I really like this store for pet treats and food for my fur babies. I gave 4 stars right now only because they were out of the Better Belly treats my dog loves. I also like that you can get extra reward points for reading an article or watching a video. I like the other location in Berwyn because I can get my dog's nails trimmed or even wash my dog if he would even stand for that. That location is newer and has a fresh look. I think the Elmwood Park location could use a little face lift.

A fairly wide selection of products. The animals seem happy and well cared for. The staff is helpful without being overbearing; Joan helped me and she was awesome.

I ordered online for pickup. It was so convenient and I am happy to support local businesses. I get my dog food, feral cat food, dog vitamins and treats here. I am a very satisfied customer.

My go to place. I don't even attempt to go to that oooother place. I love that they deliver and place it where I ask them to. Delivery is usually that day if made in the mornings.

I had not been in here in a few months and when I went in for a visit today, the place looked pretty ragged. I found out that the store is under new management and I have to say that it has really gone downhill since my last visit in January. I would recommend their Elston location over this location over this one. When I came in today, no one greeted me, nor did they seem to care that I was in the store. No one even offered to help me get my Dog food to the car. The Elston location at least caters to their customers needs.Went back again this week and almost had a stack of fish tanks, that were not secure, fall on me. Their rawhide bins had dead bugs in them and one of the employees mentioned a rat problem. This store has gone downhill in the last 6 or 7 months.

I would like to say our first experience with the grooming dept. From making the appointment to the text on appointment time. Amanda greeted us and Catrina was his groomer. Coming from PetSmart this was a whole other type of service. Exceptional and great customer service and explained everything very thoroughly. When we picked him up his groomer explained everything and was wonderful. We will be repeat customers . Thank you for your wonderful work and everyone’s kindness.

Never have a good experience with this location. Ordered for delivery and was not sent an email before hand to let me know my order was on the way. I was not home when I got called that my driver was outside with my order. He was upset because my gate was locked, but I had no way of preparing for the order without a time window. After him yelling at me that it was heavy I told him he could just leave it outside my gate because no one was home to receive it. He called me back shortly after hanging up and yelled at me again that the order was heavy but he tossed it over my gate. He blamed me for the pain he was feeling from his recent hip surgery, even though I told him he could just leave it outside. I didn't receive an email about my order being on the way until after I received my delivery confirmation, which was sent about 2 hours after the actual delivery. I feel like the store should have added some warning about the size of the package so the driver could reject if he felt he wasn't up to it. Instead I got yelled at on two different calls for something out of my control. It also would have helped to get an email that my order was on the way so I could actually leave my gate unlocked for the appropriate delivery timeframe. I don't feel comfortable leaving it open all day. This is the second unpleasant delivery with this location. The first time I had to call to get my order sent because they forgot to send it out. When I've gone in person I've received dirty looks from one of their cashiers. The entire team is unprofessional and just stands around gossiping.

I like this store. It's clean and they have lots of options to choose from plus consistent sales. The employees are helpful, friendly, and polite! They're also patient while I search for codes on the Instagram app (yay for useful sales!) or return something my cats decided to reject. Even the guys who stock shelves in the cat food section ask if they can assist me. Always a good in-store experience. P.S. I just had them deliver a shipment to me and it went very well. Easy too.

Your employees are helpful and kind. I was looking for a proplan dog food for my dog, a male employee started helping me and he was so sweet and listened to my crazy complaints about why my dog needed that specific brand and flavor. We were finally able to find it after searching for a bit, its hard to find nice genuine people anywhere now a days.

Always great staff that are willing to help people out...large food selection for all animals. They also feature a nice aquarium area with fish and other aquatic animals. Beautiful bird selection bit cone with cash because they are not cheap. Enjoy!

I recently moved to the city so it was the first time I visited this location. I chose to order online and pick up. It went great!They called me to let me know the order was ready. I went to the store. They have parking spots clearly marked for order pick ups. You call when you get there and they bring your order out and put it in the car.The employees that I spoke with were very pleasant and helpful. I will definitely be back and will go inside the store next time.

Fairly large store in a mini mall by Harlem and Bloomingdale in Elmwood Park. Huge selection of pet foods, supplies, toys, accessories, bowls/dishes, OTC meds and vitamins, grooming items and more. Very neat and organized with aisles free from debris and easy to navigate.Small selection of hamsters and reptiles, fish wall was of decent size with basic colorful fish. The birds is what had me feeling a bit uncomfortable...they are contained in small glass boxes and they were moving side to side on their perch sticks. Birds have wings, they are supposed to FLY, not pace side to side on the only stick in their glass box. I inquired about their "exercise" and was told they get taken out so they can fly around. Not sure exactly how true that is, but hopefully those birds that fluctuate in price range, are able to actually get several opportunities throughout the day to stretch their wings and fly ~ just as God has intended them to do. I am now over 3 hours from visiting that store and I am still frustrated over the fact that those beautiful birds are kept in glass boxes. Hopefully they get bought soon so that they can be well taken care of and flap their wings and fly.
