I enjoy coming to this store. They always have what I am looking for. Employees are always very friendly.I also want to add that they have a very nice Mexican foods section, and the Boardwalk brand soda is a great price and taste identical to the national brands. Most store brands don't come close, but this one does.Different visit-Someone should show Samantha how to respectfully check people out. We spent a while in the store, carefully choosing our foods we wanted for the next 2 weeks. Samantha GRABBED our items, scanned them, and threw them in the cart like they were garbage, meat, and all! Why? What is the point in that? Then, instead of- "Thank you, have a great day" she rudley motioned 3-4 times to move our cart out of the checkout lane to behind her register. She has some manners and customer service skills to learn. *Our receipt said cashier name- Madison, but the shirt tag was Samantha. 8/27/23 11:18

Customer service was terrible. Short lady with a black ponytail gonna give dirty looks to some little kids. Threw our groceries around and slung the cart at one of our Littles. This behavior is not acceptable. IF YOU ARE GOING TO WORK IN CUSTOMER SERVICE DO YOUR JOB RIGHT!

Staff is nice. Store is clean.. no bags so they have you take the empty boxes home to dispose of.. some of the customers looked like they are in the same pajamas for a while..

I haven't been here in every long time. The last time I shopped here, it was dingy & had a gross vibe. But I had a feeling to go back. Glad that I did too. Very clean & organized. Produce looked as fresh as a farmer's market. Like the selection of shelved products also. Will definitely come back more often.

Very convenient and cozy. Great prices on good quality products. This Save-A-Lot is currently owned by Kirby's IGA so in turn they pretty much have the same things just different brands at much lower prices. Always clean. Only downfall is their produce dept. would be better if there were alot more more choices and a larger area. Recently they added a small beer and liquor sale box. It's convenient I assume, I haven't bought anything from there (not a drinker).

An employee named Connie has destroyed my shopping with the company. Instead of learning and being an openly willing person, she was rude and disrespectful to me and my family. I asked for a refund on a product and she asked why. I took her to the frozen bunker and explained how I was mislead and just would like it returned. I even offered suggestions for the stocking and placement of tags and she was negative with sarcasm telling me I should learn to read. I am on disability for being legally blind. I was using a ebt card and just wanted the money put back on the card. She told me the state didn't allow them to do that and she didn't know how to help me. I told her she was wrong because every store does it. She was rude and kept arguing and treating me like I was below her. The store manager came and fixed the issue, eventually, after making calls. Neither have good communication skills nor do they know proper skills to serve the needs of the customers. The old lady needs to just retire. The owner has the willingness and desire to please the patrons but lacks basic knowledge of the cash register functions and how to handle stressful situations. I hid the tears as best I could because I was in public. Then the old lady while I was still waiting for a solution to my issue, began bad mouthing me to other customers. I begged for my receipt to the owner and she shut the door in my face. I was shocked, I was just wanting to leave at this point. They had already humiliated me and the cashier, Connie, continued even while the owner was present. I got my ticket and went outside with the product I didn't want. I was trying to calm down and stop the tears and I was shaking. The owner came outside and said ma'am grab the product and we will fix this. I told her I didn't ever wanna be near that lady again. She assured me I wouldn't be near her. I walked in and went to the opposite end to receive my refund and could still hear Connie saying rude things to customers about me. I walked past her and said ya know I'm legally blind and am sorry this all happened. She made a snide comment about me, ya I've dealt with you before and using that state ebt stuff. I've never even seen this woman before! Then I said have a blessed day and she yelled I'll pray for you as you really need it young lady. Wow. Just wow. Then my son had to use the restroom and I took him back in, not even phased by her. As I was walking towards the exit, she was checking a person out and just throwing the groceries around, clearly not respecting that customer either. She needs to be fired! And the owner needs some training and she will be good! She had the heart in it and could tell she wanted to help me which she did in the end. Not sure if cameras are in play at this store but if I owned it, I would be watching that woman. She's nothing I would have representing my company. She made me feel like I was nothing and continued to belittle me over and over to other customers and then the customers were giving me bad looks. Never again. How sad.

As far as stores go, this place is affordable and has almost all your needs. The only issue I have is the need to loadup boxes or buy bags. Other than that inconvenience, this place is top notch.

Purchased a family pack of strip steak... horrible. The cut was from anywhere but the loin section. Grainy texture, very tough for the longissimus. Just spend the extra money to buy elsewhere and save the trouble. Not worth the trip if you live out of town.

They have food here that is sometimes cheaper than Aldie's, but yet, better name-brand items as well that doesn't cost an arm and a leg like the main stores do.

It was really nice my daughter had been wanting the Green Beans with the potatoes in it and she looked all over town and couldn't find it and she was really happy that we found at save a lot
