I love the new manager and think maybe she's neutralizing the attitudes. The old woman for sure and another girl heavy butt n a bit older than most the other employees I notice is good withbinventory but she's just as rude as the old woman and they both sit and talk about people as they're leaving the store. Nevermind being rude about their practice of putting clearance makeup on a bottom shelf in a box as deep as the shelf so you really have no choice but to pull it out to go thru it and then they watch you like you're stealing or causing a problem, I grew up in family businesses. I never leave messes in-store or out. Actually just a few weeks ago the big butted girl came out recording me as I wasvtying mybwallett up with my other errands, first feigning concern secondly going so far as to say she was making sure I wasn't dumping trash. Irony is I did notice it was getting a bit messy and y'all were doing such a good job I considered puckingbit up a little once I got my shopping. I only got an item or two and didn't ckean even lost two new pair of gloves right by the register where I leave my walker,. One bad habit is not getting items in their correct spot so pricing has been confusing lately. I've tried understanding why I see a few items being cleared out but not enough for this problem I think its the talk We newest boy who doesn't really pay much mind to where he puts things, Haley is fair she can handle it without insult, otherwisebhes respectful and helpful ascwellm

I like the store itself but the old woman that works here( I think she's manager or asst. Manager) is always super rude. She acts like anything you ask for is an inconvenience to her and she always watches you like you're a thief... Her name is Linda I believe

Great evening associates very friendly smiling eager to help. Will definitely shop at this location more in the evening then in their afternoons or daytime hours. Very pleasant atmosphere. Did not catch the cashers names it was an older lady and younger lady working what I was there I may 29th however the names were not important because the service was excellent, even though the store was very busy both cashiers were very pleasant to each and every customer in line.

Plan on waiting forever in line. This place is like a maze, be ready to fight your way through the isles getting past stock carts and boxes. Besides those two down falls, service is good and they have the necessities.

It's just like a hometown store in Altamont, that's got the feel of having been here for a very long time. The workers are always willing to help you find what you need, and don't mind doing it. Some of them I went to school with, and have known most of my life. Jesse Guthrie is one of the main reasons I go there, she's not afraid to talk to a friend and she still knows her business. If she doesn't know what a problem is, no one else does she gets to the bottom of it. I think she handles herself and the job extremely well. She's got my vot!

***EDITED REVIEW BELOW THIS OLDER POST***Just went into store, went to check out, and 2 young people were behind me...like right up close and personal space behind me, ignoring the 6 feet distancing that is required in stores. Mind you, I had an FFP2 mask on.Managers and clerks at this store really need to implement and pay attention more to this, and set some rules or strikes for those ignoring these 6 ft requirements. I have asthma, copd, and occurring bronchitis, I dont need inconsiderate people behind me every time I go into the Dollar Store to get my essential necessities.***EDITED REVIEW***Most people are wearing masks now that I see come and go into Dollar Store, and now do keep their 6 feet distance.I am changing my star rating to a 5 now because of employee kindness and how helpful they are, and how easy it is to find what I need at my local Dollar General Store.

Employees and customers are not following state mandates on face coverings. This is a high risk business, they allow way to many people in the store that don't follow the 6ft social Distancing guidelines. If your looking to get sick vist this store or any DG for that they all have seem to taken this attitude with COVID-19.

Isles blocked with loaded carts. A number of items not on shelves & a cashier who kept talking to another employee while 5 customers were waiting in line. 3 registers with only one open.

As DGs go, this is the best around. The staff is friendly, the store is clean and the shelves are kept stocked, all of this combined makes for a GOOD shopping experience.

So much clutter and boxes in the aisles. Can't even get to merchandise on the shelves. Every aisle is like this. One cashier open with more than 10 customers waiting in line.
