One of our local restaurants. The food is very good and they've got a decent drink selection. Service is nice, albeit a little slow. The main complaint is the atmosphere. The gambling machines in the restaurant are TERRIBLE! The loud, colorful, predatory machines really take away from the dining experience. Unfortunately we'll most likely be visiting Schmidt's in the future, or ending up ordering to-go. First time here but we’ll be back. It’s not a huge place but we got here early so not a problem. Menu has a wide variety of food choices and beer menu was interesting. I had the broccoli cheese soup - to die for! - and spinach artichoke dip with pita chips. Husband had chicken bacon ranch wrap and fresh-cut fries. Everything was excellent. And bartender Steve was very welcoming, friendly, and attentive.

First…awesome staff! So friendly! Second…delicious food! We had onion rings with jalapeño ranch dressing. Yum! We also had the Popper Burger. So good!! Can’t wait to come back!

Awesome bar. Definitely has the best food in Elburn. The Cuban panini, chicken wraps, chicken sandwiches, soups, jalapeno poppers are all tasty. We stopped in on Sunday for the Bloody Mary's and they are stuffed with meats, cheese, shrimps etc....

Stopped in with a couple members of my family and the food and the service were extraordinary! Two of us had a special burger and they were better than I expected.The cheese curds were as good as any we've had in Wisconsin! Definitely going back!!!

Joslyn and AJ were given short notice that my girlfriend and I would be stopping in to visit and that I would be proposing after 9 on a Tuesday night. Nowadays at a small bar that could be close to closing time. They went out of their way to be sure we would have amazing appetizers and desert for family and friends who would join us right after the special moment. Not only did they make everything possible, but they allowed us to relax and celebrate for a few hours, made us feel at home. “Forever” grateful!

We used to come a few times a month. I literally came for the black bean burger. We used to be challenged to find a seat. Tonight, Friday night, 6:30pm, it’s a ghost town. 7 gambling machines have replaced the larger tables. No IPA my husband will drink, and curses - no black bean burger and no vegetarian options at all. We didn’t eat, finished our drink and left, never to return (unless the “new” owner gets smart). One saving grace was the excellent bar tender!

Update: this place was REALLY amazing.. now they have gaming machines All over the place where they used to have tables. Very disappointing. The limes aren't even green anymore.. or is that a lemon?? We have been coming here regularly for nearly 3 years and it just went down the toilet. 🙄☹️☹️☹️💔Servers/Bartenders are all amazing!! And the food!! OMG we've tried pretty much everything on the menu and STILL haven't found anything that's "just ok". It's all craveable 😋😋 Anything you get here will Not disappoint👍😊 11/22 update: they are now stocking the mixer I always ask for.. These guys really know how to make their patrons feel welcomed!!! Just LOVE this place!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

We really liked this place, had been there a handful of times throughout the years. The food is good and the servers were generally really nice, BUT…Unfortunately we were going to go with our kids to celebrate my son’s concert he was in and then we were told they don’t allow kids anymore since they added gaming slots. I’m so disappointed, they take up most of the room and it really changed the entire charming atmosphere to…not that.We took our business down the street to Schmidt’s. I’m guessing they are going to get a lot more business because they can serve families.Two stars because I still think they’re good is good, but I probably won’t come here anymore.

How disappointing. I used to eat here all the time and even worked here at one point. I've tried to visit several times with my coworkers but learned that the times of operation had drastically changed.We used to be open at 11am and had a wonderful lunch rush. The fact that they open at 4PM now is not only insane but horrible for trades/service workers looking to grab some food. Not only that, but many of the reviews now tell me that it's a 21+ location which is outright dumb. Half of the customers we had would bring their whole families and loved eating our foods. Installing those slot machines in an already cramped location was a terrible idea.I'll try to get food one more time before it closes down completely. How sad.

Bartender was awesome. Worked hard, was talking with everyone and still keeping up on the several groups. Drinks came out quickly.However, I feel food was nothing special, took awhile to get( about 45mins) for me and my wife. You could definitely tell the oil for the friers needed to be changed out. Fries came out greasy black. Fix the kitchen issues as minor as they may be and this place is going to be rocking

We sat on the back patio, our server Brenna (?) was incredible. Ordered 2 (ultimate) bloody marys = great bloody marys with shrimp, chicken wings, bacon, bacon wrapped poppers, sausage, pretzel bites etc...etc... best bloody marys we've had. I Ordered grilled chicken sandwich with fries, husband ordered cheeseburger with fries. Fries are fresh and hand cut, best fries I've had in a long time. Buger was cookex perfectly, chicken was juicy and full of flavor. Service, atmosphere and food 💯% hands down. Thanks Brenna (sp?) You're amazing!!!

This used to be one of our favorite places for food and drinks and now it feels completely revolved around gambling. Anyone under 21 is not allowed inside so families cannot eat there anymore. It is extremely disappointing, as we will no longer be going there in the future.
