman with no pants or shorts on. I wish I could say I am joking but I am not. I approached an employee and asked him if there is a rule that you have to wear some kind of pants in the store... His reply was "what is your definition of pants??" Shorts?? I knew the conversation wasn't going to go anywhere so I finished my shopping and went to the checkout where I asked this employee the same question... He stood there nervously silent. I asked him, "Didn't your mom teach you that it's not appropriate to go to the store in your underwear?, if I was doing that I would have been asked to leave." He really said, "yes you would." The moral of the story is I am glad my daughter wasn't with me and God help us, now people go to the store in their underwear.

I often shop at dollar general. I like the selections they have. The employees are not that attentive. They are usually busy doing other things. However, I know what I need so that part doesn't matter.The prices are decent and the store is always clean. Checking out is a breeze and the cashiers are pleasant. Parking is good.

Only 1 register open while 10 people in line..and the first person ran multiple transactions(6 or 7) from the same cart! Another employee was on break and she only came outafter people were in line forever.The store was dirty and boxes were strown about.A real dump! Either hire more staff or just close the Fairview Hgts store.Its a real embarrassment !!!

I live 5 minutes away, so we visit this location often. Just stopped in to grab some dog food. They've come pretty far since my last review. Customer service is still lacking, but better. Store is cleaner and better stocked as well.

There's a sign on the clearance that's says 50 percent more off of the clearance price shown so I'm buying 8 books and the cashier wasn't ringing up 50 percent more off the price that's on it...I told him and he says we'll i have to key all that in...I said I will get your sign and here I said take it down after you key my discount in so you don't have to bother with it....what a lazy cashier...I have to key it all in....well don't put that up unless your going to give it to a customer there's your sign!

I only visit this location because it’s 30 seconds from my home and the family dollar is even worse than this place. Management is non existent and treats you like a burden when they have to come from the back and help someone ring out. They have a character working named Ken that is locally famous for screaming at customers to the point of un comport and disrespect. I work in highland so I will be taking my business to the new St Jacob location.

The employees at this store are absolutely wonderful. I had huge shopping order - two carts full - and the manager and every other employee were incredibly helpful. I can't thank them enough. They were patient and kind and made sure I left with everything I needed.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. This time they had what I wanted...but on other visits they did not have some of the advertised items (even though it was the 1st day of the sale). Kind of hit and miss on selection.

It's always clean .the cashiers. They speak time you walk in the doors. They will say to you that you must wear a mask. And say thank you for shopping with us when you leave the store.

This place is constantly a giant mess. I don't blame the associates, though. It seems like they are constantly running on as few of people as possible. That is no way to treat your store or your employees.

I love dollar general. I used to shop at the Ofallon store but it became so cramped and dirty and the things they usually had never seemed to actually be shelved (always still in the delivered cardboard cartons). The new store on hwy 50 is exactly the opposite. Clean store, spacious aisles, legitimately polite cashiers and product actually put on the shelves. I can't really ask for much more. Best buy there in my opinion is the milky way "simply caramel" candy bar. Beyond wonderful. Hmmm..maybe I shouldn't have said that (translated: darn it, I hope no one buys them out of it and I am left without any 😰)

I used to love this store, great prices for a conveniently located store (less than 5 minutes from my house. The assistant manager, Jessica, is RUDE, NEVER smiles, IGNORES customers, is abrupt and snotty when asked a question, & is just an all around UNPLEASANT person. Go to another DG location if you can!!!

I visit the DOLLAR GEN.STORE TODAY .THE MALE CASHIER HAD A PROBLEM WITH GETTING INTO THE RIGHT SRCREEN R SOMETHING FOR ME TO SWIOE MY CARD .HE ASKED FIR ASSISTANCE AND THAT MALE (MGR.)??TOOK A DEEP BREATH AS IF HE WAS ANNOYED.THEMALE CASHIER WAS EXTREMELY SLOW SCANNING THE ITEMS THE NEXT CUSTOMER SAID "SOME ONE GOT SOME SLOTH IN THEIR BLOOD"BUT THE CASHIER EITHER IGNORED HIM R HE JUST DIDNT RESPOND🤔.NO GREETING I GUESS BECAUSE IT WAS A LONG LINE "" DIDNT NOTICE ME AND MY SON.

Nice workers, okay selection. You know, it's a dollar store where everything costs dollars. Just like anywhere else, but this stuff is super cheap. So if you want to pay dollars for cheap stuff, this is the place for you.
