Blain's is very nice! Very spacious, has a large selection of items from dog toys to atv's. The prices are pretty affordable; especially if you are looking to purchase bedding. Staff are friendly and if you are having trouble, they will help you!

I love this place! They tend to have great prices and is our go to place to buy firewood. Their staff is knowledgeable and kind everytime we come! Also the candy selection is amazing!

Their battery left me stranded. Purchased battery in 2021 with a 7 year warranty. This was the main reason I purchased their battery. I went into the store to exchange it as it's still under warranty and they refused to honor it without a receipt. Why am I required to find a receipt from years ago when the battery has the warranty listed on the battery itself along with the manufacturer date.UPDATE: customer service upheld the warranty and was able to exchange the non working battery for a good one.

Excellent prices for what we were looking for. Also managed to grab a raincoat that was on sale. I do wish for more variety in spring seed brands. I was looking for catnip of a certain type but the brand had the one opposite type. But there were a wonderful variety of flowers for attracting bees and butterflies!

Well lit, large, plenty of room to move around. The adult staff were pleasant and helpful. The youth I talked to were just there to get paid. Well stocked and cleaner then Home Depot. My first choice.

I called the store last Saturday to see if they still had a freezer that was on sale and discontinued. The website said they had one left. I spoke with Lori in Customer Service. She told me that she had no one at that moment working in Housewares so she herself would have to go back and check. Lori stated that she would call me back within a short time with an answer. I gave her my phone number and before hanging up with me, Lori reassured me again that she would return my call. About 20 minutes went by and then my phone rang. It was Lori letting me know that they did have the freezer I wanted. She said it was up high and wanted to make sure I was really interested in buying it as she would have the guys get it down for me. I told her I was on my way. I arrived at the store a short time later and went in and paid for it. Then I went to pick it up and it was ready and waiting for me. Hats off to Lori who did an outstanding job helping me out! I appreciate her very much!!

I love going here because everybody is always so friendly and very helpful to your needs without making you feel like your interrupting them. I quite often go in looking for something and whether I cannot reach it or is too heavy for me to lift , there are enough workers around that you can find somebody quickly to assist . I'm very thankful for the hard work. They have great prices and you will find much cheaper than pet stores to get your bird food and so many other household items.

I love the store. Its floor layout is easy to navigate. The team was quick and eager to help. I could not beat the pricing, warranty, and quality of the product I bought. No one could come close. That's why I made the effort to drive out of my way. A+

First time in a Farm and Fleet and it will be my last. Went to this location specifically for a water table for my daughter it said they had 2 of got there 10 mins before closing. It wasn’t out on the floor so I asked for help, they said well if it’s not out here we don’t have it. Very reluctant to want to check the back for this table. She came back and said they didn’t have it. Went to customer service who said no we don’t…asked them if the Woodstock location which shows 3 would be a better bet and she goes idk id call to be sure. At what point in your inventory do you actually trust? Cuz 2 or 3 big little tikes boxes is hard to miss. I ended up going to get it at Woodstock and not needing it. Tried to have my mother return this item since she lives right there WITH the order number and they turned away because she didn’t have the credit card I used. No where on their website does it say you need that. As my mom walked out of the store carrying this big box a manager asked her how her day was. She stated she was just trying to return it and they wouldn’t let her. He went up to customer service and the lady working the register did not want to return it but manager made it happen. This item wasn’t open or used at all btw, literally got a different one cheaper. Gave us cash instead, literally dealing with this location was a headache.

Cooking pans cast iron pans shoes. This is the place to go!!Always sales people on the floor to ask where someone is. And they have a loading dock for large orders. Free shipping. Same day pick up and shop online they bring it to your car. So why not shop here. Plus. Wide isles clean lit store. You can clearly see where you are going. Isles are labeled also

Ive been taking all of my cars here for oil change. They always do a great job and emplpyees are always nice. Its nice when you can schedule 7 days a week. Love that they send you a reminder when your next oil change is come and due by sending you a coupon. I tell peiple all the time and not many knows that farm&fleet have auto center. I wish they can do more variety of service like trans fluid change and etc.

Never had I experienced such a rude customer service representative after today. Employee Marybeth at the customer service at the Elgin location was beyond rude. A day before a snow storm I visited to purchase snow pants for my father whom works outdoors. They fit him big and so I rushed back with my mother to exchange it. I understand the store was closing at 8pm but she was done with my exchange by 8:01pm. I did not even bother to ask her to help me check out for the additional items we gathered and we stepped aside to their self checkout ourselves. During my encounter with Marybeth she made it obvious she was super upset, made faces, made comments and was throwing the snow pants and hanger at the wall. Another employee came up to Marybeth and told her that she needed to get her out of here. Rude to say in-front of clients as well. Marybeth made it clear she did not want to be there much less to be able to help us and to be honest with that kind of attitude she should never be assisting clients. I hope she was just having a bad day and isn’t like that with clients everyday but that was beyond unacceptable.

I have always liked shopping at Blain's, a wide variety from items for homeowners to things for the farmer. Love it! Great customer service located a sale item I was looking for. I purchased dog bones for my furry friends for Christmas.

Probably the biggest F&F I've been in. The store had the tractor part I needed.I would suggest putting small engine parts next to the automotive section, not on the opposite side of the store. That was very confusing.Hard to find anyone to help, when you do, expect the typical "Ugh, not my department" attitude.This is why Amazon and EBay are putting stores out of business.

Excellent products but their staff could be trained a little better. I know not every employee knows where everything is, but it's November and I was looking for gloves and the employee had no idea where they were. But all in all a good place to shop for good work gear.

You got 10 employees in random spots standing talking but nobody on a register. I get to do my shopping then do your work that you get paid for then pay you for it.This is the worst blains location ive ever been to. Worse even than Bolingbrook. If i ever have to go to blains id rather drive to Wisconsin so I'll never be back to an Illinois location. But if taking the drive anyway I'll just check out blairs, it's only a little further.I hope the geniuses in your corporate office are proud of their shiny new drone checkouts. Im sure they werent cheap and I'd bet I'm not the only workin man they've offended enough to never go back.

Would give zero stars if I could. Extremely dissatisfied by the way I was treated by staff on 2/3/24 at 3:15pm at Elgin Blains farm and fleet. Not only did the cashier (associate # 390643) mistakenly charge me 3 TIMES for the same item but after speaking with an employee at the service desk to correct the error she told me the item was priced inaccurately and refused to sell me the item for the marked price (associate # 390626). Worst of all the employee at the service desk (associate # 390626) was very rude and acted as if I was attempting to get the sale item wrongfully. The price marked on the jacket I attempted to purchase was the exact same price on 5 identical jackets in the childrens department. Unprofessional and rude. Very disappointing experience and I will NOT be returning to this store due to the attitude of the employees I encountered. I will not recommend this store to anyone.

The work ethic of all of these employees is exemplary!!! The whole staff is very friendly and helpful! They put the joy back in my shopping experience! I'm handicapped and I use the scooters when I'm there because they are plentiful and always charged. I have NEVER had an unpleasant experience here.

This store reminds of what Wal-Mart was like in the 90's. The layout inside is simple, the department signs clearly tell you where to find product categories. It also seems that the store has a big seasonal rotation so you may only find some items at set times of the year

They were in the middle of inventory and did not have the items I was there for. They item were on sale. They would not provide a raincheck on the items and pricing. The customer service people; I could tell were frustrated as they could not use technology to find things, they had to do it old school, which in its self is hilarious; seeing they were in their 70s or older.

Blain's Farm & Fleet is a one stop shop for way more than you would anticipate. Such a large variety of items at great prices. I will be coming back for more than what I originally went for. Great service at this location 👍
