Burgers are YUM!!!!! Not sure what they put on them but they are REALLY REALLY good!! I've had them all and highly recommend! The onion rings are fantastic too!! And all the staff is always very nice, smiling, knowledgeable and fun to interact with! If your looking for a simple yet delicious BLT then this is your spot! Burgers and Chili Cheese dog are good too. Nearby picnic tables [uncovered], and parking. Having Reams Market next door was a bonus. Friendly staff!

Visited for a ice cream social..Had a strawberry shake which was very good bits of real strawberry great added touch,My wife got the snicker parfait, my daughter got sinful sundae, and my son get the banana split, bananas super fresh everything was perfect , great to see old school ma and pa specialty places still around z gem in the middle of ElburnParking: Parking all around and side street Kid-friendliness: Cute and fun kid can be a kid and what says kids more then ice creamWheelchair accessibility: Walk right up and wheel chair right up plenty of space to pay and receive at the windows

Truly a great selection of soft serve flurries and sundaes. The upside down banana split is huge and satisfying. They also have a great menu selection of non-dessert food too. I typically only go for the ice cream so I cannot really comment on that part of the menu. Prices are reasonable across the board. The only reason I only gave 4 stars is all the ice cream is soft serve. If they had traditional ice cream too it would open up some other menu possibilities.

I have been working at Alice's place for 5 years now. I love the ice cream here. Its gluten free and we can make you basically anything you ask for. We have a ton of ice cream options and a large food menu as well. I prefer flurrys (similar to blizzards from dq) here for my ice cream choice. And mac n cheese bites are my favorite fried food item from here. This is soft serve ice cream but we also have smoothies and slushies as well. I think this is a fun and friendly environment with an old school feel. You can eat outside on a nice day or inside if you'd like to enjoy an old school diner feel. All ages enjoy this restaurant and it is a hot spot in Elburn.

My family and I have been to this ice cream shop many times without me ordering anything. The kids and wife have always enjoyed it but for the first time a couple weeks ago I decided to indulge in a medium chocolate ice cream shake. It did not disappoint either. It was far better than a dairy queen or oberweise to be honest. Definitely check this place out.

Alice's Place is one of our favorite stops when we're out roaming. The ice cream is great. Best chocolate malt ever. We especially like the burgers. But the best things? Reading the hand-written menu notes in the window and talking to the really nice staff. No mass-produced "brand strategies" here. It seems like one of those places that everyone knows and people say, "Meet us at Alice's."

Best soft serve ice cream place around. They have a great selection of sundae toppings and flurry flavors. Prices are cheap and they offer a good selection of quick cook fast food if you're looking for more than ice cream. There's a small counter inside where you can sit in and eat, though finding an open seat it tough. Alice's isn't fancy but it's a great local spot.

Great food, great service, and great people. Tried macaroni & cheese bites for the first time, also fried pickles for the first time. Both delicious. If you're looking for good food and ice cream, that's family owned, and you want to see every piece of Pepsi memorabilia ever made lol check this place out.

I only got a hot fudge sundae (always classically delicious.) However, my boyfriend and one of his friends got the Thin Mint Flurry and just be aware that they don't put Thin Mint cookies in the flurry. It's actually just mint Oreo ice cream that tastes like the Thin Mint cookies. They still thought it was delicious though.

I ordered a hot dog. It was cooked fresh and the dog was actually hot and a Chicago dog. I also ordered a small turtle Sunday with whipped cream. Small was more than enough! Girls who work there are super nice. Although not required I tipped the girls because of their dedication to their job and they really work hard and as a team to make the customer satisfied!!!

We've been going to Alice's for about 30 years we travel about 20 miles just to go! Absolutely love the staff and the icecream. The food is amazing too! My wife has declared that today she had the best root beer float ever. Cold creamy soft serve and ice cold root beer. If you live in Elburn you are fortunate to have Alice's Place close by and it is worth driving here from a distance on a hot day for a cold treat.

Had an incredible time at this wonderful establishment. They servers were very accommodating and willing to help us and answer any questions we had. The food service was very speedy, and cooked perfectly. The ice cream and smoothies were to die for! I highly recomend trying it out!

Went with a friend this evening to get some sundaes and they were super sweet! Thank you to whoever it was that showed my friend your kindness! When people have cancer, such as my friend has, it's not easy for them to find the energy to go out and do the little things, such as go get an ice cream, so I'm happy and thankful that you could make one of her 'good' days even better!

This and Graham's are the best ice cream places I know! Batavia Creamery is also good, but my favorite is definitely here. Shame that they aren't open during the winter!
