Great little grocery store with a fantastic butcher shop. I picked up some 3/4 inch pork steaks that were cut fresh thus morning. He also cut a pork butt for me while I waited. They have a good selection of fresh meat at a good price. Schenk's - You can't beat their meat!!

Old school meat market. Fresh cuts at great prices. Favorites are Ribeye (cut any thickness you want), fresh made bulk sausage, bacon (we get it in a 30lb case), ground chuck and thick, thick cut pork steaks. And don't forget the bacon! Straight shot south on Rt 3 to Evansville. Less than an hour from St Louis. Very much worth the trip.Update...the bacon comes in 15 lb case now. Still can't beat the price!
