Justin and team have done an AMAZING job with teaching Charlie the commands that we needed him to obey. Justin was incredibly thorough when explaining the use of the commands and ensuring that not only my wife and I but our children as well were not only comfortable using the commands but that Charlie was following the commands we were taught. We will definitely come back if we choose to do more advanced training and will definitely recommend Woof Beach to any new or existing dog owners looking to get training. I'm thrilled to share our fantastic experience with Jim and the dedicated team at Woofbeach Sands. We initially brought our puppy Rex in, who was as wild and mischievous as they come. He required constant supervision - a nibbler of everything and a bundle of uncontained energy at home.Jim and the team completely transformed Rex. We put a rescue Rottweiler 14 months old in their basic training and they delivered in 6 to 8 weeks a nice Prince. He is working within the pack of Dutchess 4 yr Rottweiler and Duke 5 yr American Pit Bull which were home train only. The staff in training and spa care amazing and awesome working with our three dogs in their facility. Justin, Taylor, Chloe and Eric the manager have earned my respect as a dog owner. If I get another rescue or purchase my next spot will by Woofbeach Sands. And Chloe has made our dogs enjoy day spa. Thank you and Happy New Year to all. Lewis

After we adopted 2 German Shepherd Puppies that were brothers and having a 4 yr old German Shepherd at home already we knew we needed experienced trainer to help us. After researching we decided on Woofbeach in South Elgin. Jim is amazing ! The care and patience they show is wonderful. So knowledgeable. Jim can solve any problem you may be having and with 3 we have had them all! Yes, dog training is expensive, but when you choose to have a dog, you also must be a responsible dog owner and take the responsibility of training your dog properly so that they don’t eat your couch, or your neighbor. Highly recommend Woofbeach in South Elgin. Jim and Jr. are awesome 😎

Our dog Daisy went from not so mannered, play biting all the time to a whole new kind of lovable dog, without taking her nickname Crazy Daisy away. My thanks and honor go to Justin for showing Crazy Daisy the right path to be a good doggo.Justin isn't just good with dogs, but he's good with people too. His silly, goofy, kind behavior is loved by both Xander and I, and I'm sure the rest of his clients do too. I love going to training classes with Daisy working with Justin, it's fun, and a great way to bond with your pooch. It feels like Justin is family whenever I walk in the door and people like that don't come often than you think, and that's a breath of fresh air.If you got a dog that you want to be well trained, I HIGHLY recommend that you go to Woofbeach Sands with your dog that needs teaching and ask for Justin. My dog Daisy has changed so much through training here!!! Did a complete 180 turn around. Amazing work environment, the workers are so mellow and down to earth.Justin is our trainer and works with daisy as well, he is amazing, kind and very very sweet!And thank you for making her a better dog!! We're getting better but only will go up from there!!!If you have to take your dog somewhere for training I HIGHLY recommend this place!!!

The summer heat is here and these floofies were in desperate need of a groom! Nicole is always so patient and kind to them which is why I feel confident leaving my dogs in her care. I value her so much! It's not easy leaving your fluffy loved ones with a stranger, but Nicole has become like family and my dogs love her. It makes me happy to see them happy-- wagging their tails high up in the air when they see her and when I pick them up. Kudos to Woofbeach Sands in South Elgin. You have a real gem!

I brought in my 1 year old shepherd/pitbull mix. She has TONS of energy and LOVES to jump on people, and had a bit of reactivity to dogs. I admit I was super skeptical and very nervous leaving her all day but every time we’d get there, she would wag her tail and practically drag me inside. She’s now 2 and she’s doing so well! My friends and family totally notice a difference and how much better behaved she is! She’s also very chill around other dogs at the training facility (see photo—I didn’t even recognize my own dog when I walked in and saw this!!) and I’m better able to distract her at home. The trainers are amazing people who know what they’re doing and genuinely care about the dogs. If I ever get another big dog I’ll definitely bring them back to this place. This is the 3rd training I tried and I went with Woof Beach because I was realizing I didn’t have the time to train her myself with consistency and because it was super convenient to drop her off and pick her up with my schedule.

Best groomers in the Valley!Grooming our 130 pound great wolfhound is a feat, but Jennifer and the folks at Woof beach love their work, and it shows. Kind, caring, and very thorough, our dog looks four years younger and loves the folks there. Best groomers we've ever had!

My dog is very difficult with having her nails trimmed and the both Cory and Asia took their time and got her settled and did a job I would never be able to do myself. This was an excellent experience with Jim and his entire team. My 4 month old German Shepherd puppy was well trained for both on and off leash and is doing fantastic several months after completion of the training without having to return. I would highly recommend this training facility for any dog.

Asia is such an attentive groomer. She has great with both big and small dogs. My dog is only 7 pounds and can be tricky to cut her nails, but Asia is the best. Even with a tip, it is also cheaper than pet smart to get nails done they don't charge extra to buff the nails off and get them smooth.

The staff is amazing! My dog Bentley is very anxious and the trainers and Asi, the groomer, all took the care and patience that he needed. Jim did individual training woth my mom and I and he couldn't have been better! He explained everything in detail and corrected us to make sure that we didn't confuse our dog. He is truly an amazing and gifted trainer! I would encourage every dog owner to go here for training or grooming.

We adopted a puppy earlier this year and she started out patient and well mannered. Then she got comfortable and became toxically friendly. She loved all people and dogs too much and would escape, run, and over love everything. We are experienced dog owners but we knew when we were in over our heads. Woofbeach in South Elgin was transformative for us and our puppy, Hadley.With the advanced (off-leash) training our dog was given a new life! Now we all enjoy long walks on nature paths where she is free to romp far off leash because she immediately returns with a simple command. She sits patiently in place no matter where we set it. She went from being the dog neighbors had to help me trap during an escape to the dog every kid loves to heel off leash.The entire staff is wonderful and Justin was SO helpful in teaching us how to communicate with our pup. He was patient, encouraging, and fun to work with! The advanced training was more than worth the investment for a lifetime of happiness with our newest fur baby!

Everyone at Woof Beach is amazing, plain and simple. They really care about your dog and take the time to explain everything they’ll be doing and never rush the training. Jesus and Olivia are the very best at what they do. Our dog Norman has done a complete 180 since he started there. He is getting so much better when company is over and is so patient and gentle with our 3 year old. We also love Jennifer…the BEST dog groomer around. She does excellent work and is so sweet with Norman. We would HIGHLY recommend Woofbeach to everyone!

Cannot speak highly enough about the great trainers and groomers at Woof Beach South Elgin. We started our puppy (Portuguese water dog) training there last year and she is such a wonderful, well trained, obedient dog. You can see that the staff really cares about each dog and goes above and beyond for their fur babies. We do doggie day care when we work and have her groomed there every few weeks. It’s super convenient and we know our girl is loved. Jesus is an amazing trainer and Jennifer is the best groomer I’ve met.

Jim is the new manager at the South Elgin location. He is a great trainer (both with the humans and the dogs)!! Very professional yet friendly on a personal level. It is amazing what can be accomplished with so many dogs just "being in place." All trainers are super friendly and make you feel comfortable leaving your dog. Groomers are also knowledgeful, friendly and do great work. I very highly recommend Woofbeach South Elgin.

We are so happy that we found Woofbeach! Our puppy was trained by Jesus and his team in 2018, and we continue to see the staff at Woofbeach for boarding and grooming. Our dog is always happy to spend the day at their facility, and we know he is in great hands every time he is in for a grooming day, or when we take a family vacation. Additionally, we receive many compliments on how well our dog behaves on walks, and how mannered he is around other dogs.

Unbelievable experience at Woofbeach Sands in South Elgin and seriously worth every penny! We were referred by several family members who have taken their dogs to training here, and I’m glad we listened to them. After 3 other training sessions with a different dog training facility, Norman, our Saint Bernard, was still having a lot of trouble with most of his commands as well as not behaving at all - and for a 150 lb. dog he was getting to be uncontrollable. We decided to try Woofbeach due to the high recommendations. He went through the on-leash program and had several follow up training sessions with both Jesus and Elizabeth. All I can say is WOW! What a huge difference in behavior. We also learned several ways to address some of the issues we’ve been having at home with him which has helped a lot. We are excited to continue his training in the near future and start the off-leash program. Today Norm had his first grooming session with Asia and we also couldn’t be happier with the outcome- so fresh and clean and a happy boy! I cannot recommend Woofbeach Sands enough and have already referred a couple new dog parents to them.

Woof Beach goes the extra mile! When they say they care about your dog they mean it. We have a pup that is a handful and then some. But Woof Beach has been there every step of the way. They have responded to every concern to help our family with our pup. They even come to our house and involve the whole family in making our pup behave appropriately. And our dog LOVES the trainer!!!
