recently I purchased three 2 letter bottles of Pepsi from the store.The first one was really flat, no carbonation. I had pitched the recipe, so I did nothing..Yesterday I purchased three cases of Coker.The first can was TOTALLY FLAT. UNDRINKABLE...Found the next two cans were just as bad.Opened the second case and found it to be the same, UNDRINKABLE.Called the store and got no answer.Left a message but did not get a response..I lost around $25.00 buying soda from dollar General.

This store is always a mess!!! Isles are constantly cluttered with inventory that hasn’t been properly put up. There is rarely more than 1 person available to run registers. Most of the time you have to stand and wait at register for a minimum of 5 minutes to check out. There is only 1 employee there that can manage to bag your goods without either the bags ripping apart or even better when they put loaf of bread in same bag as say gallon of milk!! I should not have to tell them do not put my bread in same bag as something that is going to smash the bread so bad you can’t even make a sandwich wihh ya it

This is a relatively new store. Opened maybe 2-3 years ago. If you live close to the store or are camping or visiting around the Lake Sara area it's a wonderful store simply because of the convenience of not having to go all the way into town for supplies. While they don't have everything a full blown grocery store or a Super Wal-Mart would have, they do have "the basics" of just about everything. They have bacon/sausage/eggs/Orange juice/milk for breakfast, pizza, Bread, pasta, canned goods, etc for other meals. They also have toiletries, aspirin, cough syrup and other otc medicines, lotions and so on. They even have a small collection of toys available. If you want to read a magazine, pick up a crossword puzzle book or need a notebook and writing utensils they can set you up with that as well. A true convenience store. And the prices aren't much higher than they would be in town either. They don't sell alcohol but the gas station (Mach 1) right across the street does. Once you make a purchase they give you a $5 off $25 purchase on a certain date (within a week) in the future. Trouble is I don't generally spend over $25 when I go there so it doesn't do me much good but others might find this useful. For someone who used to have to go into town for supplies this store has been a real blessing!

Manager and staff are friendly and knowledgeable. I am always greeted when entering the store.Store is conveniently located, clean, and well stocked ...but if they are sold out of an item, the staff knows when it is due in.I like this store!

Most definitely the cleanest and best stocked store in the area. And by area I mean the other two in town in Effingham (I've not been to the Heartville one), Altamont, T-town, St Elmo, Farina just to name a few

Many of the workers are nice and helpful. The small store size is deceiving, they have a lot of different products, many you wouldn't expect them to have.

We needed a grill ASAP ( we were at the lake) and they had the perfect one for the best price. Hands down I say that's the best looking D.G. I have ever been in!

Just your basic dollar store. Great for a quick stop in for just a few things. Toilet paper is usually cheap here
