Changing my review from when the store first opened. First of all do not do the DG pickup thing. They hardly ever get pick up orders at this store and they didn't even know I ordered through the app so mine wasn't even ready at the appropriate time and the app is not connected to the store so they were out of a few things. In the store did seem like they were out of a few things and it was a regular Tuesday during the week. The employees that are currently working there are okay but nowhere near as nice as the ones that worked there in the years past. The employees in Manhattan store are much nicer and the store seems more well stocked than Elwood so I will drive the extra mile or two just to shop there.

This store is convenient and has a decent selection with reasonable prices. The employees are friendly but it seems under- staffed at times. They are never cranky about having to stop cleaning the store or stocking the shelves to go up front to ring up sales, but it has to be a pain to stop one task to do another task since they probably have plenty of assignments to complete depending on their shifts. The store is usually neat but on occasion there is an area that needs to be straightened, but I'm guessing that's because some shopper has gone through and been careless, and not because the employees are not keeping the place clean. The restroom is clean and the carts work well. Prices are pretty comparable to other discount stores and they stock the essentials so they most likely have what you need. It's just too bad they don't carry meats and vegetables!

This may be your average Dollar General but the staff is super friendly and helpful. It is a quick and convenient location. Also, they carry my gum I like which I can't find anywhere else. If you need cheap snacks this is the place to go.

Natalia is the best!! She definitely is the face of Dollar General. Always greets everyone, let's you know when there is a sale. She works very hard, and no matter what, she always has a smile for everyone! We are lucky to have her in this community!!

I love this place. The staff is so kind and helpful. Like all Dollar Generals the aisles are tight but its plenty of parking, easy to see from the highway, and full of great deals and products.

If Dollar General doesn't have it, you don't need it. Nice little place for one stop shopping. Prices are great. The personnel are all very helpful. Easy parking, quick friendly service.

I'm so happy to be able to run in and out within mins. Employees are always so nice, store is very clean! We are grateful to have a nice little store in our little corner of the world.

Cashier not friendly, didn't speak when I walked in, but spoke to everyone else. Not very helpful when I asked for help, very dry no smile or anything. Was more interested in speaking to the delivery guy.

BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE Will never shop there again.... I was waiting in line and a cashier was helping someone and there was a old guy in front of me. A second cashier walked up and started organizing something behind the counter. A white couple walked up behind me and the second cashier says hey Mr. & Mrs. So and so ... come on, let me ring you guys up.... me and the old guy infront of me just look like why didnt you help one of us... then Mrs... So and so says "I guess its who you know" and shrugs..... I didnt appreciate that.... I was spending money in there at least 3 times a week.... BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE

Not happy at all with the masking situation in this store. Of the 4 people in front of us, 3 didn't have masks on and the one that did had it under her nose. Employee behind the counter also was wearing her mask under her nose. I won't be back. Waiting for Manhattan store to open and will see how things go there.

Great store with wonderful as seen on tv items. It would have been 4 stars due to a few loud(yelling) customers. But, that shouldn't go against the store.

We were traveling and got lost because there were roads closed. We got directions from the employees who were very kind and helpful. They also had the items we needed to purchase.

Employees are extremely rude, wont even acknowledge you when you walk in and will continue the gossip filled conversation about how bad other employees are while you basically check yourself out.

Only down side is the never seem to know what there sale signs say I want to get something and there is a 50% off sign and get to the counter and they say it's not on sale then fix ur signs it's not my job

wow the employees are super rude here asked for key to bathroom and the cashier acted like i ruined her life hope management finds better employees in the future cause this should be a five star Dollar General what a shame
