I have always had a wonderful experience with this dairy queen. I can't believe the reviews I'm seeing on here. I live in Mount Vernon where our dairy queen is horrible. Not only the service but the food as well, you get soup for milkshakes and everything you order is messy and nasty. Fairfield Dairy Queen has really good service and the most delicious treats. I've never had any of the girls there speak to me in anyway that wasn't sweet and professional. Keep up the good work!!!

I went at 1 pm roughly on Nov 6 2023. Me and my wife used coupons but the total seemed unusually more than it should have been and I wasn't given a receipt and my order was incorrect when brought to the table . When the manager came to address my concerns she got very rude and told me we obviously couldn't afford to eat there and probably shouldn't come back. I will be telling all my friends about this experience. It wouldn't surprise me if she pocketed the extra money.

I ordered a 4 piece chicken strip basket with large drink. Menu said $6.47 and add drink to any basket for $1.40. I end up I paying $8.19 for basket and 49 cents for my drink. They told me there was nothing they could do about it. It’s 2023, y’all need to fix your menu pricing. That’s misleading and misguiding. If I would’ve known that, I would’ve went somewhere else where I’m not spending $10 just for myself. Also there’s no parking other than by the front door now so I had to drive somewhere just to eat my food.

My fiancée order food from DoorDash and they got our food and drink items wrong. And with me being a type 1 diabetic taking a drink of regular soda expecting it to be diet is frustrating and poor service on the staffs part. It doesn’t stop there I called in my order being wrong and the manager just sat there and tried to argue with me about what I ordered and struggled to even remember what I told her was messed up.

So the food is good but when it comes to keeping the word of a manager to a customer from the owner her self is a complete LIE!!!!! They do bad business and don't deserve to have people money, it's sad that they won't uphold a promise to the people that come through. Always remember two things, one we pay yalls bills. Without customers you have no money flow so your bills go unpaid and 2 GOD is always watching your actions and everyone will answer for being dirty towards other humans. Update 6/4/2023 we tried to come again and sent our son and bad again fries are old and nasty and chicken Was burnt and to hard can't even eat, dod not give all drinks. Just a joke dude. We have contacted corporate and if bad business is yalls way than you should be made to close doors PERIOD.

Food was fine. Normal DQ experience which I enjoy. They forgot to make our ice cream and we planned to grab it and carry out so we waited and waited. Then asked about it and no one was making it. So they waited in all the customers in line then finally worked us in. We were able to eat all of our good while waiting our "turn" for our ice cream. If I wouldn't have already paid I might have just said nevermind. But what's a trip to DQ without ice cream. We could never turn our backs in DQ ice cream.Would definitely stop again if we are passing through town, but the evening staff has some organization and prioritizing skills to learn.

We go here at least once a week. We get their 4 piece chicken strip basket. We enjoy the senior discount as well. Highly recommend their ice cream to.

I purchased (2) 4 piece chicken strip baskets.....Lisa Cushman at the window was very gracious and kind. Our baskets were just great and I was given our customary senior citizens discount...THANK YOU DAIRY QUEEN and CREW 👍😃🇺🇲

We stopped on the way home from Mt. Vernon, Il. to get a treat, in Fairfield, we just got ice cream. My wife ordered a Blizzard, which she loves, she ordered a Butterfinger blizzard, I ordered a Moolatte. The reason I like the Moolatte is the coffee and mocha taste and also they're usually thicker than a malt, which is another reason they're one of my favorites, but this one fell short on the latter. It was no thicker than milk. I was a little disappointed. The reason I like them is because of the thickness, this is the reason for the 3 stars, everything else was fine at the Dairy Queen.

I went thru the drive thru last night & I was treated awful by the girl Ashley .everyone else was very nice but she had an bad attitude,she wanted to argue & laughed in my face. I will not tolerate being treated like that just bc my order was wrong..what happen to the customer is always right? I have respect for people when they show me respect but when it comes to 54 cent she should of never said anything negative.

Who doesn't like a Dairy Queen? Glad to see this place under good ownership now. 15 years ago this place would have had an average rating of 0.1 Thankfully those days are gone. Great ice cream treats; good regular food; and they now even offer breakfast!!!

Super disappointed. Staff was extremely rude today and waited over 20 minutes to get my food. Used to super love this one but after today I have 0 plans on going back. Don’t recommend.

A couple days ago they forgot our sandwich with the two meals we bought. Went back to get the sandwich as they offered to fix that for us but they forgot our cheese curds with one of the meals.We get that fixed a second time and we come home and my sandwich isnt even correct.Dont recommend coming here or at least triple check your bags.Idk how they got three things wrong in a row.

This is a great Dairy Queen location! The service is prompt, and the staff is very friendly. It was remodeled a few years ago, and has been kept so clean and accessible for the community. They have amazing desserts and “hot eats” obviously, but DQ low-key has one of the best honey mustards of any fast food chain out there.

I work at the Fairfield one in Illinois and it has friendly staff and excellent customers. Loyal customers at that I see the same people come in everyday and they always seem happy to be here. They are at their home away from home.
