First off it is dim and kind of small when you go inside. The staff is not friendly at all. I asked the person for help and they wouldn't come from behind the counter ( it was more than one black person inside) so that he could watch the shoppers. I left and will never be back. Black women have got to stop shopping at shores that do not support or respect us.

The pandemic is over. Why are we still coming in through the back door? This is NOT the 50’s & 60’s. How are we okay with this?There is no parking in the back of the building & technically you aren’t even supposed to park in the back. (Hence why the owner himself still parks in the front- white van). I asked him why he still parks in the front if the door is broke. He claims he walks around to the back. Other owners & workers in the same strip park in the back & go in through the back. Why park in front & walk around the entire building to come in through the back door?I asked “Stevie” the owner, when he will be fixing the front door, and he says “sometime around next month”. The door has been “broke” since March of 2020.

The customer service is 2 star because when I went to purchase hair the retailer didn't help me effeciantly when I asked for it. When I continued to help myself and got one of the wigs down he promptly came over and stopped me. So I asked again if he could help me and he did finally. The store wasn't welcoming and the quality of synthetic wigs were trash so I bought a synthetic ponytail and eyelashes instead. Not the best Beauty Supply I've experienced in my list of beauty supply stores!

DONT SHOP HERE. They never have any good wigs or pony’s, their products are cheap as hell and they sell them for an arm and a leg and they’re always watching me and my daughter’s as if we’re going to steal something. And I mean uncomfortably watching us!! I’ll be taking my black dollars else where.

Customer service is ok and they are cheaper then Lynn's beauty supply at clock tower and they have more and better variety. But the only thing i don't like is once you buy something thats it no refund or exchange.

I really like this beauty supply store they are probably one of the best in Elgin but I came there and I spent $80 and the guy wouldn't even let my four-year-old daughter use the bathroom and told me to go next door to the laundromat so that really pissed me off and he's always watching as if somebody is going to steal something watching them like a hawk and were regulars
