Been buying paint here. Nice staff helpful and they have a lot of nice stuff grills, and outdoor decor. Energy has a big store and a cute cat that meets the public in the store.

I brought SKU numbers for 16 pieces of hardware to the cashier with a beard. I think his name was Matt. He didn't know how to use a SKU number to check out the hardware. He had me go get the prices instead. Please better train your cashiers.

Nice people, Great place. However...please post signs you have cats indoors! My husband had to run to a store and grab benadryl after leaving today- Cat Allergies!

Very nice and helpful folks. High prices on some stuff, but location is convenient and they have some things the bigger stores might not. Manager is a gem--she helps out all over the store, and if she doesn't know something, she'll find out for you. It's a pleasure shopping there.

The older woman was very rude to me and to the younger female cashier. I drove about 25 miles to pick up a replacement part for a Zippo hand warmer. The ace website showed it available at the energy location and I called before I left home to verify. The person who answered said yes we have this in stock, one left. When I got there and asked where I could find it, the young female cashier asked the older woman for help who immediately got rude with her and myself. Telling the younger lady that she should not have verified anything without visually seeing it and that the information on their computer is for their eyes only. I laughed & told her that the internet verified it was in stock at her store and ask her if I should not have gotten that information free from Google? I took my time to browse around the store at which point the older woman came to me with the replacement part in hand and apologized. After her initial mood and reaction and the way she treated her younger employee the apology was way too late. I will likely never shop at the store again even if I lived nextdoor.

I absolutely love all of their outdoor decorations yard ornaments the workers are very nice and friendly I love it so much I want to go there a sick collection of gnomes. And the house cat is ligit as well.

This store always seems to have things in stock vs huge brand name stores (wallyworld). The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The only reason I gave it 4 out of 5 stars, is their prices are a little on the steep side. Being a smaller chain its understandable a small increase on items price but $3.00-5.00 increase on smaller items is a bit rich, in my own opinion. But still an excellent store if you need something quick or can't find it elsewhere.

This place had my stihl chainsaw for months, when I dropped it off in 2021 I was told that wait times were long due to shipping delays and parts availability which was fine. 6 months after I dropped it off I get a call, not to tell me it's done but to ask what it was doing there. Apparently there was a change in staff and nobody knew what was supposed to be done to it. I explained what I needed and was told I'd get a call when it was done. I just called after a few months after that and I've been told they don't have it and it's been disposed of and they person I spoke to said I wasn't here then so idk but it's not here.

Do not I repeat do not take your chains to be sharpened at this location they ruined one of my chains and did not sharpen the other two but yet charged me then I made a BBB report for the way they treated me and said I was a liar and my chains were used well of course I put a chain on the chainsaw and tried to cut limbs with and realized it was not sharpened The owner lied to the BBB and said I picked up my chains and looked over them and I did not I had an employee pick them up and they also told the Better Business Bureau that they told me to leave because I was I right before they called the cops which is not true I am a member of Ace Hardware but I will never return to this location

They have a wide variety of hardware and I really like that I can go in and buy a single bolt so I can make sure that's what I need before I invest in a box. Sometimes it is hard to find what I'm looking for tho. The store cat is a bonus.

I have shopped this store for years. Through its closing and re opening I truly have enjoyed shopping there. The past few times I have been there the lady that appears to be the new store manager has been rude just about every time I have had an encounter with her then this evening they closed the store at 6 pm? It has closed at 7 pm for as long as I can remember and she clearly lied to several patrons in the parking lot stating they had closed at 6 like always.

I visit frequently to get keys made for rentals. They are always friendly and Ferris is so helpful. He really knows a lot about the store! 5 star worker!

Very poor attention to lawn mower repair. Had to return equipment to finish the same repairs requested. Do not expect to get a piece of equipment back running like new. Turn around time is extremely long. As a matter of fact I am still waiting right this moment and I've waited months now. Great for hardware.

Great for when you are in a bind & don’t want to go to Carbondale or Marion. Little bit higher prices, but worth it when you don’t have to drive to another town. Great customer service. Alexis & Zack are always very helpful.

The Stihl weed eater that I needed for myself and home was very difficult to locate. When I was informed by another Ace Hardware store that the Energy store was a true Stihl dealer and may have the one I needed and gave me their number I called a man by the name of Jeff took my call they had only one in stock he offered to take it off the shelf and put it behind the counter with my name on it to give me the time to drive there to get it. He kept his word the store and its people took excellent care of me. I appreciate such great service and care about their customers!!

I have saved allot of time and money fully utilizing their fittings and fasteners section to its fullest. There's a really awesome older dude that knows where everything is and that is extremely helpful when you know specifically what you are looking for but don't know where to look. He's like a walking card catalog.

Dropped my screens off three weeks ago at this point. Was originally told it would be done in a week. After two weeks, I started calling to get just an ETA. I could never get an answer. Was told they were busy and I could just come pick them up and take them elsewhere. The next day voila! I got a call that they were done. 5 of the 6 screens were ok. The 6th screen was stretched, not in the frame and unacceptable. I asked if they could please expedite the repair. The manager told me I would have it the next day. Another week, still missing the screen. I’d just say screw it at this point and get my remaining screen and have someone else do it but it is already paid in full. I would not recommend if you actually want anything in a timely manner or decent customer service.

Convenient since it's in town. Sometimes they have what u need & sometimes they don't. A little higher priced on most things compared to Menards or Home Depot but what can u expect from a local small town hardware store.I use them frequently because of convenience.

Ferris helped me. He is fantastic, he assembled a LP hose for my rv that had non standard hose fittings. I just went to another ACE hardware that is nearby and they could not help. Ferris represents what ACE hardware is all about, friendly customer service with skills.

Never count this location out. Always check their clearance after Christmas. You'll be shocked at the items and the discount. Some of the friendliest staff you'll ever meet. They talk to you like they've known you for years.

Went to stihl Dealer they has very expensive bolts. They wanted $8 for bolts yall. Can you belive that. I went in there to buy wedges and wouldn't you know a saw dealer didn't have any wedges. None not a one. I should report them to stihl what kinda dealer doesn't have wedges.
