They only serve an eight piece chicken meal, but they don’t have any specials with any size bigger like the 16 pieces of chicken or the 24 pieces of chicken as a meal so I had to take my business elsewhere. I love the fried chicken at this IGA but if they don’t have the meals, I guess I’ll have to go elsewhere and when I was there trying to figure out, but I was going to order half of the hot bar looked dried up

Great customer service very helpful even if calling to ask a question! Only improvement needed is the website I can't get it to list most any products you carry weather I'm specific or using general terms. Very frustrating!

There was no help at the bakery in the afternoon s but when I called up somebody the guy came I got service just ashame that nobody wants too work horrible work force nowadays sad nobody scheduled 1 too 4 but I guess they do the best they can

Kathy Witkowski and Alex Thoele from Kirby Foods catered our dad’s funeral luncheon at St. Anthony Parish Center. They were absolutely fantastic in every way!The food was out of this world and the customer service was absolutely spectacular in every way. We highly recommend their catering services. We were so very pleased by everything being taken care of just as we had asked for. What a great experience honoring our dad just as he wanted us to with a good meal with family and friends gathered after his funeral mass, while not having to worry about anything related to the luncheon as we knew it was in very good hands. Excellent quality of foods and services. Top notch just as it has been for my 30+ years of being a patron. Meats, cheeses, and fresh baked goods are all great! The most expensive store around to buy groceries. Staff has a few great employees but the teens need to have manners, greet shoppers with a pleasant attitude and thank them for their business.

Catering canceled appetizers and dessert 2 weeks before my wedding because they over booked their day. I booked a year in advance. They didn’t label the vegetarian option for guests to know. They were on time and the dinner was good though.

Let me start by saying I love this store! I live almost 60 miles from it. I always find stellar deals in the meat department. The staff is always more than helpful. No self checkouts here! Still get your groceries bagged and carried out if you need help. Don't mind paying extra for the great service and product. Bakery has the best dounuts.

Butchering department is outstanding and the bakery is amazing. Specialty items are easy to find here and frozen food is always stocked. They have everything! And the staff is very friendly. WIC and link is accepted here by the way and the Martin's gas station next door has great fountain drinks and the chicken salad sandwiches are superb. Definitely recommend this place.

Love shopping here. I took advantage of their big meat sale today. The staff are always so friendly and the guy in the meat department sliced my meat for free. Excellent customer service... Will be back soon.

Always clean and the people who work there are always friendly. Lots of choices and the prices are pretty reasonable. The sales in their meat department are usually really good and the quality of meat they sell is great.

Ir9n horse Cafe service is terrible. Often there us no cashier available, and you stand and wait for 5 to ten minutes. Even had a kitchen worker come out and walked on by, didn't get anyone to help. On top of that food is sub-par.

I'm really let down lately by the prepared food at this place I have gotten stuff that was just plain old in the deli area. I don't normally ear sweets but today I got a huge 3 dollar cinnamon role that it turns out was completely stale - not just a little bit really really old. I guess it's not Martin's anymore :(Gross

Great selection of grocery items. If I can't find it anywhere else IGA has it. They carry all of my favorites. They offer excellent bakery items, salads, and other premade foods. Everyday prices can be a little high, but their weekly sales make up for it.

Problem with this store is you can go in one door and shop but you best be able to carry it out in a very small cart. We shopped today for groceries and we had a large cart, we paid and went back to the way we came in and stopped by bakery and picke d out 2 donuts and we were going to pay a the register where we came in . The cart would not fit and the cashier said we don't allow big carts back here. No where on the door did it say that. I purchased the donuts and we decided we would just carry the bags out, what I should have done was to just sit the donuts down. We will find another place to do our grocery shopping. It's went down since it was bought out.

This store was owned by Martin's now Kirby's owns & runs things here; I have to say I've noticed a slight turn for the worse since the change over. Things r on average $1.25-$2.00 more for an equivalent item at another store like Walmart or Dollar General, and the overall quality of the groceries here is only fair to so-so at best. They do have a selection of some items like Good & Plenty Candy that would b hard to get elsewhere but I'd say 85% or so of what they offer u r overpaying by a fair chunk ofash for em; the best thing to say about Kirby's is it's right in the neighborhood, just blocks away from where I stay when I'm visiting Effingham, and since I'm on foot close proximity is very nice; however, their merchandise is only ok quality and is overpriced for what u pay for it

This has been my “ go to” grocery store for 20 years and that’s with an almost 60 mile round trip. Could always count on their fresh produce as quality. However, since the buyout by Kirby Foods this department has suffered. Have expressed my dissatisfaction with the lower quality of produce and that I will be searching for another provider. Hope the rest of the departments are not negatively impacted as the produce department.

Wonderful grocery store! My parents shopped there for years. When I took my mom there today to get her groceries, she hadn't brought cash but was going to try to write a check for more than her groceries cost. One of the male checkers looked at her check and immediately remembered her and my now deceased dad. He got her check cashed on the spot, and she talked about his niceness the 25 miles back home. That kind of thing doesn't happen in big box stores. I'll take a mom & pop store any time! ❤
