I love this Ace store! The people are so friendly and they have everything you could think of for hardware purposes and diy projects. They even have stuff for making your own beef jerky and wrapping your own meats at home. I am obsessed and so is my husband! 😝 We will definitely continue to shop here and send all our friends here as well!

Reserved an excavator to do some digging on my property and had it all set along with a professional level. I had not heard from Ace so I called about payment. The employee stated that in his opinion, he didn’t think I should use this piece of equipment for my job. I previously spoke with a group in Bloomington (Midwest Construction) and they said it was possible. He was also the person I spoke to when I came out to review the E35 bobcat the weekend before. He complained to me on that day about a previous customer that damaged some hardware that he had to fix. This employee told me that he would prefer that I rented elsewhere. This was at 4pm on the Friday before it was to be delivered Monday. I’m sure the equipment is there to be rented but obviously not. Sorry to see this because I always received quality service from other Ace Hardware stores nearby.

Love this place! If they don't have it, they can tell you where to get it. That is not very common in today's retail market. Its hard enough to find help in big box stores, and when you do "they have no idea of how to help", but our friends at Nussbaum are on point!!!!I'll drive 30 miles to shop here, its peace of mind. Thank you to all the employees at Nussbaum.

I went to Nussbaum Ace in search of some hard to find yard items and was helped by a very customer oriented young man who made sure I had everything I needed. Even as a nonlocal I felt like family. I'll take small-town family owned any day over some of the larger more impersonal stores.

We stopped to see if they had regular canning lids and they had plenty. We took time to look the store over and was amazed at how much they stock. I believe if you are looking for something this is definitely the place to visit.

Nice Ace Hardware, with good knowledgeable staff. But they need to improve the parking situation. Only a maximum of 10 cars can park there at a time and that is only when a customer knows how to park. Many times I have tried to shop there but no where to park, so I would go to Pontiac instead.

This business is an incredible asset to our community. The breadth of products they offer and their rental options are unmatched in a town our size. The Nussbaums, Stuckeys, & all the other employees genuinely care about their customers and do everything they can to make their customers happy. They have tremendous expertise and I'm constantly surprised (shouldn't be) that they usually have what I need when I go in! I'm extremely happy we have this top notch business in our town!
